ISKCON GBC Resolutions (West Bengal) 2017 pt.1

ISKCON GOVERNING BODY COMMISSION SOCIETY

Registration Number S/74662 under the West Bengal Societies Registration Act, 1961

P.O. Shree Mayapur Dham, Dist. Nadia, West Bengal 741313

MINUTES OF THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
SRI MAYAPUR DHAM, FEBRUARY 9 - 22, 2017

Go to 2017 Zonal Assignments

[PADA: OK so when the GBC made a big announcement in 1986, there are no more "guru zones," they simply repackaged this deviation as "Guru Zonal Assignments." What is the difference between the pre-1986 and post-1986 zonal guru's idea? Rocana keeps talking about "the former zonal guru days," that means he is not paying attention, they still have zones and none of this has been changed. Jayapataka swami for example is "the guru of West Bengal," and has been all along since 1978, because it his "Guru Zone."]

Section 100: APPOINTMENTS

101. GBC Officers and Members

1. His Holiness Bhakti Charu Swami is elected GBC Chairman.
2. His Grace Madhu Sevita Das is elected First Vice-Chairman.
3. His Holiness Bhaktivaibhava Swami is elected Second Vice-Chairman.
4. His Holiness Gopal Krsna Goswami is elected GBC Secretary.
5. His Grace Revati Raman Das is elected as a full GBC member.
6. His Holiness Giridhari Swami is re-appointed as a GBC member.

102. Sannyasa Waiting List

[PADA: OK Srila Prabhupada said sannyasa should be suspended in January of 1977, because it has become a laughingstock. And yet the GBC went on to certify more than a hundred more sannyasas after 1977, and perhaps an equal number of so-called "initiating spiritual masters." Yep, in January of 1978 the GBC "appointed" 11 "pure devotee diksha gurus," after just being told they should not even appoint more sannyasas one year prior. These neophyte followers are not qualified for sannyasa, therefore, they are qualified to be full blown diksha guru acharyas?]

* Ministry of Health and Welfare, Minister – Prahladananda Swami

Other member – Bir Krishna Das Goswami

[PADA: Oh boy, its Hrdayananda's pet fellow and co-Krishna West program leader, who is part of the GBC's program still. Bir Krishna says dhotis look like giant diapers, so he has to be the GBC's consultant on important topics? The GBC suspended Hrdayananda, but not his top generals?

Prahladananda is one of the persons who helps write the "rules" for governing the acharyas, the acharyas will be censured, suspended, monitored, removed, even excommunicated. He is in charge of the parampara from God? And why is it that so many sick, elderly and dying devotees cannot get "health and welfare" benefits, but the elite guru sabha always does, including perhaps trips to Cedar Sinai hospital?

And since the GBC gurus are getting sick oftentimes from "absorbing sins," and they were told by Srila Prabhupada they would get sick if they became premature diksha gurus and they absorbed sins without authority, why does the society have to pay for their deviations? They are getting sick due to violating the direct orders of the spiritual master, and we all have to pay for that?]

GBC-BBT Team

Members – Badrinarayan Swami (Coordinator), Gopal Krishna Goswami, Sivarama Swami, Madhu Sevita Das, Hrdaya Caitanya Das, Praghosa Das

[PADA: Here is your list of changed books promoters ...]

* Guru Services Committee

Members – Anuttama Das (Chairman), Prahladananda Swami, Virabahu Das, Bhakti Caitanya Swami, Atul Krishna Das (Mayapur)

[PADA: Great, Virabahu's wife said we should all go to Narayana Maharaja, ummm, because he said all the GBC's gurus are bogus? Virabahu also said in his guru tattva book that 95 percent of the ISKCON sannyasas will fail, ok and these same folks are also promoted as acharyas. 95 percent of the successors to Krishna will fail?]

* ISKCON Property Office, Members – Current GBC Executive Committee, Kuladri Das (Convener-Secretary), Bhaktarupa Das

[PADA: Kirtanananda's right hand man, Kuladri, is in charge of things, still?]

* Sastric Advisory Council,

Members: Urmila Dasi (Acting Chair), Drutakarma Das, Gauranga Das, Hari Parsad Das, Harideva Das, Narayani Dasi, Adi-purusa Das, Caitanya-caran Das, Sarvajna Das, Brijabasi Das, Krishna Abhishek Das.

[PADA: Is this the same Chaitanya Caran who is under investigation for saying Srila Prabhupada makes mistakes? Drutakarma told me personally, he cannot discuss the issue of the GBC's messiahs always falling down, its not his department. Its Yamaraja's department?]

* Finances

[PADA: Hmm, a long list which we could not detail herein, but fails to mention the $20,000,000 being spent to sue the ritviks? Isn't that expense bigger than the whole rest of their entire budget combined? Why is this expenditure missing from the budget? Why is an expenditure apparently bigger than all the rest of the budget combined, not even mentioned? And who is going to pay for the court case where the GBC's lackeys are being charged for criminal behavior in the Karnataka court? And why is this issue not mentioned?]

303: 2016 Child Protection Action

Whereas recent videos, publicity, and discussions have drawn particular attention to on-going problems at the schools in Vrindavan and Mayapur. These locations are both centers of historic Vaisnava worship and places that Srila Prabhupada envisioned to be exemplary centers of Krishna Conscious education, worship and culture. They should therefore be flagships of child and devotee care; not continued sources of concern or harm.

Whereas the ongoing problems in Vrindavan and Mayapur show that despite some genuine efforts, clearly not enough has been done. Local leaders, and perhaps the GBC itself, are not living up to the expectations demanded of them.
Whereas direct intervention is needed by the GBC to assure child protection within our ISKCON Society and Schools, and also satisfy the greater ISKCON community that the GBC is acting decisively.

Therefore, the following measures should be put in place regarding the Mayapur and Vrindavan schools. (We recognize that some of these measures may already be in place. Such progress is appreciated yet we list the full requirements below for proper documentation.)

Vrindavan School (Bhaktivedanta Gurukula & International School – BGIS)

Whereas, several months ago students of the Vrindavan school (BGIS) were sexually abused off site by a local perpetrator who is known to be a danger. The school pushed police authorities to have the alleged perpetrator, Devashish, arrested and a trial is proceeding. To push for the arrest and prosecution in a region where police are usually unwilling to take strong action is commendable.

Whereas, that any abuse could again occur in the vicinity of this school—despite the high priority of child protection we should expect there—is unacceptable. It demonstrates that the school did not have adequate measures in place to ensure the safety of its students.

Whereas, the Director of the ISKCON Child Protection Office has determined that child protection training, policies, and enforcement are inadequate within the BGIS.

RESOLVED:

The Vrindavan school (BGIS) is on notice for a minimum of one year from the date of the passage of this resolution. Within that time, the school must address the following mandates or be subject to a GBC discussion and possible decision to close its boarding school function. It is understood that some of these items may have been recently put into place. The GBC Executive Committee representative will be conducting an inquiry shortly after the conclusion of the midterm meetings to determine the progress and what additional steps are needed on the following mandates:

1. Administration

The Principal of the school must live full time in Vrindavan and work full time at the school.

The Principal must fulfill all qualifications required of such a post as established by the Indian Government, and have the appropriate educational background to oversee such a school. The Principal must undergo full CPO training, off site if necessary, at the school’s expense.

2. Within three months a full time Child Protection Officer must be engaged at the school.

a. The school will pay the salary of the CP Officer at a level appropriate to attract a qualified, well-trained person.

b. The Child Protection Officer is charged with ensuring the safety of the children at the school, and that they are protected from all forms of abuse. Any training, policies, or other programs that he or she deems necessary must be implemented by the Principal.

c. The CP Officer will be hired (or fired) with the advice and concurrence of the international CPO Director.

d. The CP Officer is accountable to the international CPO Director and school administration.

e. The CP Officer will file quarterly reports to the local administration, VEB, CPO, GBC EC, India Bureau EC, and the Principal.

