PADA: It is a very good idea, and we hope that the current management is more "Prabhupada centered" than some of the previous lot there in Scotland. We posted some really bizarre stories of mis-managing there some years ago, and we hope that a saner group is gradually taking the helm. If they have a current "position paper" on their idea of how "guru tattva" should be implemented, we'd like to see it.
I also heard that New Talavan got rid of their former temple president (Gadi dasa) who was claiming to be an acharya, and he has moved away from the farm. Another nut bag who thinks he can absorb sins like Jesus. Nope!
Unfortunately, Gadi's name still appears as a contact on their site, and no explanation of what happened -- or why -- has been given. Someone from there simply "expected" that I would know all sorts of changes have been made there, when there is no public info on the alleged changes -- that I can find. Nor did anyone send me any detailed explanation.
Again, what is their guru tattva position at present?
Anyway, we wish these programs well, and we hope they will have success eventually. But unless there is proper guru tattva, instead of Bhakti Vikas swami's never ending fireballs of jumbo jet "gurus" crashing and burning up the passengers left, right and center, progress will be stunted.
