Sri Bhaktivedanta swami designated all persons as sudra, i.e., born into flourishing varnasrama society and qualified to take shelter of the twice born, i.e., be brought up to the standard and plainly all persons are mleccha, i.e., born outside of flourishing varnasrama society and this is called transcendental compassion, i.e., vasudeva compassion, i.e., compassion devoid of the material modes of nature...

P.S. There is karma and the mysterious time factor and good fortune, i.e., bad luck...

PADA: Right, so if karma is causing suffering, why should we remove the videos that are saying that? Why not admit that this is the root cause? I missed your point? ys pd

DS: I previously wrote a respectful letter to Anuttama Prabhu with some contentions regarding a different issue. We cannot suppress discussion of inconvenient truths among our selves. And in the polemical politics of today we can't assume the "public" is a monolithic group of liberals. 

We may turn off one group but trying not to offend another. How to choose which material group to appease? So I understand how you feel. On the other hand the PR board was established by Srila Prabhupada

And I question the way you have described its relation to " the gurus". Rather than him being the boss they may voluntarily defer to his recommendations. I am a disciple of Jayapataka Swami. Of course I totally see his preaching as most expert. But I know he does not want me to disrespect other GBC leaders, doing their job, even if there is some disagreement between them. It is all part of being members of ISKCON and working as a group under Srila Prabhupada.

PADA: I never heard of any previous acharya being managed by a public relations committee officer? Srila Prabhupada never established that the GBC committee was going to regulate what the acharya says or does not say. To say that the acharyas are subordinated to a committee is not what he said. Worse, Srila Prabhupada does says that plagues are the result of karma. Why would be want to erase what he says? And to John, all we need is love, yes that means allowing what the acharya says to be distributed. That is real love. ys pd

JF: Sri Bhaktivedanta swami prabhupada would have never preached electronically to the world in the middle of a world pandemic that all victims, i.e., loved ones, i.e., parents, children, etc of the pandemic got what they deserved, i.e., justice...

DS: It seems you are adamant in your position and it is unlikely they will be even slightly modified. But for the record I must state facts. There are no " acharya" in ISKCON who is not under the control of the GBC body. I see no reason to debate with someone who says this is not what Srila Prabhupada intended. So I am going to bow out of this conversation.

PADA: I did not say that the gurus are subordinated to a committee? The GBC said that, and Anuttama just now says that, the gurus have to listen to him and his committee. Gurus are not subordinated to a committee, the gurus speak as Krishna dictates and not as Anuttama dictates? 

That is what Srila Prabhupada preached. He also preached that people will suffer from wars, pestilence, plagues and so on -- which is karma -- for his whole entire life. And while he preached that for his whole life time, there were ongoing wars, pestilence and plagues going on around the planet mostly all the time. 

He wrote about that in his books which are useful for anytime, war time, pestilence time, plague time, or any time because these are eternal truths. The eternal truth does not stop at any time, its always the absolute truth at any time. There is no time limits on the absolute truth, its always true at all times and in all circumstances. Anuttama thinks the absolute truth is conditioned by relative events, its not. ys pd

PS: This is the same problem we are having with Torben, Ajit Krishna, Hanuman Croatia etc. They want us to follow Rocana's idea of GBC gurus 2/3 show of hands voted in by the committee, then monitored, censured, suspended, and maybe removed by the committee. They think mundane man's committees are in charge of the acharya, not Krishna. They have removed Krishna and replaced Him with a bogus committee, a committee that incidently places illicit sex deviants in Vyasa seats. Sorry, you folks and your committee do not manage the guru, God manages the guru. ys pd