3. Within three months, or at the latest one month after the hiring of the Child Protection Officer per above, the Principal must provide a detailed plan for ongoing child protection at the school, in consultation with the CP Officer and the International CPO Director, considering the school’s unique features and challenges.

4. The school will facilitate bi-annual inspections by the International Child Protection Director, or his or her representatives, and cover all the costs of such a visit. The first inspection should be conducted by January 2017. The visits shall last as long as needed, as determined by the CPO Director, and during that time the CPO Director shall have unhindered access to the school and to meet with students, administrators, parents, teachers, and other interested parties.

a. Any recommendations of the CPO must be undertaken by the school administrators within a time frame established by the CPO.

b. Failure to act on those recommendations will be reported to the GBC EC, and the ISKCON India Bureau, and may be cause for further probation or will subject the school to a vote of the GBC whether its boarding school functions, or the entire school, should be closed.

5. If the above steps are not in place within three months from passage of this resolution then all fund-raising for a new school campus shall be suspended, as determined by the GBC EC with the advice of the International CPO Director.

[PADA: Right, instead of spending money on fixing their school's problems (for example by hiring bona fide and qualified teachers) they are spending allegedly $20,000,000 suing the ritviks in the Delhi Supreme Court. And now they are saying they may have to close their schools due to lack of support, so its clear, they would rather spend money on lawyers than on hiring top notch people for their schools.

That was the whole problem from the get go in 1978.

And since the GBC promotes the worship of an illicit sex guru lineage, doesn't that mean they will attract perverts and sexual predators to take up posts (such as teachers) in their program? So they will NOT attract qualified persons under these circumstances?

Of course the reason they are suing the ritviks is because, the ritviks do not promote the worship of the GBC's illicit sex with men, women and children gurus as their messiahs. The ritviks want to worship pure people and not deviants. Should we not keep these kinds of people, and not sue them and kick them out?

Aren't the non-debauchee worshipers the people who should be placed into positions of authority, so they can weed out the worship of deviants and sexual predators? The ritviks also do not want to train up their children to worship an "illicit sex with men, women and children" guru program, so they have to be sued, banned, driven out and removed? How will they get qualified teachers if the teachers have to teach little children to worship a debauchee guru lineage?

So anyone who does not promote the worship of the GBC's illicit sex with men, women and children guru lineage is sued and removed, then they wonder why they have so many deviants running around? If they are training people that acharyas are often engaged in illicit sex, then the whole society will be permeated with this problem, ... you become what you worship.]

Mayapur Schools

Whereas, numerous problems and complaints have been directed toward the Mayapur Schools, and several recent CPO investigations and cases have been undertaken. Whereas, despite sincere attempts of the management to address child protection concerns, these have appeared inadequate to meet the many issues and problems associated with a very large community with multiple schools.

[PADA: Wow after all this time, there appears to be "inadequate resolution" to the child protection issue? Is this because the same jokers who created the mass molesting program in the first place, like Hrdayananda, Satsvarupa, Bhavananda, Hari Sauri, Jayapataka, Kirtanananda's right hand man Radhanath et al. ... are still in charge?]

RESOLVED:

1. Within 3 months the Mayapur Management is directed to reconstitute its Child Protection Team (CPT), as the current CPT objectivity may be compromised due to family affiliations.

[PADA: Right, one Bengali family of crooks hires their other family members to be in charge of things, and the crookedness continues, and this has compromised the program. Duh! This was known what, a thousand years ago? You cannot have crooks in charge of the hiring, especially if they will hire their friends and relatives! Duh! They don't know this by now?]

The local CPT should be composed of parents and other concerned adults. It is recommended that teachers and administrators from the several Mayapur schools should participate and act as advisors, but shall not vote nor be the decision makers of the CPT.

[PADA: OK, so the  parents are going to advise but not vote, that's not good. How can anything be changed if the people who want change, and they know what needs to be done to change things, cannot vote to change it?]

2. A full time Child Protection Officer must be engaged at the Mayapur community and schools within 3 months of the date of this resolution.

a. The local schools will share the costs the salary with the community for the CP Officer (proportionally as determined MAC with approval of the MEB) at a level appropriate to attract a qualified, well-trained person.

[PADA: Again, they are apparently spending $20,000,000 on lawyers and short changing money needed to get qualified persons to care for the kids, this is what they have done all along.]

b. The Child Protection Officer is charged with ensuring the safety of the children at the schools and community, and that they are protected from any abuse. Any training, policies, or other programs that he or she deems necessary must be implemented by the respective school’s Principal.

c. The CP Officer will be hired (or fired) with the advice and concurrence of the International CPO Director.

d. The CP Officer is accountable to the international CPO Director and local administration.

e. The CP Officer will file quarterly reports to the MAC, CPO, GBC EC, ISKCON Indian Bureau, and the Principals.

3. The International CPO Director or their representative shall visit the Mayapura schools a minimum of twice a year. Costs of the visit will be borne by the schools and community. During that time the CPO Director shall have unhindered access to all the schools located in Mayapura, and to meet with students, administrators, parents, teachers, and other interested parties.

Recommendations of the CPO must be undertaken by school administrators within the time frame determined by the CPO.

4. Failure to act on those recommendations will be reported to the GBC EC, and the Bureau, and may be cause for further action by the GBC including possibly ending boarding school functions, or closure of certain schools.

[PADA: Yep, they are going to close things down so they can have spare millions to sue the ritviks. Told ya! ys pd]

Srirangam or Sri Rangaksetra is the largest temple in world in which worship is still being performed. According to the great acaryas of Sri Sampradaya, Srirangam is the supreme holy place, it is Vaikuntha manifested in this world. Its history and its glories are spoken of in many of the Vedic literatures and Puranas. Srirangam, the premier Vaishnava temple in South India is the first and foremost among the 108 Vaishnava divyadesas.

In the year 1511 A.D., Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu visited Srirangam when He was touring South India. Lord Caitanya spent four months of Caturmasya Vrata (rainy season) in Srirangam, the longest time He spent in one place during His travels. Lord stayed at the house of a Sri Vaishnava brahmana named Venkata Bhatta, who then got the opportunity to serve the Lord to his heart’s content. Sri Gopala Bhatta Gosvami, who is one of the Six Gosvami’s of Vrindavana, was the son of Venkata Bhatta.

Srirangam (formerly Vellithirumutha gramam) and Thiruvarangam in Tamil is an island and a part of the city of Tiruchirappalli in south India, surrounded by holy Kaveri River and Kollidam. Srirangam is the main centre of worship and culture for the Sri Vaishnavas, the disciplic line of devotees of Lord Vishnu (Krishna) that begins with Lakshmi Devi (Sri, Lord Vishnu’s consort). Historically, their main acarya, or spiritual teacher, was Sripad Ramanujacarya.

Sri Caitanya Caritamrta Madha-lila chapter 9 verse 79 describes:

Sri Ranga-ksetra (Srirangam) is a very famous place. It lies in the district of Tiruchchirapalli, about ten miles west of Kumbhakonam and near the city of Tiruchchirapalli, on an island in the Kaveri River. The Srirangam temple is the largest in India, and there are seven walls and seven roads surrounding it. The ancient names of these roads are the road of Dharma, the road of Rajamahendra, the road of Kulasekhara, the road of Alinadana, the road of Tiruvikrama, the Tirubidi road of Madamadi-gaisa, and the road of Ada-iyavala-indana.

The temple was founded before the reign of Dharmavarma, who reigned before Rajamahendra. Many celebrated kings like Kulasekhara and Yamunacarya (Alabandaru) resided in the temple of Srirangam. Yamunacarya, Sri Ramanuja, Sudarsanacarya and others also supervised this temple.

