UTTAMA-ADHIKARIS – OR – UTTAMA-APARADHIS?

Part 2 -of- 4

INSULTING AND FAULT FINDING – THE GREAT MAHAJANAS.

Note:  By 1979-1980, some leading bogus GBC guru program members started to experience some serious difficulties. Notwithstanding the tremendous amount of propaganda to promote the myth of the appointment; And that the original 11 were fully realized pure devotees, the weight of guru-aparadha and guror-avajna, started to manifest.

Note:  August 1980, Dallas, Texas. The leaders had to convene its "fire brigade" to calm the upheaval caused by the some of its deviated members, and they attempted to explain to the rank and file devotees, how an "appointed pure devotee" could possibly exhibit such material conditioning and deviant behaviors. Some of the prominent "living gurus" were already starting to fall down early on, into embarrassing manifestations of material conditioning or impurity, and they strained to "explain it all away" by singing of the eternal preceptor’s alleged character lapses.

For example, in their August 1980 GBC report, in an attempt to explain some deviant behaviors of some of the “living gurus” the living guru advocates alleged, "Even Bhishmadeva, who was one of the great Mahajanas or authorities in understanding Krishna consciousness, was affected by this materialistic association (of women and money). If even Bhishmadeva can be affected by materialistic association, then what to speak of ourselves."

Lest we be misled, Srila Prabhupada certifies Bhishma’s absolutely liberated status, "Sri Bhishmadeva is a great devotee of the Lord in the relation of servitorship (an eternally pure relationship with God)." (SB 1.9.34)

"As a Mahajana or authority he was on the level of Brahma, Narada and Shiva, although he was a human being. Qualification on a par with the great demigods is possible only by attainment of spiritual perfection." (SB 1.9.34)

Note; The 1980 G.B.C. report continued: “There are examples in the Srimad Bhagavatam of great devotees having difficulties… Lord Brahma was affected by sex attraction for his daughter.” (!)

But Srila Prabhupada establishes Lord Brahma’s liberated and pure status: "This extraordinary immorality on the part of Lord Brahma was heard to have occurred in some particular kalpa (epoch), but it could not have happened in the kalpa in which Brahma heard directly from the Lord the four essential verses of Srimad Bhagavatam, because the Lord benedicted Brahma, after giving him lessons on the Bhagavatam, that he would never be bewildered in any kalpa whatsoever. This indicates that before the hearing of Srimad Bhagavatam he might have fallen victim to such sensuality, but after hearing Srimad Bhagavatam directly from the Lord there was no possibility of such failures." (SB 3.12.28)

Note: When did Lord Brahma experience some apparent sex attraction? Before hearing the essential Bhagavatam verses. Yet the GBC failed entirely to mention that Lord Brahma’s illusion had occurred before he heard the Bhagavatam verses. The GBC implies, quite unfairly, that Brahma’s illusion occurred after he had heard the Bhagavatam and had become a liberated eternal preceptor guru.

Srila Prabhupada further explains, with brilliant clarity, the nature of Lord Brahma’s position in a letter, dated 23rd of March 1969, to Himavati devi dasi: "There are many other stories also, but such apparent falling is without any influence to very, very advanced devotees. A neophyte should always be careful. One should not discuss about such great devotee’s apparent fall-down. Just like one should not discuss about the sun who evaporates urine from the earth; it is possible for the sun to do it, and still remains the sun, but for ordinary man if he lives in a filthy place he will be infected. So Lord Shiva or Lord Brahma, they are highly elevated devotees, and we should not try to criticize about their behavior even though it appears against the rules."

"…So far Lord Brahma and his attraction for his daughter; this illustration should be taken by conditioned souls, that even a person like Brahma is sometimes victimized, how much careful we should be. Not that even Brahma was enticed, so we shall become enticed more and more. This is an example set for us by great devotees."

Note: It is thus clear that a progressing candidate on the path of devotional service must use the greatest caution while analyzing the exalted position of Brahma and other Mahajanas. It is obvious from the bogus GBC's writings that they did not understand the difference between an eternal associate of Krsna (nitya-parsada), and a regular sadhaka (practitioner in devotional service).

The GBC also claimed about another exalted liberated devotee, "Dhruva maharaja became overwhelmed by anger at the yakshas for killing his brother."

