Please Pray for Nartaka Gopala (A Dasi)

A DASI: I just got off the phone with my dear sister Nartaka Gopala so here's the latest update on her health:

She's doing much better after her surgery and following the direction of her doctors. Nevertheless, I'm asking everyone to continue to chant and keep her in your prayers.

Any one of us could die at any moment and when we are diagnosed with a serious disease like cancer we must take it as a direct delivery of a letter from Yamarāja and act accordingly as everyday brings us closer to death. Please offer prayers for our God-sister

Her Grace Nartaka Gopala Devi Dasi: She is in 3rd stage colon cancer.

PADA: This does seem like a serious issue -- not being discussed much. Satsvarupa has cancer, Madi has cancer, Ramadevi had cancer, Saragrahi had cancer, Kadamba Kanana swami had cancer, so-called big devotees like Narayan Maharaja had cancer, and going back to Buddhimanta, Tribhuv -- and many others -- all of them had cancer, and so on and so forth. 

Even the "health nut" devotee -- who used to be on my case and complain I was not eating a raw diet of carrots all the time -- died of fatal illness -- and that was decades ago. That does not include the list of so many other devotees who died untimely from many other issues. Of course Jayapataka looks like a basket case too, because he is doing things he is forbidden to do -- like taking on karma.  

I do believe my Mormon nurse friend, it is an epidemic in the Krishna community. The causes I believe are various -- but stress, and maybe -- eating food offered to deviants, which my ex-witch friend says -- will cause contamination in the body's organs etc. -- could be major contributing factors. My Mormon nurse friend thinks probably -- the main cause of death for so many devotees is, they are dying of a broken heart, that their religion was trashed so badly. That is entirely possible.

In any case, let us pray for this soul and hope she has as good as possible outcome. Somone else just wrote to tell PADA, the widespread neglect of care for the sick and elderly in ISKCON is proof of a society that is -- dysfunctional. Ya think! It looks like some folks are trying to help her, and if you can do something more to help, that would be nice as well. 

I wish these people well, and unfortunately, I have seen this situation evolve -- way too many times. I know all this mess is now in Krishna's hands, but we should not have made this mess in the first place -- and then put our mess into His hands -- to force Him to have to sort it out for us. In any case, God speed to this spirit soul, good luck.