The incarnation of the goddess of fortune known as Godadevi or Sri Andal was one of the twelve Alvars, liberated persons known as divya-suris. She was married to the Deity of Lord Sri Ranganatha, and later she entered into the body of the Lord. An incarnation of Karmuka named Tirumanga (also one of the Alvars) acquired some money by stealing and built the fourth boundary wall of Srirangam. It is said that in the year 289 of the Age of Kali, the Alvar of the name Tondaradippadi was born.

While engaged in devotional service he fell victim to a prostitute, and Sri Ranganatha, seeing His devotee so degraded, sent one of His servants with a golden plate to that prostitute. When the golden plate was discovered missing from the temple, there was a search, and it was found in the prostitute’s house. When the devotee saw Ranganatha’s mercy upon this prostitute, his mistake was rectified. He then prepared the third boundary wall of the Ranganatha temple and cultivated a tulasi garden there.

There was also a celebrated disciple of Ramanujacarya’s known as Kuresa. Sri Ramapillai was the son of Kuresa, and his son was Vagvijaya Bhatta, whose son was Vedavyasa Bhatta, or Sri Sudarsanacarya. When Sudarsanacarya was an old man, the Muslims attacked the temple of Ranganatha and killed about twelve hundred Sri Vaisnavas. At that time the Deity of Ranganatha was transferred to the temple of Tirupati, in the kingdom of Vijaya-nagara.

The governor of Gingee, Goppanarya, brought Sri Ranganatha from the temple of Tirupati to a place known as Simha-brahma, where the Lord was situated for three years. In the year 1293 Saka (A.D. 1371) the Deity was reinstalled in the Ranganatha temple. On the eastern wall of the Ranganatha temple is an inscription written by Vedanta-desika relating how Ranganatha was returned to the temple.

Srirangam temple compound covers about 3 square miles. The main temple is surrounded by seven walls, which represent the seven planetary systems described in Vedic cosmology. The seven walls have twenty-one towered entrances (gopurams), the highest of which is called the Rajagopuram and is 236 feet tall, biggest in Asia, and can be seen from at least ten miles away. Much of the town of Srirangam is within the three outer walls of the temple compound. After Tirupati, this is the second most visited Vaishnava temple in South India.

The Deity in the main temple is Sri Ranganatha Swamy, a two-armed form of Lord Vishnu reclining on the divine serpent Ananta Sesa. Near His feet are seated His two consorts, Sri Bhu and Sri Neela. In front of Lord Ranganatha is the utsava-murti of Lord Vishnu, called Sri Manavala Perumal. This deity is taken out of the temple for processions. Alongside Lord Ranganatha is Deity Tiruvaranga, who was worshiped as a substitute during the Muslim period, when the original could not be found.

At the feet of the Lord is Vibhisana, the brother of Ravana. Above the main altar is the Sriranga-vimana (golden tower) fully made of gold. On the four sides of the Sriranga vimana are carvings of four forms of Lord Vishnu. On the south side is Para-Vasudeva, on the west is Acyuta, on the north Ananda and on the east Govinda.

The priests of Srirangam have worshiped Sri Ranganatha in much the same way since the 18th century, when Sri Ramanuja set up strict standards of worship, with a meticulous schedule of songs, prayers, rituals, and offerings. Each morning at 6:45 am, a cow with her head facing away from Lord Ranganatha and an elephant facing the cow are brought before the altar. Thus when the deity’s doors are opened the first thing that Lord Ranganatha sees is the rear end of a cow and the head of an elephant, which are both considered very auspicious. Instead of a conch-shell being blown, the elephant blows his trunk. This is the most auspicious time to see Lord Ranganatha.

Since the time Sri Ranganatha decided to stay at Srirangam countless kings, queens, saints, sages, devotees, demigods, and goddesses have eagerly stood before the doors of His chamber awaiting His merciful glance. Millions of souls since ancient times have had that fortune, and many more will have it for many years to come. Vaikuntha Ekadasi is one of the main festival at the Srirangam temple.

History of Sri Ranganatha Swamy:

History of Srirangam as revealed in various Puranas traces back to the beginning of creation. At the beginning of this creation, Lord Brahma was born from the lotus sprouting from the navel of Lord Vishnu. There was darkness all around and Lord Brahma was initiated with a mantra, he chanted this mantra and was given the power to create. Brahma wanted a deity to worship. Pleased by the penance of Brahma, Lord Vishnu manifested Himself in the form of Lord Ranganatha lying on the Ananta Sesa for Brahma to worship. Lord Ranganatha appeared with His Deity chamber or vimana.

The Lord informed Brahma that he had come as a Svayamvyakta - on his own volition - as a deity. He would appear likewise in eight places on earth - Srirangam, Sri Mushnam, Venkatadri, Saligram, Naimisaranya, Totadri, Pushkara and Badrinath. Sri Ranga Vimana is the first and the earliest of all these. The Lord directed Brahma to worship him strictly according to the procedure for worship laid down in the Agamas.

Brahma carried the deity to Satyaloka and installed it on the banks of the river, Viraja. Brahma worshiped that deity for a long time. After him, Vaivasvata Manu, performed the worship. When his son Ikshvaku, became the King of Ayodhya, he wanted to have it installed at Ayodhya. Ikshvaku performed penance which lasted for many 100 years at the end of which he was permitted by Brahma to take it to Ayodhya. It was this dynasty in which Lord was later to appear in His avatar as Lord Ramacandra. Sri Ranganatha Swamy was their ancestral Deity.

After the coronation of Lord Ramacandra in Ayodhya, the celebration went on for one month. Nobody could leave the association of dear-most Lord Rama in Ayodhya. Seeing Vibhisana’s deep attachment, Rama wanted to give him the best thing He had. Vibhisana is the symbol of sarnagati. He surrendered everything to Lord Ramacandra. He took such risk in his loving service to Sri Rama. Lord Rama gave him His own personal murti, which was the ishtadev of Raghu dynasty for many ages.

Along with vimana, Vibhisana was carrying the deity to Lanka. On an island on the banks of Kaveri river, there was a king named Dharma Varma. Vibhisana stopped on this island of Sri Ranga. King Dharma Varma had earlier been to Ayodhya and saw the puja of Ranganath Swamy and in the heart of his heart he prayed that the Lord come here in his kingdom so that he could worship Him. Dharma Varma performed the worship of Sri Ranganatha Swamy and when it was time to go to Lanka, the murti would not move. The Lord spoke to Vibhisana, “I wish to remain here. This Ranga kshetra is Vaikuntha, it is My abode. I will remain here. I must fulfil the prayers of Dharma Varma. You go back to Sri Lanka and I will protect you.”

Generally deities face the eastern direction. But Ranganath Swami is facing the southern direction. His eyes are facing towards Sri Lanka. And by that glance He is protecting and fulfilling all of Vibhisana’s desires.

According to one commentary by a Vaishnava acarya of Sri Sampradaya, in Ayodhya, Sita asked Lord Rama the following. “When Vibhisana was telling Ravana that I should be sent back, he told that ever since I came in Sri Lanka there were inauspicious moments. I am goddess of fortune. I am supposed to make everything auspicious, then how come as soon as I came to Lanka there was inauspiciousness.” Then Lord Rama said, it was not because of you but Ravana’s nefarious activities. Sita said but still I am the source of auspiciousness then why everything became inauspicious. So Rama said that, “In the form of Ranganath I will always look towards Sri Lanka to show how supremely auspicious you have made it.”

Dharma Varma built a very beautiful temple but over the years the temple got covered over by sandstorms and floods. As generations went by it was forgotten. Then one day, temple histories say, a king of the Chola dynasty was resting under a tree in the area when a parrot told him that Lord Ranganath was buried under the sand.

