[PADA: This is pretty ridiculous really. Each side is trying to use religion to justify their side of the war. What amazes me is -- this Russian priest does not even care that he is being filmed -- using a crucifix -- to beat up on another priest, and how childish, foolish and non-religious that he would appear to the rest of the world.
They don't care about public opinion. And that is also why they just don't care about the thousands of photos of the residential apartment buildings they blow up, mass graves, burnt out schools and hospitals -- and so on -- appearing every single day to the rest of the world all over the mass media -- makes them appear either. They just don't care what other people see going on here.
We are right because God is backing us -- even though there is ample photographic evidence we are pounding the civilians to death and destruction. So the beating with a crucifix is quite symbolic of the whole thing, we are going to bomb the civilians using "Jesus approved" bombs, because Jesus wants all these sinners to be dead. Really?
And that is why they tell their soldiers they will go to heaven if they get killed in the war. Except, Srila Prabhupada says warriors in Kali Yuga wars -- all go to hell. In other words, they have weaponized religion. Ooops! Krishna ain't gonna like that! At all!
Normal people would never beat up on another person using a crucifix in any event, whether they were being filmed or not, out of respect for the crucifix being a sacred religious symbol in their religion. Same reason a person would not beat up on another person using a Bible. These guys don't care what the world opinion is, self-evidently.
Oh oh. Same type things happened in ISKCON. The leaders orchestrated mass banning, mass child molesting, various beatings and assassinating of dissenters, massive expensive lawsuits etc. -- and this was publicized over and over and over in the mass media.
And they evidently just do not care about public opinion. And they weaponized the religion to have us dissenters removed, attacked, and maybe killed. That is why Ravindra swarupa tossed the book "Monkey On A Srick" into the trash at the GBC meeting saying -- "we don't care what the karmis think." OK then, they will think your religion is bogus. Fine with the GBC?
Worse, the same people who orchestrated this regime, like Mukunda swami, Jayapataka swami, Lokanath swami, Bhakti Vikas swami, Radhanath swami, BB Govinda swami, Hrdayananda swami -- et al. are still the people in charge of the regime. In other words, ISKCON has not cared about public opinion either, just like this priest wielding a cross.
And worse, the leaders still don't care, or they would have cleaned this up long ago. And instead of cleaning it up, it looks like the GBC / ICC bureau is doubling down on their whole post-1978 program of promoting pedophiles as messiahs. They don't care how that looks to the public. They are ditto heads with this priest.

ReplyDeleteGod has authorized us to exploit others in His name. And it makes us look bad, or even terrible, but if you don't like it, who cares? Maybe God cares that His name is being weaponized for personal agenda ... and the people who do that will be duly punished.
This is the same thing as ISKCON, they get angry when they see how we expose them and don't agree with their bogus gurus. Lust, anger and greed run on parallel tracks
