PADA: Yep, it has been very dry here in California. And last year we had multiple huge forest fires -- that went on for weeks -- and made the atmosphere heavy duty "smoke smell" -- and very hard to breathe. It looks like we are in for "more of the same" this year. Kali Yuga means extreme weather -- and we are seeing that already -- and it has 428,000 more years to go -- where it just gets worse. 

Sorry, Jesus is not coming soon to levitate the pious out of here, and leave the rest of of sinners to rot in suffering, everyone will have to suffer here as Kali gets worse. And it will. The Yuga Dharma of Lord Krishna, the chanting of His Holy Name, was meant to counteract the ill effects of Kali. 

And that is another reason we are finding it so hard to forgive the bogus ISKCON GBC guru process. One of the odious side effects of their program was and is -- to make the harinama of God's name almost extinct. That was practically the first rattle out of the box in 1978, to stop the harinama and engage the devotees instead in selling candles, jewelry, bogus Pope buttons, Snoopy stickers, Hong Kong oil paintings, and assorted and sundry other foolish items. And by 1980 ISKCON was sued in Syracuse Federal court for "systematically defrauding the public."

And the harinama almost disappeared to nil simultaneously, and has never been factually revived in GBC guru land. And that boy and girls, is why Kali's grip will get worse and the suffering of the populace will increase. ys pd]
