Ramesvara's Input Not Invited by BBTI Trustees

The current BBT Trustees and current BBT editors missed a golden opportunity to participate in this (Garuda dasa) symposium to show that they take seriously their role as fiduciaries and protectors of Srila Prabhupada’s books. The realty is that practically none of the current BBT Trustees served in that role during Srila Prabhupada’s manifest Vapu presence. 

None of them were trained or corrected by Srila Prabhupada in managing His Divine Grace’s BBT, and as such, they may be unaware of how Srila Prabhupada wanted his BBTs to operate on all levels, including editing. As the BBT Trustee who had the most direct contact with and training by Srila Prabhupada, I find it telling that the current Trustees have never once even interviewed me regarding any history or policies that Srila Prabhupada instituted - regarding what was acceptable and what was not for his books. 

It’s as if they don’t want to know, in case it contradicts their current structure, policies and practices. That seems very odd. Their refusal to attend this symposium is in keeping with their closed-off and disconnected current position. I beg to remain their aspiring BBT servant, ramesvara dasa

Garuda das: And this is one of the important purposes of my involvement, is to try to bring the BBT out of isolation and into more responsive and sensitive activation of Śrīla Prabhupāda's instructions and "consensus," as Vaisesika Dasa likes to emphasize, but, in my experience, does not follow through on with me and others.

Ramesvaraji / Robert Grant, it is utterly inconceivable to me how the BBT has not constantly drawn from your many years of direct guidance from and BBT service to Śrīla Prabhupāda. This is a symptom, a major symptom, of how the BBT remains to closed and exclusive and out of touch. You should have been held as a "special senior advisor" to the whole directorship of the BBT, at the very least. Shocking that you're not, frankly.

RS: Maybe when they are all dead we can see some progress. But don’t hold your breath.

DD: I believe that Srila Prabhupada would use VERY strong words against those present BBT trustees for their absence. I could think of one word in particular. The definition of sabotage is an intentional destruction of something.

K Dasa: I can only speculate as to why, so I won’t. But I’m amazed that devotees in an official position with the BBTI, or whatever, won’t take advantage of yours and Ramesvara prabhu’s abundant experience and qualifications. This inability to clear up this controversy has got to be disappointing to Srila Prabhupada. Thank you both for your humble and sincere efforts to assist Srila Prabhupada in his untiring effort to deliver BG, SB, and CC to the conditioned souls. ys, Kdas
