Acharya Fall Down is "Inevitable" (Bhakti Vikas Swami Video)

OK wait a minute!

1) When Srila Prabhupada was here, it was always said that NO acharyas  deviate, and its an offense to say ANY of them do.

2) Then after 1978 many of the ISKCON GBC folks said -- ok acharyas might deviate from time to time -- but its not common, not many of them deviate, its rare.

3) Now Bhakti vikas swami says a number of ISKCON's leaders (most of whom are advertised as "diksha gurus" aka acharyas) may be deviating -- if not engaging in all sorts of mean spirited exploiting etc. -- because its "inevitable" that acharyas will fall to that deviated platform. And worse he goes on to say their acharyas are often mayavadas who are compromised with mundane yoga programs. Why is he BVKS always saying that acharyas are often deviants, exploiters, mayavadas and so on?

Its inevitable that acharyas are, or they become, fallen deviants, and / or mayavadas? Why doesn't Bhakti Vikas swami simply say, all of these deviants are not, were not, could not have been acharyas? He is simply attacking the parampara as full of "inevitable deviants" instead of clarifying that they are not producing acharyas? Amazing, we have gone from saying (A) acharyas never deviate, to saying (B) they might deviate sort of by accident, to now saying, (C) acharyas will often fail because "its inevitable."

And if its common -- if not often inevitable -- for pure devotee acharyas to deviate, why would anyone bother taking the first steps in the process at all, since even after getting a PHD in the process, one may "inevitably" fall back to being a mundane person? Even after reaching the acharya status, fall down is still -- inevitable?

--------------------------------

Sorry prabhu BVT Das, but Bhakti Vikas swami just gave a lecture saying that ISKCON acharyas often have no sadhu bhushanam and that falling down acharyas is "inevitable." Acharyas are falling down left, right and center because it is inevitable? Srila Prabhupada says it is an offense to say acharyas are deviating, and BVKS says not only acharyas deviate, its inevitable they will. That is not what Srila Prabhupada teaches. Bhakti Vikas swami is the sannyasa disciple of Jayapataka swami, and that is the program that we had to have sued for $400,000,000 for child abuse. ys pd

  1. Yes, Bhakti Vikas says the Zonal Acharyas kicked out the devotees, but he never explains that the 11 were never acharyas. He just says that acharyas behave badly. Then he says acharyas may have no sadhu bushanam, or qualities of a devotee. Again, how can acharyas have no sadhu bushanam? He never explains any of this. He is basically saying what Sridhara Maharaja said, acharyas may go mad after money, women and followers. This is not what Srila Prahbupada says? And now, acharyas fall down left, right and center because -- its inevitable? He is making things worse and not better. ys pd

  2. HD: Can you please give reference? Anything you quote without reference is as good as sh+t. Where did BVKS gave such statements, lecture, video and so. Quote or drink the venom you spat, yourself.

PADA: https://youtu.be/osiF2eldtTE ---- BVKS says ISKCON leaders (most of whom are voted in as their acharyas) are often without sadhu bhusanam, they are often mean, cruel and exploiting, and its inevitable behavior in their acharyas. He has said that all along? And he says that the zonal acharyas kicked people out -- without mentioning that no acharyas were ever appointed? I have quoted BVKS extensively on my blog for years now. And now BVKS says that their acharyas are often mayavada yoga classes deviants, he has been saying that for several years now, without explaining that these people were never acharyas. Of course since these deviant people voted BVKS in as their acharya, then what? ys pd
