One of the world's largest Hindu temples, built completely of Italian marble at an estimated cost of USD 18 million will be inaugurated next week in New Jersey, which has one of the biggest population of Indian Americans in the US.
Varalakshmi Vratam in 52,000 Temples from Aug 8 to 10
VIJAYAWADA: The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) and Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishath (HDPP) will jointly conduct ‘Mana Gudi’ programme in 52,000 temples across the state from August 8 to 10 as part of which, ‘Varalakshmi Vratham’ will be performed in all the district centres aside from special poojas and temple cleaning works.

Tirupati: The TTD after successfully converting gold received through offerings into gold deposits, is now contemplating to dispose about 40 tonnes of ‘foreign coins’ piled up at the TTD treasury over the years.
