Dutch woman was murdered in Vrndavana

Jagandananda dasa: Sarveshwari Dasi, Vrinda Devi's daughter-in-law, reports that the post-mortem showed she was indeed murdered. The cremation is to take place today by the Yamuna. Unfortunately I do not yet have a time or location. We hope the Dutch government will pressure the Indian authorities to find the culprits and bring them to justice.

Vrinda devi, or Bodhavatie Ori is my mother. My family and I are coming to India.

We knew our mother as a most happy person, whose only purpose in life was to do Bhakti. This is why she stayed in the holy place Vrindavan. She was also a yoga teacher and (grand) mother of 2 children. She loved to travel, listen to bhajan. She was a great woman. My whole family is therefore very sad to know that she died, we could never imagine that something like this could happen to a humble bhakta like her.

I know my mother very well; suicide was never an option for her. She loved life, she loves her Banke Biharijee.