Torben Nielsen is the Next Acharya?

Listen to me!

I am the way, the truth and the light?

Torben Nielsen Claims He is the Living Person We Listen to!

The Jesus complex?

Right, Torben is now our living physical spiritual master, he only names himself as the living authority we need to listen to. Why does Torben claim he is the living physically present person we need to listen to? Because he is another version of the GBC's false messiahs, they say the same thing, you need a living person (its themselves because they name no one else). I am the way, the truth, the light, because -- I am breathing? He is just recycling GBC-isms.

Torben says we need a living physically present person / spiritual master to listen to, and he only names himself as the SOLE physical living person we need to listen to, he never names any other living person to listen to -- other than -- himself. He is making himself the live authority de facto, which the GBC's gurus are doing.

That is what Tamal,  Ramesvara, Bhavananda, Kirtananada etc. were also saying?

"There is a live person you need to accept as your source of knowledge," and bingo, the GBC's gurus and Torben are those living persons we need to listen to. They volunteered for the job of being the living authority we listen to? They ALL have the false acharya's disease, they ALL say we need a live person, and they are that living person, because they ALL name NO ONE ELSE other than themselves.

And now Kim Moller says he is the twelfth person we need to listen to, he names no one else either? Srila Prabhupada says if you do not name your guru, then you have made yourself the guru. They self-appointed themselves as the living persons we need to listen to? And their mentor Rocana does this all the time, he is the living person we listen to and he says Srila Prabhupada is the posthumous, post samadhi, post mortem dead guy.

And Rocana is now the authority of Torben because he cites Rocana. Torben and Rocana are the live guys, and now Torben is Rocana's parrot. Why does Torben cite those who say the Vedas and their teachers are all dead and post mortem? That would make Krishna also post mortem?

Why does Torben keep saying we need to listen to him, just because he is alive, and no one else? Because he is just like Tamal, Bhavananda, and all the rest, that is what they said. The GBC's gurus, Rocana, Torben, Kailash, Kim Moller, all these guys say the same thing, you need a living person to listen to, then they name no other living person other than -- themselves. They are simply clones of the GBC's gurus, they are sock puppets of the false messiahs because they always quote their process!

They have made themselves the living person we need to listen to, just like the 11 made themselves the living persons. Sorry, the person we need to listen to is Srila Prabhupada and not all of you imitation clowns who are envious that people are listening to him and not you. Srila Prabhupada says that a living person who is not promoting the pure devotee is breathing just like a bellows, thus -- just because you are breathing that does not make you an authority, and we should know that by now since your living GBC masters have been dropping like flies.

Torben does not get it, we do not need to listen to living fools like him and his post mortem pooja masters, we need to get living guidance from the living books of the living acharya Srila Prabhupada, and also get some shiksha advice from the living persons who are promoting Srila Prabhupada aka the Prabhupadanugas.

Of course Torben was stumped when we asked him who do we offer bhogha to and promote as the current acharya, and he says there is no proof that Srila Prabhupada is accepting bhogha offerings or new disciples. And he knows this because, he is Prabhupada's boss? And worse, he never says who else should we give the bhogha offerings or new disciples to? He offers his bhogha to, himself?

BBT / Rupanuga / Dravida / Satsvarupa updates

BBT: We have had confirmation that the BBT of India has confiscated the original edition books printed by Prabhupadanuga affiliates. Apparently the GBC wants these devotees to pay some kind of a "fee" to the GBC for the "right" to print these books, so it's kind of a blackmail process. Our folks have to pay extra fees for the books, apparently these particular books will not be destroyed, ISKCON will take these books, but we're not sure how they will be distributed or if they will be distributed. And its also not clear how things will proceed from here.

So it looks like the book changers are using all kinds of legal tricks to maintain the distribution of their changed up books by harassing if not, not allowing the printing of originals. The only good news is, this is simply infuriating more and more of Krishna's devotees who are all now simultaneously cursing at all of these GBC leaders!

One devotee told us, when will all of them just get sick, fall down or just die already, and go to the lowest planets where they belong? Its amazing to us how the GBC simply makes more and more and more enemies every single day. Blocking the printing of Srila Prabhupada's books is the most sinful activity there is, said another devotee. We are supposed to give these books to the conditioned souls to save them, and the GBC is against that process. Well no kidding, that is what we said about them all along, they are trying to diminish the movement.

Krishna says one who has the blessings of the Vaishnavas has His blessings, and the person who has the curses of the Vaishnavas -- will be cursed by Krishna and His agents as well, because Krishna fulfills the desires of His devotees. As Srila Prabhupada says, false gurus are never forgiven by the Lord nor any agents of the Lord. So if you have many sincere Krishna devotees hoping that your party will die and go to hell, and Krishna is the person who fulfills the desires of the devotees, then what?

RUPANUGA DASA:  The next problem is with Rupanuga, he now says formal initiation is no longer required. Don't even worry about it! Everybody should accept that Srila Prabhupada is the the SHIKSHA guru of ISKCON, and now we do not need to worry about for example, having trained up Brahmanas to conduct deity worship, there won't be any more trained up Brahmanas, because the whole process of initiating stops.

We no longer require initiated persons to conduct the deity program -- at all? Yep! No one needs to be initiated to do the function of deity pooja anymore! Srila Prabhupada installed all of these deities, with the idea that the Brahmanas who worshiped them would all die off and there would be no one to replace them? What happens then, we put all the deities into boxes and warehouse storage?

I'm not sure where Srila Prabhupada said that the deity worship should no longer be conducted after he departs, or that it no longer requires trained up initiated Brahmanas to conduct the program? Rather, this seems like another eccentric concoction from these people. Worse, this makes it sound like Rupanuga really wants Krishna's worship to be STOPPED entirely. We will no longer have His worship or pooja going on? Where is this ordered?

First of all, Rupanuga said we need to take initiation from his 11 conditioned souls acharyas, like Kirtanananda swami. And Rupanuga adamantly supported the idea that these conditions souls can act as another Jesus - like sin absorbing Messiah. Did we forget to mention, that concocted scheme didn't seem to work out very well for Rupanuga and his pals?

And so now he's sour grapes, lets end all diksha, and he is changing his tune, by saying there is no need for any formal initiation process at all. So now, there is not going to be any source of "divyam jnanam which destroys sins" (diksha) in ISKCON. Then, how can people make progress, if there is no source of divyam jnanam which destroys their sins (diksha)? Never mind, we won't even have deity pooja going on anymore either, because we will chop off the whole process of initiating poojaris? And who will cook for the deity if there are no initiated people to do that? Krishna has to starve now?

Srila Prabhupada says that Jesus is accepting the sins of his followers even now, but Rupanuga says -- there's no need for people to have their sins absolved anymore. They'll just keep their sins, and, stay here in the material world? So it seems like Rupanuga simply wants to keep the mass of people stuck here, trapped here in the meshes of suffering, death and MAYA, with no escape plan.

How will people be liberated when we say they no longer need "knowledge which destroys sins," aka diksha? How is that going to work? How can we have a religion based on -- we are no longer going to give the knowledge which destroys sins (diksha)?

Look at any religion, they have a path to get knowledge (di -- divyam jnanam) to destroy the sins (ksha) for their followers. How can anyone approach God unless they are getting knowledge which destroys their sins? Rupanuga is making no sense at all, he has changed up the entire Vedic process.

The ACTUAL process for today, and forever actually, is to get knowledge which destroys sins. That is how we approach this issue, it cannot be changed. Worse, the next problem with Rupanuga is that he defies another of Srila Prabhupada's direct instructions, Srila Prabhupada says that neophytes CANNOT absorb sins like Jesus, but Rupanuga encouraged all sorts of his God brothers to take the post of diksha gurus and to ABSORB sins left, right and center.

