Prayers for Bhakta Dasa (William Benedict)

ALL DEVOTEES - PLEASE PRAY FOR QUICK RECOVERY OF HIS GRACE BHAKTA DASA PRABHU, William Benedict, SRILA PRABHUPADA'S DEAR DISCIPLE. He's in hospital coughing up blood, and passing blood. His blood count is low and they're still running tests. Hare Krsna

PADA: Evidently -- in the hospital with symptoms of coughing blood, and passing blood, resulting in low blood count. Have not heard yet what the doctors are testing for, but some tests are being done. Sounds like he is having a very difficult experience -- and -- we wish him well.

At first, Bhakta das was a PADA supporter and he gave me little donations from time to time -- to cover the postage of our mailed out newsletter.

Then, he was hanging out in India for festivals with the GBC guru type guys, which we thought could lead to trouble. What could go wrong here? 

Then his "Balaram's Enterprises" business was raided by the police in the USA for selling "designer drug" components (i.e. Procaine). 

Then he fled to Thailand to avoid prosecution.

Then he went to Puri where he was arrested for a "sex crime." 

Then he was complaining he was going to die in jail, because the conditions were horrific.

Then the FBI got him out of Puri jail -- to prosecute him in the USA.

Then Bhakta started to tell me that BV Puri is the new living guru. Ooops, but what happens when all these "living gurus" like: Sridhara, Gaura Govinda, Suhotra, BP Puri, BV Puri, Babajis etc. die? Which they will do eventually? 

Will we have people just wandering around willy nilly, going away from ISKCON to different camps -- whenever the living guru dies, to find the next living one? How can ISKCON survive with that process going on? 

Bhakta das said to me, my idea of worship of the pure devotee is "The Christian idea." Well ok, so we either worship Jesus, or evidently we worship a pack of trouble makers, sexual predators, drunks and neophytes, or the hand maiden enablers of such systems. 

BV Puri said that Srila Prabhupada had told him that he was ONLY making ritviks. Later BV Puri said ritvik idea is bogus, therefore Srila Prabhupada is bogus for making ritviks and not living gurus. Ummm, we need to surrender to the people who are saying Srila Prabhupada is bogus? 

Then some of the GBC gurus began to advertise BV Puri as their well wishing advocate.

Then some of Bhakta's people threatened to come and kill me.

Then BV Puri was advertising "Saint Radhanath" to speak at his ashram.

Then Bhakta das and his eternal side kick Swarupa Hebel started to attack PADA for not agreeing with their "living gurus" process, evidently Gaudiya Matha and GBC folks. Swarupa Hebel was associating with the Sridhara Maharaja people, along with Sruta Srava et al.

And they were combinedly telling me not to criticize the Gaudiya Math and / or GBC's homosexual, pedophile, deviants, drunks and / or criminals living guru process that they were promoting. Cannot criticize Saint Radhanath, or his enablers!

Meanwhile Bhakta das's other pal, Gurukripa told me he was drinking a lot of Vodka and hanging out with Thai bar girls because he had "completely surrendered to Maya Devi."

And then people always ask me, how did things go so badly off the rails in ISKCON? Well, it looks to me like many of the citizens of ISKCON have been attracted to every deviation in the book, and then some. And it is no wonder the result has been a chaotic mess for a society with such inhabitants. 

Anyway, we are all supposed to be on the road of going back to Krishna somehow, someway or other. Unfortunately, some of us made a u-turn and went back to the material pool. Then again, some of the ex-kulis victims told me, this is not just going back to the material pool, it is a substantial deviation to replace the acharya with deviants, so these folks ended up in worse shape, i.e. a lower position than ordinary mundane folks. 

Mundane folks, to their credit, do promote the actual Jesus. They never say "oh yea, no one should worship Jesus! That is the Jesus deviation. Why are we not worshiping sexual predators, drunks and debauchees, and their Gaudiya Matha enablers instead"? Hee hee! 

I cannot say for certain what happens to whom, but shastra is very stark and rigid when it comes to promoting deviants as acharyas. There seems to be little wiggle room to get some mercy. Generally, shastra says people who promote false acharyas get severely punished. I hope that is not going to be true for some of these folks.

Anyway, good luck Bhakta das. We wish you all the best. Honest! I do believe you were at one time a sincere soul, maybe your current situation will help you see something you might have missed in your life, and a u-turn you maybe should not have made. ys pd
