Question for Rochana and Sampradaya Sun web site (ISKCON) ys pd

Dear Prabhus.

Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

New evidence, new realizations and new arguments are always in existence, regardless of one's limited senses. Rochon Dasa would have you believe in his report that he has given you everything you need to know about the article I wrote and the challenge I made to him. However, as you can see he does not give you the title of the article I wrote for fear that independent thinkers may search for it and discover something "new", while seeing through his muddied representation of what I presented.

Nor does he include the question I asked. He left that out and the question being asked does not have to be qualified first via guru, sadhu, sastra, that is absolutely ridiculous. That I told him after he agreed to the posted "realization" of mine with no qualification of guru, sadhu, sastra. Then re reneged. I told him he was too late, and he was. He and the Sun cannot answer the question. I proposed the question and I proposed the result if the question was not answered. Both he left out from his response.

He does not deny  the article's conclusion, that Sampradaya Sun rejects the July 9th 1977 letter by his spiritual master. By not quoting the actual bona fide question he is misrepresenting this truth to his readers. Here is the "original" question:

Now the question is: Where, using guru, sadhu, sastra is the proof that the July 9th 1977 letter has a time limit, what is the time limit and where is that indicated within or without the letter?

Rochon Dasa: "There is as much evidence that "henceforward" referred to "while I am here" is there is evidence to the contrary." He has never posted such evidence, otherwise we would have countered it. This is from a discussion we had on line that will quite likely be quoted more and more in the near future.
He demands evidence from others and has never presented a real paper with guru, sadhu, sastra in it...only his opinions., his beliefs and his “I thinks”.

Below was my further instruction regarding my question.

"If you do not accept the July 9th 1977 directive from Srila Prabhupada as valid in any way then you may abstain from the question."

“Therefore by abstaining from the question as posted above you have officially admitted that you do not accept the July 9th 1977 directive from Srila Prabhupada as valid..in total.”

The Sampradaya Sun cannot possibly engage in a debate with anyone about what they believe Srila Prabhupada wanted until they officially recognize Srila Prabhupada’s July 9th letter and it’s full contents, as well as it’s direct relationship with the May 28th 1977 conversation with the GBC. Not being able to provide evidence of a time limit means accepting “henceforward” to mean what it says.

The audacity is beyond comprehension and shows a great lack of faith in Srila Prabhupada and Krsna.  Here, a pure soul is sent by God, Krsna to come to the material world to serve Lord Caitanya, he writes and translates volumes of books with Krsna’s personal direction,
writes letters, directs massive business deals, creates temples all over the world, makes thousands of disciples, even to this day people surrender to his lotus feet….and Rochon Dasa believes that Srila Prabhupada somehow made a mistake with his July 9th 1977 final directive!?

If he can, as he thinks he can, defeat me in a debate then why does he not start by providing evidence of a time limit for the July 9th letter and evidence for this….."There is as much evidence that "henceforward" referred to "while I am here" is there is evidence to the contrary."

I would be easy to debate and defeat, I am not a pundit but then again we must remember…"One who has unflinching faith in the Supreme Lord and the spiritual master, all the purports of the scriptures become revealed."

To operate a first class web site employing a first class staff means that one must have first class skills but that also means that one must understand that the world deserves first class representation from such a site. The responsibility to see that this most serious discussion takes place in an open forum falls on those who understand it’s seriousness, those who do not understand it’s seriousness do not understand Srila Prabhupada.

An open question to Rochon Dasa and the Sampradaya Sun.

“It would be very interesting to know what arrangements Srila Prabhupada made for initiations for the aftermath of his departure, what arrangements did he make? The whole world needs to know, at this point it is an honest question to those we know have the skills to help the world.

Ys Hasti Gopala Dasa
