[PADA: Evidently, three staff members of the ISKCON Mayapur program have died from the virus just recently. A number of others are currently ill. It does look like this virus problem is taking a heavy toll on ISKCON, its economy, it members, and even its GBC leaders. Let us see how this all unfolds, but at present it looks pretty grim for their program overall.
No, I am not "gloating" as some have suggested. In reality I do not wish them well or unwell. They have created their own destiny ... and they will have to pay the piper -- or not pay -- accordingly. Of course shastra tells us what the destiny of false gurus is ... but that does not mean we are gloating over these statements.

ReplyDeleteFrom Iskcon Vrindavan: Yesterday two devotees from our community left their bodies after a long struggle with Covid 19. His Grace Jayananda Prabhu, disciple of His Holiness Vedavyasa Priya Swami. He was admitted in the Mayawati Hospital and yesterday morning he left his body.
ReplyDeleteAlso His Grace Vrindavan Bihari Prabhu, disciple of His Holiness B. B. Govinda Swami and son of Srila Prabhupada's carpenter, Gangadhar Sharma, left his body yesterday due to Covid 19. Please pray for the departed souls.
Considering the seriousness of the present situation, from tomorrow the Temple will be in total lockdown. Only the devotees and workers who have essential services in the temple will be allowed to come in and do their services, then after they should leave the temple. For the prasadam, devotees and workers can enter from the gate number 3, collect prasadam coupon and come to the Krishna Hall to fill up their tiffin and then exit.
You cannot loiter in the Krishna Hall and in the temple. The situation is quite serious. if you go out from the Temple, all around the Temple Bhai Baba Ashram, Chaitanya Vihar, Madhuvan Colony are filled with Covid cases. So those devotees who are coming from outside, it's very dangerous for the devotees who are living in the Temple.
