[PADA: I think Maddy is the son of Prithu das? Its unfortunate that many of these "ex-kulis" (general term for children of Srila Prabhupada's original disciples)seem to have little place for them in the current ISKCON structure. For example, most of the ex-kulis here in the Bay Area have little to do with the current ISKCON movement.
They might show up once a year at Rathayatra, that's about all their connection is, at least for most of them. The current leaders seem to have no tangible out reach program or plan to recover them either. The good news is -- that there are many young people of the "ex-kulis" age group (some with their own young children) -- going to the Sunnyvale temple and affiliates in India, so we are sort of rebuilding outside the framework of the current GBC managing system. ys pd]
