PADA Editor Visits The Hospital

PADA: There are a number of devotees out there who have been saying to PADA, the virus is a hoax! There is no evidence it exists! Cannot be found under a microscope! And -- doctors are mis-diagnosing other ailments and blaming it on the virus. And we can fix it with hydroxychloroquine -- which is widely available in India and would be used -- if it worked.

Right, so all these dead bodies piling up in India are "a hoax." Nope!

Anyway, I had to drop off a person at the hospital today. And when I came out -- suddenly a car came speeding into the entranceway's parking lot -- right in front of me. It stopped right by the door. A man (maybe 30 years old?) opened the driver's car door and -- ker-plunk -- he fell straight down to the ground. His elderly mother came out of the passenger side crying for help.

And I could see clearly, he had his mouth wide open. And he sort of looked like a fish out of water. He was moaning and gasping for air. He was barely able to speak but he said very softly -- "I cannot breathe." OK so was this person suffering from "another ailment," like a toe fungus? Umm nope. It took me all of about three seconds to realize, he has the virus. OK so I am not a medical expert, I did not see the blood tests, the X-rays, or anything and yet -- I diagnosed the problem in maybe three seconds.

I am assuming that -- if it would take me three seconds to figure out the correct diagnosis -- an actual expert who sees this every day could figure it out in less time. Sorry, but the devotees who are saying this is all "a hoax" are feeding the problem, where lackadaisy attitudes have made things WAY worse. In India for example, they decided to have mass crowd events and so on, which self evidently are not a good idea.

So now the world wide media is attacking India's leaders as inept, out of touch, callous, or even -- more interested in getting re-elected than saving the people. And the image of India is thus taking a beating in the world wide media. "Incompetence" being used regularly. And unfortunately, if the devotees follow this pattern, they too will be judged the same way. This situation is NOT a hoax. And it is sad we would even have to tell anyone that that is the case.

Unfortunately, after seeing this poor guy fall out of his car, it is hard to un-see that type of thing. It is very impactful. I am sure many people are seeing this type of thing a lot in many places in India at present. Very sad that it has to come to Krishna using this technique to teach the renegade souls a lesson.
