This is partially in response to some of Kesava Ksna's points in his last few articles. He is saying that the editorial contributors of this site are dwelling in the past and focusing on these negative things that happened long ago. Those who do not know the past are doomed to repeat it.
As I have stated in a past article, Radhanath Swami is a threat to the future of ISKCON. His deviations are so severe that they are blasphemous to Srila Prabhupada. The instructions that were given by Hari Vilas on how devotees should behave and dress at Radhanath Swami's appearances were extremely disturbing. Devotees were threatened that "strict action" will be taken against them if they violated any of the rules laid down for his appearance. This is not at all surprising based on Radhanath's dark past. Strict action was also taken against Sulocana, and there is ample evidence indicating that Radhanath was involved in his murder, but that's just in the past, right?
Have a devotee murdered because he was blowing the whistle on a child molester, but that's just in the past… forgive and forget. If Radhanath was capable of being a part of murder, how do you know more people won't be silenced in the future?
Kesava Ksna was saying Rocana Prabhu shouldn't publish articles like this because they destroy devotee's faith in their guru. If I was about to surrender to Radhanath or was initiated by him, I would want someone to tell me what he is really about. Surely he will not be able to take me back to Godhead. If you were living in an apartment building and there was a murderer living on the floor below you, wouldn't you want someone to tell you? If you were about to invest money with someone who was a conman, wouldn't you want someone to tell you? The Nectar of Instruction clearly states that one should be careful to only accept an uttama-adhikari as a guru. Does anyone know of any uttama-adhikaris in our parampara who protected and propped up a child molester like Kirtanananda? Radhanath glorified Kirtanananda as a pure devotee as late as 1993. Is an uttama-adhikari in such illusion? I think not!
Radhanath counts so many Mayavadis as his teachers: Dalai lama, atheist; Mother Theresa, a cow eater who herself admitted that she is not even sure if God existed; and how could we forget Neem Karoli Baba, who said that Krishna is dead? I challenge anyone to name any acarya in our Gaudiya Parampara who has glorified Mayavadis and accepted them as teachers, or siksa gurus. Lord Chaitanya said if one even sees a Mayavadi he should bathe in the Ganga, but Radhanath does kirtan with them and smiles and poses for photos.
When asked about Srila Prabhupada he says simply, he is one of my teachers. One of my teachers? In our tradition, the Guru is the life and soul of the devotee. Without Guru's mercy one cannot make advancement. If Guru is pleased, then Krishna is pleased. Does Radhanath Swami really think Srila Prabhupada is pleased with him? Does he really care? I don't think so. He just used Srila Prabhupada as a stepping stone to launch his guru career.
We see so much interfaith and new age nonsense with Radhanath Swami. Kirtanananda failed miserably with his interfaith experiment. Now we see this nonsense being propagated on a larger scale. So many people are being fooled by this Mayavadi in the guise of a Vaishnava. It is said in the Padma Purana that if one accepts mantras from a Guru who is not a Vaishnava, he goes to hell. People must be warned about Radhanath -- the spiritual lives of thousands are in danger. The whole ISKCON society is being polluted by the deviations of Radhanath Swami. Hearing from such a person will not purify anyone, it will only further bewilder them.
So Kesava Krsna has said that we should be part of the solution. Would he mind telling us how? Anyone who voices their opinion in ISKCON and speaks out against these deviations is immediately ostracized from the temple. So what is Kesava Ksna's solution for that? the Sampradaya Sun is the only place where we can voice our opinions in an open forum.
I knew Radhanath was a fraud from day one, the first time I saw him. The first thing that came to mind was ok, why is he talking like that? It seemed so fake to me. I couldn't understand why he was talking like that, and why people were falling for it. If so many are being fooled, is it not our duty as Vaishnavas to warn them from surrendering to such a false guru? Should we not warn them to not hear from such a person? So now it is only through this and other sites that people can really find out about Radhanath and others who are clearly not representing Srila Prabhupada.
Sadly, we see history repeating itself. The Bhakti center in New York's Lower East Side is staffed with 95% Radhanath Swami disciples. The classes are given in the same way Radhanath preaches -- little mention of Krishna, Prabhupada, or the Maha mantra. Radhanath Swami seems to think his way of preaching is better than the original formula given by Srila Prabhupada. Just like Kirtanananda thought his way was also more effective. This is proof that Radhanath is not in line with Srila Prabhupada. Just like Prabhupada said, the Spiritual master doesn't manufacture anything new, he is like a peon. He just delivers the message as he received it from his spiritual master.
Once at the Bhakti Center, Srila Prabhupada's Murti and Vyasasan were moved to the back from the front of the temple room, so Radhanath could sit in his place and give class. As I said before, Radhanath thinks he is the next acarya. Kirtanananda declared himself as the world acarya, and we see history repeating itself.
So we are part of the solution. We are waking people up so they can realize not to surrender to this bogus pretender, otherwise their spiritual lives will be destroyed. Will the GBC wake up and do something about this?