A diksha guru has to be as qualified as Jesus, to absorb these sins. Rupanuga has never explained how or where Srila Prabhupada made this proclamation, that henceforward, neophytes could absorbs sins just like Jesus? When was this order given?

In fact, Srila Prabhupada said the exact opposite! He said that when we neophytes act as diksha gurus and absorb sins, we will be overwhelmed by these sins,  and because of that, these neophytes will eventually fail, they will fall down, get sick or both, and of course if a person gets sick enough he DIES.

Rupanuga's plan to save his God brothers, and the world?

We find no indication that Rupanuga can substantiate his claim that our neophytes can absorb sins like Jesus? This "order" was never made by Srila Prabhupada. Isn't Rupanuga's encouraging neophytes to absorb sins killing his God brothers both spiritually and even materially?

Sorry! We only find evidence of the opposite instruction, that it is not feasible nor possible for neophytes to take up other's sins and dispose of them. Rather, they are going to fall down, get sick and / or DIE, it then seems like Rupanuga is harming if not KILLING his God brothers by telling them they are as qualified as Jesus. This is then causing these brothers to fail, if not die.

Now in the Christian religion they claim that their source of spiritual knowledge and the source of having one's sins washed away or absorbed is Jesus. Rupanuga says that in ISKCON we have no such source of this function, that's it, its all over now. The only good news is that he is admitting that his previous directive of telling neophyte people to take sins and act as diksha gurus was a BAD IDEA, and he has caused many people to get sick, fall down if not DIE, by encouraging them on the WRONG path.

When is Rupanuga just going to admit, his ideas are bogus and harmful?

DRAVIDA DASA: was lecturing recently in March 2017, saying the guru prayers (samsara dava) which are sung in the Temples apply somewhat to the GBC's gurus -- simultaneously -- those same prayers apply ALSO to Srila Prabhupada. Except, the part of the prayer where it says the guru is assisting the gopies -- nikunja yuno -- this part of the prayer probably does not apply to the GBC's gurus. Very confusing?

We are singing a prayer that applies to both conditioned souls and pure devotees -- at the same time? Then we wonder why people are confused? This is like saying the word "gold" applies to both tin cans and solid gold rings at the same time? Of course Jayadvaita is Dravida's best friend and he simply says the Dravida guru parampara is full of illicit sex with men, women and children. Apparently, only sex with goats is prohibited in their messiahs from heaven process?

So he is saying the samsara song has multiple layers applied to multiple levels of people. Again, this was never stated by Srila Prabhupada. He never said that the samsara prayers to the guru would apply to both conditioned souls and neophytes simultaneously, rather these prayers would only apply to the direct assistants of the gopis. Then again, why are we offering bhogha to these conditioned souls? We have to offer bhogha to Dravida's illicit sex with men, women and children programs?

It seems to us that these guys are making all this up as they go along. Of course Rupanuga also does not explain who the bhogha should be offered to either? At least he is now saying his idea of offering bhogha to debauchees is probably not so good an idea.

So the guru is assisting gopis, except when he is suspended, censured, or removed by the GBC? This is not what Srila Prabhupada said in any of his lectures, books or in any of his directives anywhere. They are making all this up. The guru is absorbing sins like Jesus, and he is becoming overwhelmed by these sins, then he is falling down and getting sick, and maybe he dies, because that's what happens to liberated souls?

So its misdirecting people about what is liberated soul what is not? Worse, if we look at the video in the Los Angeles Temple, we notice the room is almost empty. What happened to all of the people? That room used to be packed out with hundreds of people, standing room only, when the pure devotee was being worshiped. Now that the worship tradition has been changed to worship of conditioned souls, the place looks like a ghost town.

So that is the difference between worshiping a pure devotee and worshiping an impure person -- it's not attracting a lot of people and never will.

SATSVARUPA DAS GOSWAMI: Yet another person has wrote to ask me about Satsvarupa Das Goswami and why he often writes that it's not a good idea for neophytes to chant in a solitary place, and yet he is often chanting in a solitary place? And he was staying at Howard Johnson Motels to the point he became known as "the hojo swami."

This begs the question, why has he isolated himself from the society and the programs of the society? Why was he living in Howard Johnson motels? Why does he live on an isolated place in Ireland where he writes he is walking down the beach kicking dead sea gulls? Where was he instructed to conduct this isolated lifestyle?

He says he's living a very isolated lifestyle and he's watching television. That means he's fallen away from the standard of devotional service. And where is the GBC when it comes to monitoring their hojo swamis? So recently, a guru admits to his friend that the reason he preaches in remote areas is, he wants to avoid the kerfluffle of all the problems being created by the GBC, so he stays in isolated areas on purpose to avoid all these controversies. So they are not only not solving their isolation problem, they are isolating themselves even more. That is good news, it means we have got them on the run! ys pd

Five Reasons the Elderly Gopis Love Krishna

Five Reasons The Elderly Gopis Love Krishna

[Krishna with Yashoda]“The gopis would say, “If You dance, my dear Krishna, then I shall give You half a sweetmeat.” By saying these words or by clapping their hands, all the gopis encouraged Krishna in different ways. At such times, although He was the supremely powerful Personality of Godhead, He would smile and dance according to their desire, as if He were a wooden doll in their hands. Sometimes He would sing very loudly, at their bidding. In this way, Krishna came completely under the control of the gopis.” (Shrimad Bhagavatam, 10.11.7)

gopībhiḥ stobhito ’nṛtyad
bhagavān bālavat kvacit
udgāyati kvacin mugdhas
tad-vaśo dāru-yantravat

There is a lot to love about Shri Krishna. The Sanskrit word for God the person is bhagavan. The Vishnu Purana defines this word as “one who possesses six opulences in full.” If you like power, you have it in full in Shri Krishna. He is so powerful that simply through one of His expansions He creates many universes. And even in that expansion, who is known as Lord Vishnu, He barely breaks a sweat. He lays down and exhales for everything to manifest. When He inhales everything comes back into Him.

In Krishna there is full knowledge. The Bhagavad-gita is evidence of this. Having trouble at work? Dealing with an illness while travelling abroad? Not sure which direction to go in life? Are you unsatisfied even after having been reasonably successful in life? The most difficult issues get addressed in this famous conversation between charioteer and bow-warrior. Though Krishna is driving the chariot, He assumes the position of superior when asked by Arjuna, the dear friend and disciple.

[Rasa-lila] Krishna has full beauty as well. This is best appreciated by the gopis of Vrindavana. They are young cowherd girls. They rendezvous with the Supreme Lord in the middle of the night in the forest. The bright moon provides the light and Krishna the ideal dance partner. There are many paintings depicting this famous pastime. As He can do whatever He wishes, the singular God, Krishna, expands into identical forms so that each gopi feels like they are dancing with Him alone.

Vrindavana also has elderly gopis. These are the mothers of the community. They appreciate Krishna in unique ways. Their interactions with Him are not what you would typically associate with the origin of everything.

1. He dances when they ask Him to.

Krishna appears on this earth millennium after millennium, as He states in the Bhagavad-gita.

ajo ‘pi sann avyayātmā
bhūtānām īśvaro ‘pi san
prakṛtiṁ svām adhiṣṭhāya
sambhavāmy ātma-māyayā

“Although I am unborn and My transcendental body never deteriorates, and although I am the Lord of all sentient beings, I still appear in every millennium in My original transcendental form.” (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-gita, 4.6)

[Krishna dancing with Yashoda] When He comes as Himself, the full incarnation, He spends the early portion in Vrindavana. There He plays the role of adorable son to mother Yashoda and her husband Nanda. One of the ways that Yashoda delights in Krishna’s association is by asking Him to dance. The Supreme Lord happily obliges, showing that His mother is very dear to Him.

