ISKCON Guru Lokanath Attacking Jesus (Again)

Lokanath follower V Dasa: How many things went wrong with Christianity? How many Priests were caught having affairs? So what do you people think when they hear of Christianity? They think of lord Jesus Christ. Incidents happen in all organizations, some haters can’t see the good work many sanyasis and Brahmacharis in iskcon did to the world, they just see the spots and spread venom.

SD V Dasa: First you say Lokanath did not do it, then you said he did it and his disciples are fine with it. These are contradictions. Please step away from this conversation unless you have something meaningful to add.

PADA: Wow! Lokanath is teaching his followers that the falling down, or the drunken priest, are also another messiah? V Dasa says that the Christians also have fall downs, but they are still a big religion. Well yes, but that is because the Christians are saying their acharya is a pure devotee -- but their people who are falling down are -- conditioned souls. OK Bhagavad Gita 9:30 struggling neophytes. So priest is maybe getting drunk, the priest is maybe having sex with a congregation member, and that means -- he is another messiah like Jesus? What is Lokanath teaching people here?

When I was a kid I went to a Catholic Bingo festival with my mother, and I noticed the priest was sneaking behind a pillar. So I snuck around and saw him pull out an alcohol flask from his inside pocket, and he was drinking alcohol, and maybe he was an alcoholic. OK, but I never thought, their acharya Jesus is also drinking and he too is an alcoholic?

V Dasa is mixing up apples and oranges here. The acharya level is not touching young girls while reading the Krishna book, nor is the acharya level category drinking from an alcohol flask, etc. He is juxtaposing both levels simultaneously. That is intentionally trying to smoke and mirrors the whole point, acharyas are not conditioned souls, nor are child touching deviants acharyas.

So they are trying to say that the priest might deviate, and acharyas also deviate. And that is why Lokanath's program all the time says -- the Christians are "the bogus ritviks." Why is Lokanath attacking the worship of Jesus by his followers? Srila Prabhupada says -- Jesus is my brother, we should give all respect to Jesus, and he said so many respectful things about Jesus. He also said that Jesus' worship conducted by the priests in the Church is a bona fide system.

Srila Prabhupada never attacks the worshipers of Jesus as "the bogus ritviks." Yes, the Christians have many scandals, but they never say their guru is involved in their scandals. Lokanath's program's deviants are given huge titles like Vishnupada, Krishnapada, Acharyapada, Gurupada, Prabhupada Kripa Maharaja, and all the rest of it. That means they are telescoping conditioned souls with the level of acharyas / Jesus.

Lokanath program is not saying the conditioned soul priest is falling down, they are saying the guru successors to God / Krishna's acharyas / parampara members / and / or persons equal to Jesus are falling down. And one of the followers of Lokanath swami wrote to complain to me that I am attacking the person who is "taking their sins" -- i.e. Lokanath is another Jesus? You guys are conflating conditioned souls -- with acharyas and Jesus -- and the sum total of the demigods and etc.

Even recently Lokanath was again attacking the worship of Jesus as the bogus ritvik idea. And he told his followers to avoid the bogus ritviks, self evidently because they worship pure devotees -- and not people who are reading Krishna book to a little girl while pervertedly touching that little girl.

Lokanath has no authority to attack another person's bona fide guru like this, it is very sinful to try to take away a person's bona fide guru like Jesus from his followers. Srila Prabhupada never attacks the worship of Jesus, rather he offers all respects to the worship of Jesus and he says they are in the process of trying to attain love of God and so we should respect them. Oooops, maybe the GBC ilk don't like the followers of Jesus because their police saved me from being whacked by their GBC guru process?

Anyway at least one media person is reading all this stuff now, maybe more. So although they say they do not want to have another big media scandal, they are clearly asking for one.

D Dasa: It is disconcerting to note the disinterest and confusion Lokantha's supporters show over the topic of child abuse. This was just posted -- an email communication. It was originally an email communication from Basu Ghosh to members of the GBC.

In it, Basu Ghosh has said…

"These issues are taken every seriously in the West, for the past several decades, and the sexual abuse of children by Priests of the Catholic Church has cost the Church in the USA and Europe literally billions of dollars in punitive damages that do not exist in the Indian legal system."

The topic of "child sexual abuse" is a "live wire" over here (I am presently in the USA)!”

In reference to the GBC’s “version” of events, Badrinarayan dasa said the following in a private correspondence in 1999…

“It was more than this. His (referring to Lokanatha Swami) hand was palm down, it was over her private area, he moved it away when the mother or other family member came in the room and then moved it back when they left. The girl moved his hand and he moved it back. I want to let Lokanath Maharaj off the hook and I know this is a disaster for him, but with this version, I think we (including Maharaj) may all lose whatever credibility and good will we have left.”

Lokanatha’s admission of guilt wasn’t even composed by him!

If accumulating wealth and distinction are the true moral, and ethical principles of ISKCON then I fear the entire institution and not just one man has fallen. These cases should be rectified before more is lost.

WE HAVE TO WORSHIP ILLICIT SEX WITH MEN, WOMEN AND CHILDREN DEVIANTS AS MESSIAHS, ACCORDING TO TIME, PLACE AND CIRCUMSTANCE? REALLY!

  1. LD: Oh swell. Lets ban, beat and kill the bogus ritviks ... and empty out ISKCON ... and molest kids ... and bankrupt the place. And lets give Krishna a horrible name. ISKCON will have a terrible reputation.

Lets say Jesus and his followers are the bogus ritviks. But when our guru is in trouble ... he is just another Christian - like ritvik priest ... who can fall down?

What is going on with these people? You mean after all the beating and killing people ... they were ritviks all along? Oh man ... these people are twisting things. Again! Now they were ritviks the whole time? But you created a nightmare of false Jesus in the meantime.

How can they be a bunch of false Jesus ... and falling down priest ritviks ... all at the same time? They just say whatever they can try out to keep the foolish fooled for another few weeks ... they just toss crap on the wall and see if it sticks. That is all so they can keep the money flowing in for a few more days. This is all about money ... and has been the whole while. We are ritviks ... see ... we were just fooling you when we said we are another Jesus!

That does not explain all the empty temples and molested kids and dead bodies now does it? They are just trying to say they were with us all the time ... when in reality they have a hate campaign against us the whole time. What cheaters! Mother Earth can tolerate the weight of the heaviest mountain ... but she feels stress holding the weight of these liars and cheaters!

  2. "Jesus Christ was such a great personality—the son of God, the representative of God. He had no fault. Still, he was crucified. He wanted to deliver God consciousness, but in return they crucified him—they were so thankless. They could not appreciate his preaching. But we appreciate him and give him all honor as the representative of God.
Of course, the message that Christ preached was just according to his particular time, place, and country, and just suited for a particular group of people. But certainly he is the representative of God. Therefore we adore Lord Jesus Christ and offer our obeisances to him."
