PADA: We heard he is not giving lectures for a year and there are rumors of "a fall down." We also heard he was depressed by Aindra's death. Anyway, these things may all be rumors, or maybe not. If anyone knows more please let us know. ys pd

  3. agree with you prabhu ,you should not publish just rumors that's not Vaisnava etiquette if we call ourselves devotees !!.they are just waiting and pointed out ohh you see that Maharaja fell down !! what a shame prabhus!! what a low mentality !!!,we should always remember that we were doing before being devotees and what are you doing to help or support when devotees are facing troubles? would you expect the same if you would in trubles ?or are you a liberated souls already?my obeisances Hare krsna

  4. Srila Prabhupada says, No one should claim to be a guru unless he is pure and fully liberated (uttama adhikary). Mahanidhi has been claiming to be a guru, but he is not yet liberated. He is not even Madhyama, which is the platform of freedom from sex desire (anartha nrvritti). That's all we are saying, first, be as pure as Jesus is, a pure devotee, then claim to be equal to Jesus AFTER being qualified. Same as brain surgeon, if one is the janitor in the hospital, then one must not claim to be the top surgeon in the hospital, then one is simply -- a CHEATER. ys pd

  5. Gurus are not facing these troubles, they are completely free of these troubles, otherwise, they are not gurus. ys pd

  6. I personally see that even the lowest materialistic people are more honest in their fallen condition, then most of the so-called gurus pretending to be on a very high level of self-realization. Srila Prabhupada wrote in Bhagavad-gita that to be a sincere sweeper in the street is far better than the charlatan meditator who meditates only for the sake of making a living. A sincere person who follows this method is far better situated than the false pretender who adopts show—bottle spiritualism to cheat the innocent public (see BG 3.7p).
So, therefore, let us regularly study, I repeat, not just read, but regularly study Bhagavad-gita As It Is. First study Bhagavad-gita only, practice it and realize it. Srila Prabhupada did not want the Lord Chaitanya's Hare Krishna movement to degrade itself into a position lower than that of the wild animals who even themselves have much more sense what has to be done, and what has not to be done, than most of these guru-charlatans. These days, unfortunately, so-called Hare Krishna movement, under the leadership of such people, sorry, lower than animals, is degrading people to become worse than the worst of the animals, instead of elevating them up. Such people do not even come up to the standard of becoming a human being, what to say about spiritual consciousness. Thanks to the few exceptions.
So, they must be exposed. If they are not exposed, more cheaters will come in their line. And the innocent public who follow them will fall down into hell along with them. Then, what is the point of being Hare Krishna. It is time to wake-up folks.

  7. Hare Krishna! Maharaja happens to be one of the purest souls on the planet. Perhaps it is Krishna's will that only the fortunate can realize this. But those who are only interested in this materialistic gossip and nonsense are going straight to hell!!!

  8. As long as one follows in the footsteps of previous acaryas he is considered a pure devotee. When he doesn't follow he is no more pure devotee. In Srimad-Bhagavatam, also, it is said that one should not become mother, father, teacher, king, or guru if he cannot save his subordinates from the repeated birth and death. Therefore to become a leader is a very responsible position. Only the most qualified persons should become leaders. One does not become a leader by an appointment or a vote from the similar unqualified so-called leaders of [F]ISKCON, but by one's high qualification only. One can judge by himself how much one has progressed in spiritual life. Nobody else can tell you whether you are advanced (pure) or not. So, the appointment or the vote mechanism of putting someone in a position does not in itself make one qualified to act responsibly in that position. Sincerity is the key of success. We can see from these incidents of many guru's fall-downs in [F]ISKCON that they are not sincere at all. The reason for this is only that these so-called gurus are disconnected from the current of Lord Krishna's mercy because of disobeying the instructions of Srila Prabhupada. And as the remaining flock of [F]ISKCON's so-called leaders continue to disobey the order of their Guru, it is only a matter of time when they will also fall-down, in this life or afterlife. So, better we don't associate with any of them, if we want to keep our present spiritual qualities intact, and not fall-down into hell along with them.

  9. "As long as one follows in the footsteps of previous acaryas he is considered a pure devotee. When he doesn't follow he is no more pure devotee...."

This is the amara ajnaya guru, is sanctioned by Srila Prabhupada, and causes a lot of trouble within Iskcon. The gbc has a managerial responsibily to deal with this serious issue in terms of policies. I can be an amara ajnaya guru also but don't have any desire in that type of service. Way to risky.