Srila Prabhupada clarifies, "Dhruva Maharaja was a liberated soul, and actually he was not angry with anyone, but because he was a ruler, it was his duty to become angry for some time in order to keep the law and order of the state." (SB 4.11.13)

Srila Prabhupada writes, "Dhruva Maharaja was a maha-bhagavata, or a first class pure devotee…" (SB 4.12.8)

"It is our duty to remember always that in comparison to Dhruva Maharaja, we are very insignificant. We cannot do anything like what Dhruva Maharaja did for self realization, because we are absolutely incompetent to execute such service." (SB 4.8.73)

And "By associating constantly with the Supreme Personality of Godhead in his heart, Dhruva Maharaja naturally became equal to the greatest, Brahman, by His association and thus he became the heaviest, and the entire universe trembled." (SB 4.8.78)

Note: The 1980 G.B.C. report even chides Arjuna, for outright “losing sight of Krishna”: “Arjuna had difficulties in the beginning of the battle of Kuruksetra, but it was due to his losing sight of Krishna, not because of his accepting a superior position to Krishna. It was Arjuna’s duty to accept the Supreme Lord as his chariot driver in his fight against Duryodhana’s forces.

Similarly, it is the duty of ISKCON’s initiating gurus to sit on their Vyasasanas (high seats meant for pure devotees) and defeat the ignorance of the age by their strong preaching. Some of our men may have difficulties, but their problems are due to their having lost sight of Krishna for the moment, not due to sitting on a Vyasasana.” The GBC’s rather boldly and impudently compared the abominable illicit activities manifest in their “living guru” project to the so-called illusions of Krishna’s eternally pure associates.

Note: As recently as January 7th 1990, while giving a Bhagavatam class, prior to a temple president’s meeting on the so-called guru issue, a “living guru” based in East India, (also one of the co-authors of the August 1980 GBC report) alleged that sometimes, for a few minutes, great eternally liberated guru devotees such as Bhishma and Arjuna fall under Mahamaya, the Lord’s deluding energy, which covers those who are envious of the Lord.

Yet Srila Prabhupada has very different things to say: "Arjuna conquered both sleep and ignorance because of his friendship with Krishna. As a great devotee of Krishna, Arjuna could not forget Krishna even for a moment, because that is the nature of a devotee. Either in waking or sleeping, a devotee of the Lord can never be free of thinking of Krishna’s name, form, qualities, and pastimes. Thus a devotee of Krishna can conquer both sleep and ignorance simply by thinking of Krishna constantly. That is called Krishna consciousness." (Unedited unrevised Bhagavad-Gita As It Is 1.24)

And Srila Prabhupada also writes of Arjuna, “His intelligence could not be polluted at any time, because he was a devotee and constant companion of the Lord, as is clear in the fourth chapter of Bhagavad-gita. Apparently Arjuna’s intelligence became polluted because otherwise there would not have been a chance to deliver the teachings of Bhagavad Gita for the good of all polluted conditioned souls engaged in material bondage by the conception of the false material body…” (SB 1.9.36)

Srila Prabhupada further illuminates Arjuna’s awesome liberated status: “Although Arjuna is with Krishna in innumerable different material universes at one time, still there is only one spirit soul who is Arjuna. This spiritual soul expands into many different bodies, and thus you can understand that there are also incarnations of devotees as well as incarnation of Krishna. This is the power of the spirit soul, that it is unlimited. Such conception cannot be understood while one is in the conditioned state.” (Letter, 12 December 1968)

Further, the concept that a pure devotee (fully realized) may forget Krishna, even for a moment, is not supported by Srila Prabhupada and the previous acharyas. “As indicated by the word satatam and nityasah, which mean ‘always,’ ‘regularly,’ or ‘every day,’ a pure devotee constantly remembers Krishna and meditates upon Him ...  A pure devotee cannot forget the Supreme Lord for a moment, and similarly the Supreme Lord cannot forget His pure devotee for a moment.” (Bhagavad-Gita As It Is 8.14

The Absolute Truth, or the Supreme Personality of Godhead, is realized by hearing about Him in all submission and love from a bona fide authority who is a representative of the twelve great authorities mentioned in the Srimad Bhagavatam. SB 3.5.31

It is not wonderful for persons who have accepted the transient material body as the self to engage always in deriding great souls. Such envy on the part of materialistic persons is very good because that is the way they fall down. They are diminished by the dust of the feet of great personalities.