2. He tries to bring Nanda’s slippers.

Children imitate the parents. It is only natural. If we go outside to the mailbox every day to pick up the latest mail, our children might notice. They may ask to do the same one day. Though it’s a trivial task to the adults, to the children it’s very important. It makes them feel like grown ups. In keeping with the role of child, Krishna would sometimes try to pick up the slippers of His father and bring them to him. Sometimes the objects in question would fall from His hand. Though He upholds all the planets in the universe, for some reason the slippers are too heavy.

3. He barters for fruits.

[Krishna with the fruit vendor] Krishna observed how goods were exchanged in Vrindavana. It was the barter system. Having seen His parents give grains in exchange for fruits, Krishna decided to try it one time. Unfortunately, most of the grains fell from His hands. Those same hands which would later give the death-punch to the evil king of Mathura were somehow unable to keep a sufficient amount of grains in them. Never mind, though, as the fruit vendor was more than pleased by the valiant effort of the innocent child. The vendor filled His hands with fruits anyway, and the Supreme Lord then transformed the contents of her basket into jewels. The whole town was delighted by this.

4. He steals butter.

Yes, the Supreme Lord steals. He is all-goodness, or shudda-sattva. There is no such thing as sin in Him. Sin is anything which brings one further away from Krishna consciousness. Piety is the reverse; that which leads to the original mentality of always wanting to please Krishna in service. When Krishna lies, it is adorable. One time Yashoda heard from Krishna’s friends that He had eaten dirt. Krishna said He hadn’t, and no one could tell if He was being truthful. Other times He would get accused of stealing butter from the neighbors and then play innocent when brought in front of the judge, Yashoda.

5. He shows His adorable smile.

[Krishna smiling] The Supreme Lord’s smile is a killer of pride. Pride results from false ego, which is one of the elements of the subtle body. As long as false ego remains, rebirth continues. Just seeing Krishna is so powerful that it removes the catalyst for staying in the material ocean. He showed that smile many times to the elderly gopis, who experienced the real meaning to liberation as a result. They had no interest in mystic perfection, material gain, or strict renunciation. They were as happy as they could be where they were, in the company of the all-attractive Supreme Lord.

In Closing:

Since His adorable smile to see,
Elderly gopis happy as could be.
Not wanting gain or mystic perfection,
Or rebirth in spiritual world’s reflection.
Rather loving Krishna for His stealing,
His bartering for fruits to heart appealing.
From them meaning of liberation learn,
Towards service of Yashoda’s son turn.

Injured Cowherd Lady Needs Assitance

https://www.gofundme.com/karunamayis-medical-care

PADA: Yep, how did you guess, guys like Jayapataka swami, Radhanath swami, Hari Sauri, Gopal Krishna swami, Lokanath swami, Bhakti Vikas swami etc are all supporting their GBC guru program which is spending $20,000,000 suing the rtiviks, and some of their people said they would spend THE NEXT 100 YEARS suing the ritviks at a cost of over $100,000,000.

Yep, there is always $100 million extra bucks of spare change laying around doing nothing, so it can be used to hire lawyers to sue the devotees, so they can kick the devotees out and have more EMPTY TEMPLES. But if a devotee is serving Krishna and HELPING cows, and they get injured, why is it -- the GBC cupboard is always seemingly bare, and there are not even two cents in there apparently?

Wow, there is readily $100 million dollars laying around to be used to BUY MORE AND MORE NEW MERCEDES for lawyers, but zip, nada, zlich, to help the injured citizens? Another devotee we know is in hospital and is getting surgery for $15,000, maybe more, and this devotee is worried they won't have rent money. Oh, I forgot, this devotee is not a lawyer, so does not deserve any funds or help. ys pd

Gopal Champu (by Srila Jiva Goswami) pt. 2

29. The realm of Gokula is full of all glories and opulences. As we will describe later in this book following the descriptions in Srimad Bhagavatam, it is the place where the Supreme Personality of Godhead, who is an ocean of mercy, after leaving His ocean abode, entered. This is Lord Krsna's own abode and the abode of His cowherd people. This is the place where, by entering and then leaving the waters of delightful Brahma Lake, and by revealing His Vaikuntha opulences to Akrura, and by accepting the prayers of the Vedas Personified, Lord Krsna revealed the truth of His human like pastimes in Vrndavana.

He thus filled His associates with wonder. And even now the wise devotees take shelter and directly see the Supreme Lord's pastimes, and where, according to Hari-vamsa's description of Govindabhiseka (Krsna's coronation), King Indra came to understand that Krsna is the all-pervading Supreme Personality of Godhead. And the Lord's entourage is including the forest of Vrndavana and the surrounding area, some say this is situated in the spiritual sky, far above the coverings of the material world, and is where devotees take shelter of the spiritual ground where Lord Krsna enjoys many pastimes.

And this is where Lord Krsna manifested His spiritual form, a form described in Brahma-samhita and many other scriptures. In this abode Lord Krsna enjoys many manifest and unmanifest pastimes, described in these scriptures. This abode of Gokula is also described in Brahma-samhita, which affirms (5.56, 2, 4, and 5)

30-31. I worship that seat known as Svetadvipa, where as loving consorts the Laksmis in their unalloyed spiritual essence practice the amorous service of the Supreme Lord Krsna as their only lover, where every tree is a transcendental purpose tree, where the soil is full of spiritual gems, all water is nectar, every word is a song, every gait is a dance, and the flute is the favorite attendant of the residents.

This abode is full of self-effulgence and transcendental bliss, and the supreme spiritual entities are all enjoyable by the Lord, where numberless milk cows always emit transcendental oceans of milk, where there is eternal existence of transcendental time, who is ever present and without past or future and hence is not subject to the quality of passing away even for the space of half a moment. That realm is known as Goloka to only a very few self realized souls in this world.

32. "The super excellent station of Krsna, which is known as Gokula, has thousands of petals and a corolla like that of a lotus sprouted from a part of His infinite aspect, the whorl of the leaves being the actual abode of Krsna."

"The whorl of that eternal realm of Goloka is the hexagonal abode of Krsna. Its petals are the abodes of gopis who are part and parcel of Krsna to whom they are most lovingly devoted and are similar in essence. The petals shine so beautifully like so many walls. The extended leaves of that lotus are the garden-like dhama, i.e. the spiritual abode of Sri Radhika, the most beloved of Krsna."

33 -36. "There is a mysterious quadrangular place named Svetadvipa surrounding the outskirts of Gokula. Svetadvipa is divided into four parts on all sides. The abodes of Vasudeva, Sankarsana, Pradyumna, and Aniruddha are separately located in each of these four parts. These four divided abodes are enveloped by the four fold human requirements such as piety, wealth, passion, and liberation, as also by the four Vedas, viz. Rg, Sama, Yajur, and Atharva, which deal with the mantra and which are the basis of achievements of the fourfold mundane requirements.

Ten tridents are fixed in the ten directions, including the zenith and nadir. The eight directions are decorated with the eight jewels of Mahapadma, Padma, Sankha, Makara, Kacchapa, Mukunda, Kunda, and Nila. There are ten protectors (dik — palas) of the ten directions in the form of mantra. The associates of the hues of blue, yellow, red, and white, and the extraordinary potencies bearing the names of Vimala etc., shine on all sides."

37. "I worship Govinda, the primeval Lord, the first progenitor, who is tending the cows, yielding all desire, in abodes built in spiritual gems, surrounded by millions of purpose trees, always served with great reverence and affection by hundreds of thousands of laksmis or gopis."

38. In the Vamana Purana it is said: "Studded with jewels and glorious with colorful mineral pigments, Govardhana Hill is glorious in Gokula. Its banks studded with jewels, the Yamuna, the best of rivers flows in Gokula."

39. The evidence of the scripture will be the resting place of this poem. That evidence will be like a board where I paint the picture that is this poem.

