He's hospitalized in Delhi with severe depression.
This via his grace Deena Bandhu prabhu:
As many of you know, Bhuvanesvara Prabhu was taken to a hospital in Delhi because of Depression which has been going on for some time. It was only after a month of trying to help him here in Vrindavan that the situation got so bad there was no other choice. He had been refusing to eat or drink for several weeks and his blood sugar was extremely high and his kidneys were seriously affected.
He was severely malnourished and underweight. He had been completely uncooperative, with very negative thoughts, despite the best efforts of Temple President, Pancagauda Prabhu and others visiting him several times a day and trying to get him to eat and drink.
He was being given full time devotee care in his room here in Vrindavan. His situation had deteriorated and he was completely dehydrated.
It was decided by all concerned that it was necessary for him to go to the hospital in Delhi and start receiving IV's with all the nutrients and medicines necessary to try and normalize his body and mind. A very similar situation happened with him 20 years ago and at that time the same decision was made and the results were successful. We are praying for the same results now.
Krishnapriya Devi Dasi, a devotee doctor in Delhi, arranged for all of his hospital care in Delhi. He has full-time devotees with him as well. He has been receiving nutrients and medications through IV for the last week. The team of doctors are hopeful that within two more weeks he will be able to return to his home in Vrindavan and carry on from here however he is able. He always wanted to maintain his privacy through all of this.
We are giving this information since all the devotees have such love for him and should know some of what is going on. We ask that you all continue to pray for his well being. Everyone should know that every effort is being made so that he can return to Vrindavan as soon as possible. Ultimately the outcome is up to Krishna. Whatever the future may bring you can be sure he will be back to his home in Vrindavan very soon.
[PADA: Good, except what about all the tens of thousands of devotees who were kicked out or driven out, if not beaten up while going out the door? What about the thousands of ex-gurukula children, many of whom are now in a depressed situation, and there is no outreach for these folks? ys pd]
PS: One of his friends just wrote to tell me the bogus situation in ISKCON is probably causing his depression. Yep, quite possible.
