Please accept my humble obeisances, I am a somewhat new devotee. At first, I was introduced to Srila Prabhupada's books by a dear friend and great devotee. Krishna not only blessed me with Prabhupada's books but most fortunately discovering lectures by Srila Narayan Maharaj. But my question is this: Should I be initiated by any Guru of either movement? Or should I just take the shelter of Krishna and both Maha-Bhagavatas and steer clear of both movements (ISKON & IPBYS)? I am very aware of the problems / scandals in ISKON and the storm brewing on this side of the fence as explained by the article. I am very afraid and confused as to what to do. All I know for sure is I truly love Lord Krishna, want to give my life to Him & serve Him, spiritually advance and return back home to Him. I am not exactly sure how to do this with the terrors Maya unleashed on us and new enough to never have been initiated. Could somebody please help me??

It is very simple, if you are sincere.
Srila Prabhupada has put everything in writing.
He said nobody of his Godbrotehrs is fit to be an Acharya, so Narayana Maharaja and his Guru are both cheaters(they are Sattva Guna Brahmins, so unlike the GBC Gurus they do not have illicit sex with men,women and children, but only a pure devotee like Srila Prabhupada can be Diksha Guru and not some ordinary brahmin)

DO NOT TRUST THESE SO CALLED ADVANCED DEVOTEES! THEY ARE 99% MISLEAD BY THE BOGUS GURUS AND WILL LIE TO YOU. FOLLOW SRILA PRABHUPADA's WRITINGS!