40. Because it is the home of the cows and cowherd people, Lord Krsna's abode is called by the name "Goloka" (the world of the cows), and because it is untouched by matter and therefore is supremely pure, it is also called by the name "Svetadvipa" (the white island). Some few wise souls in this world know that this is the supreme realm, the highest realm.

Therefore the transcendental Goloka and the transcendental Svetadvipa both mentioned in the Brahma-samhita verse quoted here in text 3 are the same place.

41. That is the proper, logical conclusion. The word "sriyah" means the blissful and independent gopis. In the other Vaikuntha realms there is only one Goddess Sri (Laksmi), but in Goloka there are many sriyahs. Therefore Goloka's glory is without limit. These many sris are the gopis, who are described in the great mantra "gopijana-vallabhaya svaha." Brahma-samhita verse quoted here in text 3 is in the nominative plural and refers to these associates.

42. Here we accept not only the customary meaning of the word "Sri" but Sukadeva Gosvami uses the general meaning of the word "Sri", which there means "Goddess Laksmi." In Brahma-samhita 5.29 (quoted here in text 37) Lord Brahma uses the word "Sri" in its special sense. There the word means "the gopis". The words "Sri" and "gopi" are like the words "kuru" and "pandava".

In one sense they are not different, but in another sense there is a distinction. The most exalted Sri is Goddess Radha rani. This is described in the Padma, Skanda, Varaha, Matsya, and other Puranas, and also in the Govinda-Vrndavana Tantra. What more need be said? It is said: this also has a special meaning, namely "gopi".

43. Of all women, the Laksmis are the best. Among the Laksmis, the gopis are the best. Among the gopis, Radha rani is the best. What girl is more beautiful and playful like Srimate Radha rani?

44. All the gopis share the same lover. His name is Govinda (Krsna), and He is the glory of Gokula. One by one, he enjoys pastimes with each of the beautiful gopis. He is the best of all lovers of beautiful girls.

45. Bewildered by Yogamaya, the gopis believe they are other's wives and are thus bewildered. The use here of the word "sri" (goddess of fortune) and "parama purusa" (the Supreme Personality of Godhead) prove that their idea is untrue. Quoting many passages from scripture, this I will explain later in this book. Krsna is their paramour.

46. The same truth applies also to Lord Balarama.

47. As explained in Brahma-samhita 5.56 (quoted here in text 3), because they have the power to fulfill all desires, all trees in Goloka are kalpa-vrksa trees (purpose trees). Not only are those trees glorious, but they are very extraordinary and rare. In their very nature kalpa-vrksa trees have very extraordinary qualities.

48. Furthermore, the land in Goloka is splendid to touch and splendid to see, splendid like a great mirror. It is a great monsoon of splendour. It is filled with cintamani jewels.

49. It is more beautiful and more glorious than any place in the fourteen worlds. Its palaces and buildings are all made of cintamini jewels. The great beauty of its trees and plants and flowers always takes birth in the devotee's heart.

50. It is said: That the sights and sounds of the different kinds of beautiful hills, birds, and beasts there fill the people of Goloka with wonder.

51. In Goloka all water is like nectar. What is the nectar of this world in comparison to that nectar? In Goloka all words are song, are like nectar poured into the ears. What are the songs of this world in comparison to those songs? In Goloka all walking is the most graceful dance. Those dances are very glorious and charming.

52. In Goloka Lord Krsna's flute sings very sweetly and playfully. That flute is Krsna's dear friend. No one is fortunate like that flute.

53. Goloka is full of transcendental bliss. By the power of the Lord's of the material world, are manifested in Goloka. By the Lord's potency are manifest there a sun, moon, and stars, and other things very beautiful and charming. Still, Goloka is not at all like the material world. In Goloka are none of the inevitable transformations that make the material worlds so temporal and horrible, instead there are unparalleled transcendental potencies and His infinite pastimes.

54. In the course of its description of the five tattvas, in the Haya sirsa pancaratra the things in Vaikuntha are described in these words: "In the spiritual world the flowers and everything else are fragrant and very pleasing to the senses. Everything there is full of nectar."

55. "There unpleasant things do not exist. Everything there is nectar. The fruits there have no skin, seed, hardness, or anything unpleasant. Please know that nothing there is made of matter."

56. In Srimad-Bhagavatam (10.14.37) it is said: "My dear Lord, Your Vrndavan pastimes are simply to enthuse Your devotees. If someone takes Your Vrndavana pastimes to be material, he will be misled." In these words the demigod Brahma says, "0 Lord, Your surrendered devotees participate in Your pastimes, eternal, spiritual pastimes that are like an imitation of the activities of the material world. I cannot participate in these eternal pastimes as they can."

57. In these words of the demigod Brahma the first sentence describes participating in the Lord's pastimes and the second sentence also describes participating in Lord's pastimes.

58. The first sentence refers to the transcendental potency that manifests pastimes according to the Lord's will. The second sentence also refers to the Lord's potency, the same potency that manifests all the Lord's pastimes.

59. When Lord Krsna plays the flute, the surabhi cows become completely enchanted. The cows then make many great rivers of fragrant milk flow from the great mountains of their udders, rivers that join to become an ocean, an ocean of milk like a great moat surrounding Goloka on all sides. These cows are kamadhenu cows, cows that fulfil all desires, for from them flows an ocean of milk.

60. The wise devotees know that many different rivers of many different kinds of nectar flow in Goloka.

61. Furthermore, Lord Krsna's parents, brother, friends, and other associates of different ages, some in kaisora (childhood), some in nava-yauvana (new youth), some in yauvana (youth), some in ardha-vardhakya (middle age), and some in other ages. They keep these ages eternally. They do not grow older.

62. In the middle of the face of Goloka is a jewel lotus of many thousands of petals. Lord Krsna affirms the world of Gokula is His very self. He says; "I am Vraja, the home of the cowherd people and their cows."

63. Here the ordinary meaning of the word "Gokula" (a multitude of cows) should be rejected. It is said: "A definition accepted by tradition and custom takes precedence over a definition based on mere etymology." The word "jalaja" may be taken as an example. The etymological definition is "anything born in water." However in tradition and custom this word is used to mean "lotus flower." In the same way "gokula" here refers not to a multitude of cows, but to a specific place.

64. Srila Sukadeva Gosvami uses the word "gokula" in this way when he says (Srimad-Bhagavatam 10.10.39): "Sri Krsna is the master of Gokula." In this passage the "gokulesvara" is an example of the pratyaya varac. Another example of this usage is seen in these words from the Vedas: "Gokula is a forest in Vaikuntha."

65. In this way is gloriously manifest the abode of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, who enjoys pastimes as Nanda's son. That abode is made of jewels and filled with glorious variety. Its limitless variety is manifested from Lord Ananta Sesa. It is said:

66. In the filament of the lotus flower of Goloka are the abodes where the kind gopas, gopas who think Krsna is their only treasure, reside.

67. In this verse the word "daya" means "treasure", and "dayadayah" means "they who think Krsna is their only treasure."

68. The word "dayadayah" is a bahuvrihi-samasa. As the word "bahuvrihi" means "a person who has a great store of rice," so the word "dayadayah" means "a person who has a great store of love for Lord Krsna." Such a person takes shelter of Lord Krsna.

69. The word "dayadayah" may also be interpreted to mean kinsmen. That many of the cowherd people were Krsna's kinsmen is explained by Sri Sukadeva Gosvami in these words (Srimad-Bhagavatam 10.36.15): "Krsna was already the life and soul of the inhabitants of Vrndavana, and after killing this demon in the shape of a bull, He became the cynosure of all eyes. With Balarama He triumphantly entered Vrndavana village, and the inhabitants glorified Him and Balarama with great jubilation. When a person performs some wonderful feat, his kinsmen and relatives and friends naturally become jubilant."

