RP: Yes, absolutely different results would be achieved ... the "karmis" are being brought to the lotus of feet of Krishna and his devotees to serve and be engaged in services and "bhaktas" are being used as instruments to bring these people closer to Krishna and are just a little more advantaged because they getting closer to Krishna by doing so.

PADA: Yes, ISKCON spent $20,000,000 trying to have the directors of Akshaya Patra put into jail, so that would shutter the program and starve millions of children. Rather amazing, they were sued for $400,000,000 for starving their gurukula children, then they decide to spend $20M to starve more children. The good news is, they are not winning either case. They lost the $400M case, and the $20M case is simply another waste of money. ys pd
DD: Fortunately IskconSA and Food For Life SA had nothing to do with that. So that it does not make sense you asking. I see it as Srila Prabhupada protect his society from something that is worse in the future.
PADA: ISKCON SA is managed by Bhakti Chaitanya Swami, and he endorsed suing the Akshaya Patra people, and spending millions on that -- using ISKCON's funds, and he voted in favor of the folks behind the lawsuit at the GBC meeting. They were trying to get another $1M when they got hit with the virus problem and that reduced their legal fund.
ISKCON SA managers are in favor of diverting funds for lawsuits, that was my point. I am not sure what the trouble is there, but all of ISKCON is being managed by the same people. ys pd

It is horrible how she has to suffer to allow the fat cats gurus to live in mansions with servants. And her devotee children are not in too good shape either. Barely scraping along. Hanging on by a thread all the time.
I cannot understand why they are still saying we need to remain silent after all this time? Shut up and allow the ship to hit the iceberg. We did that ... the ship sank ... most people are gone ... and you GBC-ites are sticking with the plan. That is the plan ... and we are carrying on! Preaching no less. Preaching ... what?

Wow! Another guy who thinks now is 20 years ago! Jayapataka was asking for another million just before the virus problem happened. He still wants to revive their Delhi court case now. That is recent, not 20 years ago. And the GBC is still paying for the $400,000,000 child abuse lawsuit now, not 20 years ago, and so on and so forth. No, the Delhi Supreme Court case is still open, it was not resolved 20 years ago. 20 years ago they said this would not cost more than 1M total, they lied so they could make it their cash cow, and it still is. And right now there are forums with thousands of upset devotees who do not approve of keeping a known molester in the guru seat, and these forums are gaining more people now as we speak. Now is not 20 years ago. Now is now? So the people who wanted to stop the feeding of children program are still trying to do that now, they have not dropped their case as of NOW. ys pd