Everything depends on the strength of the recipient. For example, due to the scorching sunshine many vegetables and flowers dry up, and many grow luxuriantly. Thus it is the recipient that causes growth and dwindling. Similarly, mahiyasam pada - rajo-’bhisekam: the dust of the lotus feet of great personalities offers all good to the recipient, but the same dust can also do harm. Those who are offenders at the lotus feet of a great personality dry up; their Godly qualities diminish.

A great soul may forgive offenses, but Krsna does not excuse offenses to the dust of that great soul’s feet, just as one can tolerate the scorching sunshine on one’s head but cannot tolerate the scorching sunshine on one’s feet. An offender glides down more and more; therefore he naturally continues to commit offenses at the feet of the great soul. Offenses are generally committed by persons who falsely identify with the impermanent body.

King Daksa was deeply engrossed in a misconception because he identified the body with the soul. He offended the lotus feet of Lord Siva because he thought that his body, being the father of the body of Sati, was superior to Lord Siva’s. Generally, less intelligent men misidentify in that way, and they act in the bodily concept of life. Thus they are subject to commit more and more offenses at the lotus feet of great souls. One who has such a concept of life is considered to be in the class of animals like cows and asses.

INSULTING AND THINKING THE ACARYA, SRILA PRABHUPADA AN ORDINARY MAN.

Don’t say so much ‘Prabhupada said’!

"You should not say so much ‘Prabhupada said’ you should say Goswami Maharaja said"!  ISKCON Guru from Dallas, Texas to a senior Prabhupada disciple, 1980. Central USA.

"Prabhupada was his kind of acarya and I am my kind of acarya." (GBC guru)

Note: By 1983, the living gurus continued its aparadha - buddhi mentality.  In the publication of the revised Bhagavad-Gita As it is, the editors and the founding members of the GBC guru project deleted Srila Prabhupada’s honorific title "Greatest exponent of Krishna Consciousness in the Western world."
Pictures of Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura Prabhupada, Srila Gaura Kishora Dasa Babaji, and Srila Jagannatha dasa Babaji were deleted by the editors.

SRILA PRABHUPADA AS ORDINARY MAN!

"Entering the room I see Prabhupada as ordinary, in my unloving eyes"!  ISKCON Guru from Potomac, Maryland and former GBC, December 14, 1985.

SRILA PRABHUPADA AN IDOL!

"Oh, the murti [Srila Prabhupada's murti] looks like an idol." ISKCON Guru from Potomac. Maryland, USA, and former GBC, December 14, 1985.

SEND HIM A LETTER AND…?

"Why don’t you send Prabhupada a letter and please tell us what he [Srila Prabhupada] replies.” ISKCON Guru-from Philadelphia, PA, USA, GBC January 14, 1990, San Diego, CA, USA right in front of Srila Prabhupada’s divine murti.

EVEN SRILA PRABHUPADA MADE MISTAKES?

“…Oh, even Prabhupada made mistakes. He even made mistakes…” ISKCON Sannyasi to two Srila Prabhupada disciples, ISKCON Tucson, AZ, USA, September 1992.

IS KRISHNA-LILA MYTHOLOGY?

“I confessed I battle constantly with doubts whether Krsna-Lila is mythological!”(18)   ISKCON Guru from Potomac, Maryland, USA, and former GBC “Here is Srila Prabhupada” pg. 56. 11.00 a.m.

Srila Prabhupada: The Supreme Lord can never be understood by irresponsible persons who think the pastimes of Radha and Krsna to be ordinary affairs. The rasa dance is arranged by Krsna’s internal potency yogamaya, and it is beyond the grasp of the materially affected person. Trying to throw mud into transcendence with their perversity, the sahajiyas misinterpret the sayings tat-paratvena nirmalam and tat-paro bhavet. By misinterpreting tadrsih kridah, they want to indulge in sex while pretending to imitate Lord Kṛṣṇa. But one must actually understand the imports of the words through the intelligence of the authorized gosvamis. Srila Narottama dasa Ṭhakura, in his prayers to the Gosvamis, has explained his inability to understand such spiritual affairs. Sri Caitanya-caritamrta – 1975 Edition  The Confidential Reasons for Lord Caitanya’s Appearance Adi 4.34

“…The froggish philosophers and mundane wranglers in science and mathematical calculation may not believe in the inconceivable potency of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, but they are sometimes puzzled by the wonderful jugglery of man and nature. Such jugglers and magicians of the mundane world are actually puzzled by the jugglery of the lording in His transcendental activities by saying it is all mythology… There is nothing impossible or mythological in the Supreme Omnipotent person.” Srimad-Bhagavatam 3.6.40

  1. This is yet another publication not meant to be read by those who want to remove the Hare Krishnas in Western countries.

