Well jeepers, sorry to disappoint you all but, Krishna was worshiped thousands of years ago, is being worshiped by millions of people now, and will be worshiped long after you and your pals have departed. That is just the way it is. We have a nice program here in Sunnyvale, and there are also hundreds of devotees spread all over the Bay Area, and their worship is going to go on with or without any of you, and thus the people here have no concern for anything you folks have to say. Period.
And thus the overall program is expanding nicely while you people sit around grumbling. Lets face it, you guys do not have a superior program, or any visible program that we can see anyway. At best, your program is to halt other's programs, ok fine, but that is not helping anyone with a positive forward moving process? What is your better program, of any of you folks? We just do not see it.
And there are now many thousands of people all over the planet who worship Krishna in too many places all over the world, that is not going to change -- no matter what any of you folks say or do. That's just the reality on the ground. We have contacts and readers in literally dozens of countries, thus, even if the religion is stopped or slowed in one location, so what? It will go on in other areas and countries anyway.
People have tried to halt Krishna's worship going all the way back to Kamsa, sorry to report this but -- it has not been stopped. Its now spread to too many locations to be stopped, its in far too many countries and is followed by too many diverse people to be halted. And many of the people in many of these places follow our idea, so even if its stopped in one area or country, big deal, it will go on in many others.
Right now most people are also on the internet, and thus there are thousands of web sites about Krishna being managed from all over the planet, you think you are going to kick Krishna off the internet? Well good luck! And thus many of the people who are currently reading Krishna's books today are reading them ONLINE, and downloading entire books onto their I-pads etc. And they can do that from where ever they are in the world. Unless of course the government shuts down the internet, otherwise people will have access to these books where ever they are, you will not change that one iota.
And even if the institution is stopped officially somewhere, it will still go on underground, on the internet and etc. Some religions in some countries have gone on underground for centuries, then they eventually come out in big numbers and so on, this has happened hundreds if not thousands of times. You seem to have no grasp of history. The whole Vaishnava culture is one of ebb and flows, its sometimes big, then its down, gone and almost forgotten, its even corrupted and seen as evil because of debauched acharyas, then its revived, it grows once again, ad infinitum, all sorts of religions have had the same patterns.
The Christian religion has had all kinds of ups and downs, reversals, catastrophic world wars, inquisitions, bogus popes, you name it, its happened there. Not picking on them, but there are bogus people in all religions. In case you forgot, Christianity has had constant problems with scandals, priests with molesting issues, people saying the world is going to end -- causing their flocks to sell their houses and end up bankrupted, inciting wars, witch hunts, ad infinitum.
And lets not forget -- that the Christians as a society eat meat causing all kinds of serious ailments, and as a group they voted to approve abortions, and they are now voting to approve gay marriages etc. Of course, the Christians saved our lives and we are eternally in their debt, but is their process your better idea? Or what? You folks always tell us what you do not approve of, but never tell us what is the way forward?
Similarly, lots of people are not big fans of the Muslim's religion right now, and we can see some logical reasons why that is. At the same time, its one of the fastest growing religions on the planet. All kinds of people try every day to thwart and repress it, but it still goes on, and more than that, its expanding on a big scale.
Of course your idea, lets suppress the Krishna idea, means you are de facto trying to get other religions like the Muslims to get the go ahead. OK go ahead, suppress the Krishna religion and then you simply give help and ammunition to grow things like the Muslim's religion. Is that your goal in all this? Hey, if you want to grow the Muslim's program in India by suppressing the Krishna's program, well go for it! Actually, we saw a population chart that -- if the Muslim's growth continues as it is -- they will be the dominant force in India over time anyway. You might get that result in due course.
As we already pointed out some time ago, the Akshaya Patra program you people so anxiously want to see shut down is currently feeding 1.5 million children daily. So if you people have success in shutting it down, bravo, then these 1.5m children will suffer, that's all, because you will not be able to feed fifty of them for even one day. Prahlad is of course in your group, he also wants to see this shut down, no wonder after he said he wanted to have the ISKCON children suffer.
That about sums up your folks whole program, you want to see children suffer, and they will suffer if you shut down the program that is helping them. You want children to suffer, and you are thinking that is going to impress us? No, it simply means, you are people who want to make children suffer because you are envious they are getting something they want and need.
