Ramesvara is his former glorious days as the
messiah of Los Angeles

Dear Suresh:
Ramesvar prabhu (Robert Grant) here is celebrating distributing Jayadvaita Swami's books as if they are Srila Prabhupada's original authorized pre-1978 books. This is Ramesvar's repeated tactic. He takes conversations with Srila Prabhupada, instructions from him, and previous events from ISKCON's early 1970’s past in relationship to book distribution, before Srila Prabhupada's 1977 disappearance, and pretends the current distribution of Jayadvaita Swami's books are the identical circumstance and may be applied to the present situation.
Everything seems similar, except one glaring detail, Ramesvar prabhu is celebrating distribution of the wrong books. What Ramesvar is doing here is pretending Srila Prabhupada is party to Jayadvaita Swami's editing and wholeheartedly approves of it. However, according to his 2013 Memories video, this wasn't the case at all. The opposite is true.
In 2013, Ramesvar prabhu came out in opposition to Jayadvaita Swami's revisions of Srila Prabhupada’s pre-1978 books in his Memories series and, took a strong heroic stand, citing Srila Prabhupada’s adamant request that his books he approved not be changed, especially his approved art, but then later changed his stance to state that Jayadvaita Swami's books are the "Same in Potency" as Srila Prabhupada's original pre-1978 books.
His idea is the new versions are creating devotees, and the movement has expanded far beyond the original mission of the 1970's, so surely this is a sign of their potency. The cause of expansion however is Srila Prabhupada's personal potency and teachings, which shines through Jayadvaita Swami’s heavily altered renditions, so the cause of ISKCON’s expansion can't accurately be attributed to the changes Jayadvaita Swami made, just as Christ's potency still still shines through the Bible, even though it has been heavily altered from its original 2000-year-old form.
The "Same in Potency" challenge therefore must be answered, to prove that Srila Prabhupada original books are greatest in potency, to reestablish his original teachings as ISKCON's scripture, for study and distribution, otherwise Jayadvaita Swami dharma is here to stay. Is the final destination one achieves from reading and distributing Jayadvaita Swami's books the same as one achieves from Srila Prabhupada's original books, and are Srila Prabhupada's wishes for his books, as the author, included in his calculation? Perhaps only an empowered maha-Bhagavata devotee can settle this doubt definitively. However, until this “Same in Potency” challenge is answered, Jayadvaita Swami’s teachings in ISKCON mark a permanent sea change.
Why did Ramevara prabhu change his earlier position? Why didn't he learn from his previous meetings with Srila Prabhupada and his adamant demands to keep his books and color plates in their original state eternally, as Srila Prabhupada approved them? Perhaps management opportunities came up, where he might resume his old posts, such as BBT Trustee, GBC member, and Initiating Guru.
These positions, which allow him a place in the old Boy’s club, might seem of far greater importance in his mind, than the less lucrative loyalty as an important warrior for Srila Prabhupada’s unaltered original teachings. As we all are aware, absolute loyalty is required to be accepted by the GBC. All we know with certainty is Jayadvaita Swami dharma is ISKCON’s standard of today, which Ramesvar prabhu here celebrates and pretends to be Srila Prabhupada's original mission.
[PADA: It is amazing really. Jayadvaita (Jay Israel) says that gurus in ISKCON can be found -- engaged in illicit sex with men, women and maybe children (and maybe the family goat)" -- and right away he has all sorts of friends and defenders in the GBC arena. For example people like Vaisesika, temple managers in Alachua and Gainesville, and so on. And Ramesvara seems to be on Jayadvaita's side, but sometimes not, depending on who he wants to impress that day.
Why does the GBC hand select a person who essentially says God's "gurus" (His successors) are often -- sexual predators, child molesters, homosexuals, porno swamis, persons engaged in oral sex with taxi drivers in the dham etc.? How can this type of behavior be going on in "gurus" aka God's successors?
So is this not their real agenda? They want to teach little children that God's successors are often sexual predator perverts -- so they can corrupt the morals of little children. Is there any better explanation? ys pd
