The earth is basically a giant enclosed garage, the atmosphere only goes out so far towards space -- and it ends. It looks like the "climate deniers" have won out, mostly because they had the financial backing of the gas, oil and coal industries that financed their climate denial program.
Let us fast forward to now, and it is looking like the climate problem is way out of control. Even in Delhi they are trying to get people to drive every other day to contain emissions, but of course that is not working out too good, the place is a mess anyway. It is interesting that someone was saying that emissions would cause a warmer planet -- way back in 1856, which means, various people were predicting our current problem a long time ago. In sum, the warnings were ignored.
Same type thing basically happened in ISKCON. Srila Prabhupada gave countless warnings about making bogus gurus. The warning deniers won, and they made a huge network of over 100 bogus gurus. And then ISKCON was turned into a nightmare scenario, especially for the victims, many of whom were children. If people are warned, and don't pay attention, they only have themselves to blame for the ensuing mess, and they are implicated in the karma of making said mess.
Now a devotee wrote to tell me "at least preaching will be better after the war." Hee hee, really? No, you are going to be running around looking for a can of beans just like everyone else. You won't have the resources to do a lot of preaching, because you ignored Srila Prabhupada's warnings to get self-sufficient communities going. You will not be prepared to live in the forest with nothing, and it will not be easy to do anything. This is more wishful bluff thinking.

PADA: Looks like drought, famine, pestilence, diseases and horrible wars were the results of sinful populations -- even long ago.
2 Kgs 7:17 : Now the king had appointed the royal officer on whose arm he leaned to be in charge of the [city] gate; and the [starving] people trampled him at the gate [as they struggled to get through for food], and he died, just as the man of God had foretold when the king came down to him.
Isa 5:13 : Therefore My people will go into exile because they lack knowledge; her dignitaries are starving, and her masses are parched with thirst.
Isa 8:21 : They will pass through the land destitute and starving. Their hunger will make them angry, and they will curse their king and their God as they look upward.
Lam 4:5 : Those who once feasted on delicacies are now starving to death in the streets. Those who grew up wearing expensive clothes are now dying amid garbage.
Ezek 5:12 : A third of you will die by pestilence, starving because of the famine in your midst. Another third will die violently by the violence of war around you. The final third I'll scatter to the wind as I unsheathe my sword to pursue them.
Luk 15:17 : "Then he came to his senses and said, "How many of my father's hired men have more food than they can eat, and here I am starving to death!
