Narasimha Prayers For Troubled Times (Bangalore ISKCON)

 Hare Krishna ,

Please accept the blessings of Sri Prahlada Narasimha. We hope this letter meets you in good health.

During this pandemic, many people are requesting us to pray for their dear ones. We understand their anxiety and appreciate the implicit faith they have in the Lord’s protection.  We are seeking Lord Narasimha’s intervention to alleviate the suffering of these pious souls and bless them with good health, peace and happiness.

The revealed scriptures declare that the Supreme Lord is the sole maintainer and protector of every living entity. We must submit to Him and take His shelter, especially in the current times. The Lord will protect one who constantly prays to Him with sincerity and faith - ‘rakshishyati iti vishvasah’.

Narasimhadeva is known as Bhakta-Vatsala, the benefactor of His devotees. The monks of ISKCON Bangalore recently conducted an elaborate fire sacrifice and offered selected Vedic hymns to Prahlada Narasimha for the welfare of everyone. These powerful mantras are called the ABHAYAM prayers, which bestow fearlessness and inner strength to anyone who hears or chants them.

We have made these prayers available on the ISKCON Bangalore YouTube channel. In our specially produced videos, you can read the verses and participate in the rhythmic chanting and singing of the prayers. By reciting the ABHAYAM prayers regularly, you will invite positive vibrations into your homes and fill your hearts with spiritual bliss. We are receiving several messages from grateful devotees all over the world who are benefitting from the prayers.

We have given the link to the videos containing the ABHAYAM prayers below. The holy chants will help you overcome fear and experience the Lord’s divine protection. We request you to watch this video every day and pray along. Your family and friends can also join in the prayers. Meditation on Lord Narasimha will surely bring all auspiciousness to your lives.

Yours in the service of Sri Prahlada Narasimha,

Team ISKCON Bangalore
