PADA: It is amazing that an important geographical state for Vaishnavism (West Bengal) has become a place where the Ratha yatra festival is constantly on the verge of being attacked, stopped if not outlawed.
A devotee was recently commenting to me that the ISKCON GBC has been doing worse than what the Muslim invaders tried to do. The bogus GBC not only stopped the harinama process in most cities, they also thoroughly discredited the religion in public mass media by making hokey gurus. They are thus far worse for the Krishna religion than what the Muslim invaders did -- at least that is what this devotee concluded. ys pd
