PADA: A devotee said to PADA editor, "these Evangelicals are the same guys who all voted to stop abortions in the USA. But they are getting into all sorts of illicit affairs themselves. They will just ship their victims off to Mexico to get an abortion." 

I dunno. 

It does seem like awful double standards -- if some of the clergy and church elders are getting into illicit affairs with congregation members, and then they are also claiming to be holier than thou Church leaders, clerics, elders and "spokemen for God." Hypocrisy. 

I am not sure what they will do if they make some victims pregnant now, but it will not be good for all concerned if there are "unwanted children." Wow, 700, and that is probably just the tip of the iceberg since many victims never come forward, as we see in ISKCON. 

The good news is, at least now all this is coming out and some form of rectification is being demanded, and future victims will be hard to create since everyone will be on alert status for these predators and victimizers. Yep, being a cleric or Church elder is a big post of authority, and it can be mis-used, and in Kali Yuga, it often is. ISKCON needs to do the same thing, name all the abusers and all their enablers, and clean this up.
