Tragic Gurukulis 

SR: Sad to say, but ITV's Nrisimhananda’s stepson Jiva was one of the Gurukulis that committed suicide. Jiva had a fundamentalist Christian father and was torn between two worlds, but there was also in my view, missing love and affection from his devotee family. So maybe he’s not the best judge of what it takes to successfully raise children in Iskcon.

BD: So sad. 

PADA: And the daughter of the ISKCON lawyer died evidently of drug overdose, some say it was a suicide. One ex-New Vrndanan "enforcer" had his son commit suicide right here in San Francisco under a bridge. And these are the people who want us to listen to them when it comes to child care?

When Westeners tried talking to him about physical attraction and other nonsense he'd heard in their pop songs, he always gave the same explanation: ''What sounder foundation could a marriage have than devotion to Krishna? Surely, Krishna is a stronger bond than you transitory feelings?"

But the letters of marriage problems proved that the devotees had simply not advanced far enough. Prabhupada sliced the flap of the first envelope with an engraved silver letter opener given to him by one of his eager secretaries.
He ran his eye down the page: another complaining husband.

Prabhupada sighed and slit open another envelope. Here was a letter from a devotee in Chicago reporting that the temple president had delivered a speech saying that the number of devotees the movement attracted was no longer important. Prabhupada shook his head. This is all nonsense. The president was in maya.

So many were in maya.

''This is too much for one sick old man to handle,'' he said to his secretary, who was still standing by his side. "If only Krishna had sent me help in the form of one enlightened devotee. But none of these boys has experienced samadhi, none is advanced enough to be my successor.''

Then, he smiled at the irony. Maybe it was just as well. If there was only one successor, the others would surely gang up to destroy the man. Prabhupada once again rang his bell. Another devotee entered. 

''I will take massage now,'' he said, placing himself on the massage table. "As I once called Kirtanananda "Kitchenananda," I should call myself 'Problempada.' ''

The masseur didn't respond.

PADA: About right. If there had been one actual "pure devotee successor," the other guys certainly would have ganged up on him to destroy him. I am by no means "the successor," nor would I ever even want to be -- considering how dangerous that would be. Yet certainly many of my God brothers ganged up on me to harass me, ban me, stop me, and collude with the GBC's gangsters. A number of them wanted me destroyed and disappeared. Many of them still tell me "you are bogus, we need to worship the living person" blah blah blah. They never got it. They never wanted to get it.

ISKCON's ME TOO movement!

KKD: A trickle of written experiences of abuse in Mayapur have surfaced recently. It could lead us to wonder if this is the beginning of ISKCON’s own "Me Too" moment for males and females.

Even if an avalanche of revelations clutter the narrative of devotee chatter and bugs the top leaders as well, it’s best not to get enthused about prospects for reform or improvement. Things will probably remain the same. 

Here’s why. In normal society, Me Too victims have more of a chance to prosecute high profile perpetrators because the justice system is separate from governmental interference. It’s still difficult for victims to go through lengthy legal processes, but the chances are available. An independent judiciary allows it.

In ISKCON, both the CPO and justice ministry are under GBC control. Such control would forestall any potential for free and fair due process. An avalanche of revelations will stutter. No independent justice or CPO equals no fair chances at addressing abuse cases. The odds are stacked against attempts for justice when the GBC has full or partial control.

An avalanche might cause choppy waves, but not much more than that. Other strategies are required, otherwise we’re simply paddling in the shallow waters of repetitive inaction and Me Too stays a fantasy.

PADA: Yep, one devotee said that after 45 years of contrived banning, beating, molesting, suing and killing devotee dissenters, the ISKCON leaders have simply invested too much time and effort in making their molester messiah's system work. There is no turning back now for one powerful reason, to admit that this was all a big lie would mean legal implications.

How I wish that I never became a guru,

O Kirtan, Tamal, Sats, Bhavananda and Ram,
The two Jayas, Hriday, Hari, Bhaga and Hans,
They all longed for glory and power and fame,
By placing themselves ahead of the Lord's Holy Name!

PADA: Yep, the first ones now will later be last. I feel bad for them, because Sri Isopanisad says -- false acharyas go to the most obnoxious regions. Imagine what happens to these people -- who orchestrated banning, beating, molesting, suing and murders of vaishnavas. They are just going down to the bottom of the barrel level, and they will be the insects we find under the barrels. I do not wish anyone to be cursed, but they have cursed themselves.

KAILASA Update

PADA: Yep, after Kailasa ran off with half the money from the sale of the Berkeley farm, and half the cows, everyone said he wrangled his way into being a manager of the farm so he could steal the ISKCON's money just like the GBC gurus, and the cows ended up being kidnapped and he evidently had no plans to care for them. 

You never see him with these cows, and evidently you never will. He lied when he said he was going to care for them. Everyone said he is another cheater and ISKCON exploiter like all the rest of them. And never mind everyone was already fried with him for mistreating women. And now he says "there are no examples of anyone worshiping a pure devotee and Krishna who are dead, post mortem, and rigor mortis" because he thinks pure devotees and Krishna are post mortem, while his living bag of stools is the only authorized source of speaking. 

We are not desperate at all, Kailasa exposed himself as another ISKCON money grabbing, cow kidnapping misogynist, and he has no respect here at all. Of course the ISKCON money grabbing, cow kidnapping and misogynists are attracted to him, but they are the extreme minority these days. And that explains why the GBC were handing out KD's papers, great minds think alike, and so do bad ones. Misognyists love other misogynists, and that is going on among ISKCON leaders, and among the people who act like them. ys pd

OM: "As Kailasa-Chandra indicated above, neither Sulochan nor his best friend Puranjana were considered strict devotees. Eric Johanson (formerly Vrindaban-Chandra Maharaja), a disciple of Hamsadutta who served at the Berkeley temple, recalled, “It was a well known fact around Berkeley temple that Puranjana dasa was a staunch critic of the zonal acharyas. Puranjana dasa and Sulochan dasa were [also] well known around the Berkeley temple for watching TV and not being all that serious about sadhana, spiritual practice.”

However, due to Kailasa-Chandra’s association, Sulochan became stricter about following the Vaishnava sadhana and again began chanting on beads, eight rounds daily.

PADA: Which is how Kailasa helped get Sulochana killed, by saying Sulochan was a "not following" TV watching fringie, which is what the GBC people said. We had no TVs, this is total fabrication. He was living in a van, he had no electricity even. 

And the person giving this testimony, Eric Johanson, was worshiping Hansadutta, who was drinking Vodka, taking percodans, and he was having affairs with half dozen women. Surely we should listen to his version as full truth. And this is what you guys think is "strictly following" -- worshiping a sexual predator drunk, who said Kirtanananda is the only pure devotee on the planet. 

Kailasa was not in Berkeley helping Sulochana, he was on the farm plotting on taking money and cows, and he did. Kailasa and his followers were painting Sulochan as a crazy fringie, to make him a target ... and they still are saying he was a TV fringie ... and that is why the GBC loves KD's writings ...

PADA: I have nothing to expose of myself? The CBS newslady told me, the GBC / BVKS "guru" is covered with the hands of boys, because this is a pedo-worship cult, she is evidently more advanced than all the ISKCON leaders put together, and she is not even a vegetarian. I am equal to someone like her, at least I have some standards. 

I never said people who eat hamburgers are without sins, I said they have less sins than the GBC guys because they do not worship deviants and pedos. And Om is citing Eric Johanson, who was worshiping Hansadutta, a drunk who was having affairs with half dozen women, nice authorities you guys got here! ys pd
