The Greater ISKCON (by Dina)

Hi

I was reading this article and felt inspired to pen a reply:

http://krishna1008.blogspot.in/2013/12/srila-prabhupadas-devotees-exiled.html

However, when i was trying to post it, it said only 'team members' could post....

[PADA: Right, you can submit comments or essays to angel108b@yahoo.com]

Since i had already written it, and i felt it may inspire some other lovers of Srila Prabhupada in 'the greater iskcon', i thought of sending it to you, the admin of the site, with a request that you kindly pos the comment for me below the article, if possible. Thank you. All glories to Srila Prabhupada!

Your humble servant,

Dina

@Anonymous(2): It's about loving Srila Prabhupada in an eternal relationship of love, not about how long or how many rules one has followed for how long... If one remains in such a relationship life after life, serving a factual pure devotee like Srila Prabhupada, then one himself is always 'the true iskcon' and will never stop serving and glorifying Srila Prabhupada and expertly giving his mercy to others (whether or not he lives in a building called iskcon!) In that way i am sure all the true loving servants of His Divine Grace can never and have never given up serving and remembering him....only they may not be doing it in a building with the signboard Iskcon on it, because I think Srila Prabhupada left that address long ago, along with his true mission, which is Lord Caitanya's Sri Krishna Sankirtana Movement - that is the true 'iskcon'.

In one of his SB purports, Srila Prabhupada clearly reveals the fact that when an Acarya departs, he leaves behind him a community of Brahmanas (N.B. He did not say Vaishnavas). So that is what Iskcon the buildings and legal assets are - caste brahmins in the mould of Srila Prabhupada's mercy. But the true disciples who live and breathe in his mercy are those who fell in love with him by serving him, because the ecstasy that HDG feels in every moment of serving his beloved Gurudev has electrified them and transformed them into his loving slaves life after life after life.... they can and will never forget him and never stop wanting to taste again that nectar of just doing anything at all spontaneously to please him..... no one expresses it better than His Grace Shyamsundar prabhu when he remembers his interactions with His Divine Grace before the camera and he describes Srila Prabhupada as leading an adventure like a pirate on a ship - it was simply real, living ecstatic devotional service! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AnqMbu94Nv0

Once all the 'changing disease' (especially the books) & the bogus gurus and asset / power-grabbing games began, Srila Prabhupada left Iskcon and all who wanted to continue serving him with ecstatic love would naturally have done so far from contested properties and contested seats of power etc, to relish the sublime nectar of their intimate, loving, eternal servitude relationship with their beloved Master & Gurudeva, Srila Prabhupada. That sort of personal love cannot be quantified nor institutionalized..... We can maybe get a drop of their nectar if we sincerely serve them and, when the right moment arises, eagerly beg them, "tell me once more what's he like to be near to...."..... i think that mood came across in this, the only poem that this foolish self (me) has ever accidentally penned - http://www.tiny.cc/godsownman

In summary, I guess what i am saying is it is all about personal loving relationships - that is how it (parampara) goes on eternally unstoppably....but not within brick walls called Iskcon.... His Divine Grace and his great mission to inundate the world with Prema Nama Sankirtana live on, in the hearts of this simple hearted loving slaves of his who are unable to remember and speak about His Divine Graces's personal mercy upon them without choking- and tearing-up..... (his servitors such as Shyamsundar Prabhu, Yamuna mataji, Mukunda Maharaj etc come to mimd...) oh, when will we be blessed to serve His Divine Grace's true lovers and servants in the same mood of total abandon and love? May those who tasted ecstasy in the presence of Srila Prabhupada kindly continue to pour out all their Oral History and preserve it in books and share their heartfelt recollections of His Divine Grace on youtube etc for posterity. THERE THE REAL ISKCON MISSION LIVES ON, FOR NO ONE CAN STOP ANYONE FROM SEEKING OUT A LOVING SERVANT OF SRILA PRABHUPADA AND SERVING HIM/HER...

He has purely left his mark on the planet and it is simply not relevant what good or bad administration was done with the material assets he left behind in some buildings called iskcon.... The real temples he built in the hearts of all who served him and then could not give up serving him! (As HDG said once, "That is how I have cheated you!".....but that is another story.... i digress) All glories, all glories to Srila Prabhupada! And all glories to Lord Krishna, Who, in the recent hippie era, orchestrated a miraculous phenomena called Iskcon that revealed to the world that (a) Srila Prabhupada is His pure devotee, "mor senapati bhakta" [Brahma-vaivarta Purana] empowered to save the world, and (b) That Krishna Himself had recently incarnated as Lord Caitanya in Puri to give Gopi-Manjari Prema freely to the whole world through Sri Hari Nama Mahamantra: HARE KRISHNA HARE KRISHNA / KRISHNA KRISHNA HARE HARE / HARE RAMA HARE RAMA / RAMA RAMA HARE HARE

That miracle has been chronicled in masterpieces like Hare Krishna Explosion by Howard Wheeler, Radha Damodar Vilas, Prabhupada Lilamrta etc etc, and those books will inspire the spiritual explosion of the fulfillment of Srila Prabhupada's pure heart's desire to inundate the world with prema nama sankirtana. It shall come to pass. PARAM VIJAYATE SRI KRISHNA SANKIRTANAM! All glories, ALL GLORIES TO OUR SRILA PRABHUPADA!

P.S. Please drink deeply this nectar of Yamuna Mataji's love for Srila Prabhupada, expressed in English and devotionally rendered into Bengali verse in this outstanding recording..... www.tinyurl.com/yamunasings www.tinyurl.com/yamunasings2

[PADA: Well we do not agree that the Lilamrta by SDG is bona fide, but we like the sentiment of your essay. ys pd]
