[PADA: Some ISKCON ex-gurukulis are joining with PADA (and many others) to prove that these unauthorized book changes by Jayadvaita swami are bogus. These ex-kulis are starting a web site to discuss this topic exclusively, and they are going to use some of the quotes, proofs and examples that we used a long time ago in the 1980s to show how these changes are altering the actual siddhanta.
They also wanted some information from the 1990s lawsuit that PADA helped launch by our hammering on this issue in our newsletters for years together, and eventually getting enough people to take notice of this crisis. We were meeting with the steering committee on this lawsuit all along in Los Angeles when this was all being put together, and many of the quotes and proofs we used in our newsletters -- were later used in that lawsuit. Anyway, the lawsuit really started to create a big focus on the issue and it has spread like wildfire from there.
This is really good news, some of these second generation devotees are starting to realize that these bogus gurus have totally mis-represented Srila Prabhupada's teachings and they are now altering his books to make even further alterations. Notice below that the book changes issue is a big topic on the current Bangalore news. Yep, our idea of stopping these book changes is taking off, big time!