[PADA: Its already been removed, there is very little left of the Krishna movement. The bogus ISKCON leaders already banished the devotees and essentially kicked the movement out of the West.]

Yes, there is an agenda who wants everything Hare Krishna kicked out of US.

[PADA: Right, making people worship illicit sex as messiahs, and then killing people who dissent from that evil process, will cause the movement to be discarded and kicked away by the mass of public and everyone interested in spiritual life, that is what most of the leaders wanted all along, they infiltered the movement to destroy it, that is what many think, we tend to agree.]

So article above is giving the non-Vaishnavas a nice manual, flint, how to do that, explaining to them in detail how this movement is bogus. At the same time ISKCON members are not changing by this type of revelation. This type of writings were published already at VNN era 15 years ago. PADA knows it, everybody knows it, nothing new. The only folks who read this are the non-Vaishnavas who conclude to kick all Hare Krishnas out of USA, including PADA. Non-Vaishnavas are like that. If you figure non-Vaishnavas send you money to help rectify ISKCON you are mistaken. They'll rather escort you to an Indian freight ship which brings you to Kolkatta/West Bengal with no return ticket, denied entry for US. That's why Prabhupada introduced istagosthi, there are topics which are not meant for on

[PADA: Right, so as soon as we have and instagosthi on ISKCON property, then their goondas will beat us up and they will call the police to have us arrested. We have to discuss all this outside because our lives are in peril discussing on their property. They do not allow any open discussion inside the movement, that is why there are hundreds of web sites exposing them outside the movement. ys pd]

  2. Prabhupada's "god-nephew" Narayana Maharaja has blasphemously stated Prabhupada gave only the abc's. Worse still, he said we have to go to him to get the higher rasas. Now Pada is hoping ISKCON will fail.

Prabhupada gave us the highest rasas in his books, and he told us to translate even more books by name. Why then did he start with other books, Caitanya Caritamrta for example, even before finishing Srimad Bhagavatam? Along with all the host of other books he translated? The answer is simple: he did not wish to encourage prakrta sahajiyas. In my honest opinion the Gaudiya Math has cashed in on this field. And the ritivks have cased in another, fault finding. They themselves admit they are fallen, they think all others everywhere else are fallen, and so they justify starting a movement where no one can presently folllow except for Srila Prabhupada himself! But Prabhupada did not state such a movement should exist. He wanted all of his disciples to become gurus.

When one tells a ritviks that Prabhupada said he wanted his disciples to become guru they cleverly say, "Ah, but Prabhu! No one is QUALIFIED to become guru!". Thus, becoming judge jury and executioner, they spread their rhetoric far and wide so that just the other day I was chatting to someone on the internet, and although they knew nothing of the Hare Krishnas, within seconds they came back at me telling me all about how corrupt the movement was. The legacy of the riviks is that the only thing they will be known for is how badly they ruined Srila Prabhupada's good and honest reputation, as well as that of Lord Krishna's. They are good for nothings.

  3. They are deviants! Right from the start back in 1978 they deviated by disobeying Srila Prabhupada on just about everything he ordered as to how his Iskcon should be managed and carried on. I know first hand about much of what Pada is talking about because I happened to be there when the whole zonal guru thing was going on, and I personally witnessed many things that even to my neophyte understanding back then, just didn't seem right. I joined the movement in the mid 70's at the 55th st. NY temple and as such, given that this
particular temple was of a certain predominance in those days, I had the opportunity of meeting every single one of the then so-called 11 "successor acharyas". And not only them, I also knew and served closely with some who later became so-called "gurus". Therefore, I totally agree with Pada that none of those from back then. None of those who were selected afterwards. None of those who are now active and none of the ones who may come up in the future has or will ever reach the status of an uttama-adhikari-bhakta, which is the qualification required to be a bonafide deliverer of the fallen souls in this age. Lord Caitanya's causeless mercy can be forwarded only through the agency of a very rare, magnanimous, transcendental and pure personality, such as His Divine Grace, A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. My humble obeisances to all Prabhupadanugas, and everyone else. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. Jai Nitai-Gauranga! Hare Krsna!
