Vaikuntha Balaka Maha Yagna (Alachua)

My name is Maha Visnu Das. This three hour Vaikuntha Balakah Maha Yajna is to help heal the 400 Vaikuntha Children who experienced abuse in Gurukulas worldwide. This is not a fundraising or political event. It is an event to acknowledge, remember and honor others.

PADA: ISKCON has created its own tempest in a tea cup. In 1978 I told the GBC Srila Prabhupada is going to be the guru of my children, and they are never going to bow down to the three foot high photo of Jayatirtha here at the manor. The leaders and -- even many parents -- were fighting with me. And they said no, we have to hand off our children to another guru. 

OK so I was then called a demon because I sent my kids to public schools. But right now, my kids believe in Krishna and Srila Prabhupada -- and they are lifetime vegetarians etc. Meanwhile, their peer kids -- who went wandering off the reservation to find another guru -- and who live around here in San Francisco area -- were often starved, beaten, molested, and treated horribly by their "guru-school" program. 

And right now, a number of them despise Krishna and / or ISKCON and some of them eat meat. In other words, sending our kids off to another guru is called speculation and gambling, and if we lose, we lose our kids. And we did lose almost all of them by this gambling with their lives process. I prefer not to gamble with other people's lives, especially children's. So I was warning in 1979 that Srila Prabhupada told us, if we mistreat or misdirect these children we will lose them, and I and Srila Prabhupada are right. 

Our own ISKCON members and especially the leaders created our own problems. Now we think those same leaders who orchestrated all this are going to fix the mess -- they made? Probably not. At the same time, my solution to have people worship the acharya is gaining steam, and now, many other parents are telling their children what I told mine. ys pd
