Shanta Maharaja
Yesterday, Bhakti Tilak Niriha Maharaja (NM) went to meet a few political leaders in Nabadwip Dham and tried to persuade them to accept his spiritual superiority over Srila Bhakti Niskama Shanta Maharaja. NM argued that Srila Shanta Maharaja was always staying outside the Math and that he was always living in the Math. He also claimed that he was a joint account holder with Srila Bhakti Nirmal Acharya Maharaja. Hearing this, one political leader told him that money could not be used to establish an individual's spiritual superiority. He has further said that:
"We know that you were serving as a driver in the Math, and Srila Shanta Maharaja is a qualified preacher, and he was preaching for your Math everywhere. We have photographic and video evidence of the same. You have now declared yourself an Acharya at Tarakeswar, and why not show your spiritual qualification to the world by preaching the proper teaching to everyone? Instead, you are consumed by envy for Srila Shanta Maharaja, which means you cannot demonstrate your spiritual superiority."
NM has replied to the political leader that Shanta Maharaja has no papers for ownership of the Math in Narashimaplli and the political leader responded that the same is true also for yourself. After that, NM suggested that if both of us don't have papers for Math, then let the Math go into the hands of the government and not into the hands of Srila Shanta Maharaja.
Hearing that the political leader has said that from this we now know that you are even envious of your Gurudev's mission. To elaborate on the same, the political leader has narrated a story to NM:
"Two ladies were fighting a court case to establish their rightful ownership of a baby. The court has given a judgement that 'let the baby be equally divided among the two by cutting the body of the baby into equal halves'. "
[PADA: Wow. So neither has papers to "prove in court" they are they rightful acharya. And maybe the government should own the property and not one of them. This is what Srila Prabhupada complains about with the BR Sridhara Maharaja false gurus. They are arguing over control of the bricks and stones and neglecting the preaching. And they are still arguing over the bricks and stones since 1936 until now. ys pd]

At present, after the sudden disappearance of Srila Acharyadev, we see in our society that many have adopted a naïve process of choosing someone as Guru based on some public opinion and rumours circulated by a cook and a room/dress cleaner (two personal servitors) of Srila Acharyadev. Has Srila Acharyadev ever given any instructions or directions to anyone to accept spiritual directions from those two personal servitors of Srila Acharyadev? Has anyone considered the level of spiritual realization of those personal servitors of Srila Acharyadev? Are they spiritually qualified to give our mission its spiritual successor?
[PADA: Right, BR Sridhara Maharaja endorsed a bi-sexual deviant as the guru in 1936, and then he endorsed the GBC's illicit sex with men, women and children guru parampara in 1978. He never considered whether these people were qualified to be gurus, or not.]
Hardly anyone in our mission has considered all these things. On the other hand, they simply want to follow a pope without any consideration of how that pope is being selected.
[PADA: Right, BR Sridhara Maharaja said the GBC can vote in acharyas, which is very similar to how the Pope is voted in.]
We notice a significant difference in conception between Bimala Prasada (Srila Bhakti Siddhanta Saraswati Thakur) and his own brother (son of Srila Bhakti Vinoda Thakur), Lalita Prasada. Being a proponent of Diksha Guru Parampara, Lalita Prasad was a staunch opponent of the Bhagavat / Siksha Sampradaya concept that Srila Bhakti Siddhanta Saraswati Thakur was preaching in society.
[PADA: Exactly what happened in the Gaudiya Matha. SR Sridhara opposed the idea that we neophytes should act as siksha / preacher devotees and not artificial acharyas. He wanted the preachers to declare they are self-realized acharyas.]
People want to adopt an easy (sahaj) way to achieve the highest things and thus adopt cheap methods (shajiyaism). Following Srila Saraswati Thakur, Srila Bhakti Rakshak Sridhar Maharaja has explained that Diksha is more or less a formal thing.
[PADA: Diksha means the guru must be able to give pure divyam jnanam and absorb sins, it is not a formal thing, it is the whole thing.]
Therefore, Srila Sridhar Maharaja has said that, according to his Guru Maharaja, Siksha is a more substantial thing. Srila Sridhar Maharaja has said that his Guru Maharaja considered them as Sahajiyas who have accepted the Diksha Guru line as the real Guru Parampara.
[PADA: But BR Sridhara supported false diksha gurus.]
All these historical teachings are now completely forgotten, and many in our society have adopted Sahajiyaism by embracing the Diksha Guru lineage. It is very sad to see that the majority of people in our community have gone against the very foundational concept that our Gurus have practiced and preached.
We have to pray for them, and because some are very passionate and adamant about following this Sahajiyaism, thus following the advice of Srila Sridhar Maharaja, we have to wish them good luck.