70. The petals of the Goloka lotus are many forests where the gopis, who are all expansions of the goddess of fortune, enjoy pastimes. As it is said in Brahma-samhita (5.29): "In those abodes built with spiritual gems, surrounded by millions of purpose trees, Lord Krsna enjoys pastimes."

71. Lord Krsna made Radha the queen of Goloka. That is described in the Puranas. There it is also said that Krsna has fallen under the spell of Radha's transcendental qualities. This I know.

72. The words "Sri" and "parama-purusa" in Brahma-samhita refer to Lord Krsna and the gopis. If they did not, then why would these verses describe the lotus-petal world of Vraja?

73. From the center of the lotus flower of Gokula came many raised and slightly jeweled petals connected by various paths. In the midst of these petals many cowherd towns and villages are gloriously manifested. In this way Gokula is known.

74. Seeing that the time has come to milk the cows, Krsna and the gopas bring the cows to the barns made of jewels, barns surrounded by lotus flowers and kalpa-vrksa trees.

75. Surrounding the lotus flower of Gokula is a quadrangular place. This splendid islands outside that place are called by the names Svetadvipa and Goloka. Beyond those islands is a great ocean. Beyond that ocean are lands that are a great variety of wonderful planets where suffering does not exist. On the petals of the Gokula lotus are many forests known by the name "Keli-Vrndavana" (Pastime Vrndavana). This is described in the following words from the Pancaratras: "In the great world of Vrndavan are many pastimes of Vrndavan forests." entire place is called by the name Vrndavana. The places that are like great

76. Streams of nectar flow everywhere from that lotus flower of Gokula. In the south and west are bumblebee mountains that sip the stream of nectar. The king of the mountains is jewel-summit delightful Mount Govardhana.

77. With many charming jewel boulders, the mountain named Govardhana offers a sitting place for Lord Krsna. With the cooing of many birds Govardhana offers Lord Krsna a welcome. With its swiftly flowing streams filled with lotus flowers, durva grass, and syamaka seeds, Govardhana offers padya. With limitless new shoots of darbha grass growing deer-hoofprint puddles, Govardhana offers arghya. With ponds where jati, lavanga and kakkola grow on the shores Govardhana offers acamaniya. With fresh, fresh, yoghurt, ghee, and honey Govardhana offers madhuparka. With water from a clear spring at its summit Govardhana offers bathing water. With golden tree bark, fine like silk, Govardhana offers garments.

With fragrant powders, sandal paste, and red and white minerals Govardhana offers fragrant ointment. With blooms of malati vines and other vines Govardhana offers pleasing flowers. With the dust raised by the surabhi cows hooves Govardhana offers incense. With the glistening of its many jewels Govardhana offers a glittering lamp even in the daytime. With charming gunja, peacock feathers, clusters of flowers, and many other pleasing objects, Govardhana offers ornaments.

With pleasing fruits and roots Govardhana offers delicious meals. With cool flower-scented water mixed with fragrant and pure tulasi leaves Govardhana offers water to rinse the mouth. With campaka flowers and other glorious blooming flowers moving in the gentle breeze Govardhana offers arati. With budding nakula flowers and other trees Govardhana offers a graceful parasol. With blooming branches moving in the breezes from the Malaya Hills,  Govardhana offers the service of fanning Lord Krsna.

With the dancing of the cooing peacocks Govardhana offers a festival of dancing. When, attracted by Krsna's flute music carried by the breeze, a gopi comes, Govardhana prepares a soft couch of flowers. With the cuckoos cooing Govardhana makes sweet singing. Gazing at Lord Krsna and performing these services to please Him, Govardhana Hill confirms his reputation as the best of the Lord's servants.

78. Near Govardhana Hill is his companion, delightful Manasa-ganga, who melts with love for Lord Krsna. Manasa-ganga s name is explained in this verse:

79: With a slight touch from the feet of Lord Vamana, who is an amsa incarnation of Lord Krsna, the Ganga river, which washes away all sins, came to this world and was carried on Lord Siva's head. What then can be said of the peerless Ganga brought to this world by Lord Krsna Himself, Lord Krsna who always stays with the people of Vraja, people more exalted and glorious than Brahma, Siva, and Laksmi?

80. The Yamuna, which is also called by the name "Kalindi" (daughter of Mount Kalinda), enjoys pastimes in the northern and eastern terrace of the blissful land of Vraja. It is described in these words: When Krsna does not play His flute, the Yamuna flows with waters like melted sapphires. When Krsna does play His flute, the Yamuna, stunned in ecstasy, becomes like the land paved with sapphires. In these ways, as either water or land the Yamuna serves Lord Krsna.

81. The lotus flowers that grow in her waters are the eyes with which she gazes at Lord Krsna. Her whirlpools are the ears with which hears about Krsna. Her fish are the nose with which she smells the fragrance of Lord Krsna. Her waves are the arms with which she embraces Lord Krsna. Her swans and cranes are the mouth with which she glorifies Lord Krsna. Her waters are the servant with which she glorifies Lord Krsna. What kind of goddess is Yamuna-devi, that she serves Lord Krsna in these ways?

82. The sages make this guess about the Yamuna's waters: Staying always in the forests of Vraja, the Yamuna nourishes all the lakes. Look. With her waters the Yamuna fills all the lakes.

83. It is also said: In some places by the Yamuna's shores lotuses and water lilies grow by the water's edge, in other places are forests filled with many glorious flowers, in other places are the sweet sounds of peacocks, cuckoos, or bumblebees, and in other places are beautiful marks of rasa dances. All these places always delight the eyes, ears and nose.

84. It is also said: Its great branches extending from one side to the other, a banyan tree is like a bridge across the Yamuna. Playing on that bridge, again and again the cowherd boys cross from one side to the other.

85. It is also said: In one place it had a hollow like a palace. In another place it had a delightful branch like a couch. In another place was a vine-covered branch like a swing. What pastime-place did that banyan tree not provide for Lord Krsna7 86. North of that banyan tree is Rama-ghatta, where Krsna enjoys pastimes with Balarama.

87. In the sky above Goloka the most exalted demigods, the demigods worshiped by the rulers of the planets, fly in their airplanes. There the caturvyuha expansions headed by Lord Vasudeva stand guard with Their armies. Of what use are petty human goals in Goloka?

88. The place named Goloka is supremely glorious. How can anyone say it with glory. To the followers of religion it is wonderful religious deeds personified. To they who meditate on the Supreme it is the bliss of seeing the Supreme directly. To the devotees of the Lord it is ecstatic love for Him. Thus, according to the different conceptions, they all see Goloka in different ways, is it ordinary? To the demi-gods it is an ocean of nectar.

89. It is also said: "What glory is this? What wonders are these? What kind of dancing is this? What world is this? What kind of love is this, love standing before us like a person, love glorified by Sukadeva Gosvami?" The demi-gods ruling the planets question and guess in these ways. Day after day they feel bewilderment in awe about Lord Krsna's abode.

90. Lord Krsna's world of Goloka is beyond the material intelligence's power of understanding. Even so, that spiritual world forcibly enters the intelligence: I do not hanker after material sense objects, objects that sometime bring pleasure and sometimes bring no pleasure. I speak the truth. Krsna, Krsna's eternal world, and the souls who love Krsna have placed in me the hankering to see Them.

91. When they hear of Goloka's wonderful glories, the people in numberless millions of material universes and even in the Vaikuntha worlds yearn to go there. What to speak of them, even Goddess Laksmi yearns to go to Goloka. Accompanied by His friends and kinsmen, Lord Krsna eternally enjoys glorious pastimes in Goloka. Again and again plunged in Goloka's sweetness, my heart yearns to go there.

92. Ah! What am I doing? I have rashly begun a description of Goloka. I do not see how I will have the power to complete my description.
