PADA: The good news is that we are now proving to many of our life member folks in India that the GBC has just now wasted $4,000,000 of their life member donations -- by using the life member's funds for suing us in India Delhi Supreme Court. More and more people, including some prominent ISKCON life members, are saying, why are these GBC gurus USING OUR DONATIONS for suing the people who are feeding 1.5 million children? More amazing, some important people in the ISKCON orbit just wrote to tell me that because the GBC gurus are suing our "free food program for poor children," it means these gurus are "icy hearted" and these gurus will have to "take birth as poor children themselves, where they will be starving, and instead of getting food, someone will be suing the program that feeds them in their future birth, so these gurus will have to starve." Hee hee! Also we have now got some of the gurus under arrest warrant in Calcutta even further exposing their plan to starve the children, this is their karma for trying to steal food from starving children. Anyway, this also proves our original point, these people are NOT QUALIFIED to be gurus, or else they would know it is a sin to starve poor children. ys pd
Book changes in full swing?

The BBT is pleased to announce the release of the annotated scans for chapter seven of Bhagavad-gita As It Is. They are now online at http://www.BBTedit.com/changes.
This is a historic chapter because here is where Srila Prabhupada switched from typing manuscripts himself to using a dictaphone.
What sort of difference did that make? Included with the scans are twelve sample pages from the manuscript, including both typed and dictated portions. So you can see for yourself.
In the annotated scans, you’ll find examples of both big changes and small ones. Check them out and see what you think.
On page 362: Why the change from “greatest opportunity for progress in Krsna consciousness” to “greatest opportunity to become a perfectly Krsna conscious person”?
On page 370: The book used to say that adherents of monism are “misleading themselves and others.” Now it says they are “guided by a faulty and polluted opinion.” Why?
On page 371: The text used to say that one “cannot create matter out of nothing.” Now that’s gone. Why?
On page 373: The book used to speak of Krsna’s “kindly supplying water to quench man’s thirst.” Why does it now speak of “tasty water”?
On page 374: Why does the book no longer say that the omkara transcendental sound “emanates from” the Supreme Lord?
On page 390: Jayadvaita Swami took out a whole Sanskrit verse from Srimad-Bhagavatam and put in an entirely different one. Why?
On pages 390 and 394: Why all those changes to the word-for-word meanings for texts 19 and 22?
In the annotated scans, you’ll see all these revisions and more.
And finally, on page 400, you’ll see how it came to pass that the first edition had Srimati Kuntidevi offering a prayer from the Isopanisad.
See all this for yourself in the annotated scans for chapter seven, now online at http://www.BBTedit.com/changes.
You’ll see all the revisions done for the purports, along with explanatory notes. And for nearly all the changes you’ll see images from the earliest manuscripts in the BBT’s files.
Whether you’re for “the changes,” against them, or neutral, here’s another opportunity to see what the changes actually are.
The changes for the Preface, the Introduction, and the previous chapters are already online. See them all at www.BBTedit.com/changes.
