Srila Prabhupada broke Race and Caste Barriers for Krishna Worship

Thanks Bhakta RD, Yes millions of people of all races already worship Krishna. Krishna accepts everyone of all races and so has ISKCON. All races are included in ISKCON. Yes, the Hindu smartas wanted to keep control the Vedic religion only in India, but Krishna is the same God for everyone, not a particular race, culture or etc.

Srila Prabhupada had hundreds of people from each race, and temples in all different countries, books in different languages etc., and that was all there all along. Yes, people who said only the Hindus should worship Krishna are a type of racist. Krishna says he is the father of all beings, and that was implemented in ISKCON.

And some fools wanted to convince Srila Prabhupada to stop worship of Krishna worldwide by all races, castes and backgrounds, saying his Krishna religion is bogus because its only for Hindus and not other races. Sorry, thanks to Srila Prabhupada the worship of Krishna is permanent now all over the planet among all races and countries and languages. Even some of his God brothers complained he was giving Krishna to the mlecchas etc.

Tomorrow, there will be thousands of people of all races and religions, white, asian, african american, hindu, muslim, they will all be out there worshiping Krishna anyway, with or without any of the caste smartas, or even us. Its a permanent fact. Yes, Krishna worship is going to go on no matter what they say, or anyone else says, its been going on for thousands of years and will be going on for thousands more. No one is going to stop it. Its going to go on for the next thousands of years with or without them, or us, or anyone else,

Many people have tried to stop Krishna worship, starting way back with Kamsa, it did not work, will not work, has not worked, cannot work, its called dreaming in color. So yes, its now become a cultural fact all over the world and that means its no longer in the control of the smarta Hindu caste, its too far wide spread now, and its out of their control. Its now in the grasp of all classes, races, countries and etc. So yes, Srila Prabhupada broke their caste and race grip on the Krishna worship program. Its now expanding in all nations, races, backgrounds, languages etc. and will continue to do so ongoing. ys pd

A Few Words About Kirtana Styles (by Prananatha das)

Prananatha dasa: Srila Prabhupada is opposed to SPECULATIVE KIRTANA STYLES. Srila Prabhupada’s personal style of simple chanting in a pure and melodious fashion did not change when he was in India. Historically speaking, it can be traced that in the late 60’s and early 70’s however.

Western devotees coming to India had no place to stay but in some Gaudiya Math temples. In some of these temples all different kinds of mantras were chanted without restriction. Although these mantras did not seem improper, Srila Prabhupada did not want us to use them in our temple kirtanas.

"With regard to your question about Bengali style kirtana and mrdanga playing, one or two styles is best. To introduce more styles is not good. It will become an encumbrance. Who is that Krsna das Babaji who is teaching? If we introduce so much emphasis on style of kirtana, then simply imitation will go on. Devotional emotion is the main thing. If we give stress to instrument and style then attention will be diverted to the style. That will be spiritual loss." (Letter to Satsvarupa Goswami, — New Vrndavana 30 June, 1976)

However this form of kirtan filtered into our movement very quickly since it was new and exciting and therefore rapidly accepted by the kirtan leaders. Variety is the spice of life. This variety however, did not actually please Srila Prabhupada. Now one may say: “Okay, I accept that Srila Prabhupada wrote about exclusive Hare Krsna kirtana which he desired his followers to sing. And I accept that Srila Prabhupada himself always lead kirtanas by chanting the maha mantra and never used the other types of chants often used by Bengali devotees.

But did he ever get personally involved in correcting improper chanting?” CHANTING MELODIES Srila Prabhupada was very strict in the melody sung during the mangala-aratika. He wanted the morning melody and nothing else. Before the opening of the Vrndavana Krsna Balarama Temple in 1975, one morning Srila Prabhupada called his secretary into his room and complained about the singing.

The devotee who led mangala aratrika kirtana had chanted melodies other than the morning melody. Srila Prabhupada said that he did not like the singing in the morning. He stated that the morning melody must be sung throughout the mangala-aratika and no other melody should be sung. He then demonstrated how the singing should be done by singing the first verse of the Samsara Prayer.

Srila Prabhupada was very insistent that the singing should be done in that way only. He then told his secretary to lead the mangala aratrika kirtanas in the morning as a way to establish the standards within the temple. CHANTING “JAYA RADHE…?” The morning after receiving that instruction, Srila Prabhupada’s secretary led the mangala aratrika kirtana in Srila Prabhupada’s room duplicating the melodious style which he had been shown the day before.

Srila Prabhupada was pleased and seemed to enjoy the kirtana but unfortunately at the end of the kirtana, the secretary fell victim to speculation and sang a couple of “jaya radhe’s”. “Srila Prabhupada looked at me with eyes blazing like fire… Voice choked and gagging, I ended the kirtan immediately without further formalites, never again to make the same mistake.

Prabhupada never ended kirtans with various extra mantras, especially not “jaya radhe,” so why should I?” Srila Prabhupada didn’t want his followers to chant Jaya Radhe. He explained that Sukadeva Gosvami did not feel himself qualified to chant the name of Radha in the Srimad-Bhagavatam and therefore only indicated her name with the word “aradhana” while describing the topmost gopi friend of Krsna.

“CHANTING JAYA GURUDEVA…?” Srila Prabhupada objected to the chanting of “Jaya Gurudeva” since he considered it to be a direct insertion into our movement from the sahajiya sampradayas in Bengal who always say things like “Jaya Gurudeva,” without referring to any particular guru. Prabhupada criticized this as impersonal and did not want it chanted by his disciples.

“Who is the guru?” he would challenge. Srila Prabhupada also did not appreciate the extended chanting of Jaya Prabhupada at the expense of chanting the Hare Krsna maha mantra. CHANTING ‘JAPA, BOLO, BHAJA’ HARE KRSNA…? In July of 1976 Prabhupada was in New Mayapur in France. A raging kirtan was going on somewhere below his room. Srila Prabhupada was verbally dictating responses to letters he had received while his secretary sat before him writing the words down. Srila Prabhupada was very disturbed by something he heard. “Do you hear that?” he asked the secretary. “What is that, Srila Prabhupada?” replied the secretary. “Listen to what he is saying.” “I cannot hear anything special. What is wrong?” “He is chanting something before the Hare Krsna mantra. Go and stop this immediately.”

The secretary immediately ran downstairs, danda in hand, and started pushing aside the crowds of ecstatic chanters to get at the leader of the kirtana. He could still not hear exactly what was being chanted, and neither could he imagine how Srila Prabhupada could hear it, but with full faith he plunged through the crowd expecting to soon be close enough to know who was leading the kirtana and what it was that he was saying before the Hare Krsna mantra.

When he was about two meters away from the leader he saw that it was Prthu Putra Swami leading the kirtana and then he finally heard that Prthu Putra Swami was faintly saying “bhaja” before each Hare Krsna mantra. With this confirmation, the secretary demanded, in the name of Srila Prabhupada, that he not chant that before the mantra and that he never do it again.

This caused a bit of a pause in the kirtan while everyone tried to understand what was going on, but before too long the secretary was again going back upstairs and the kirtana was being chanted correctly. Srila Prabhupada asked for a report of what happened and was satisfied that the mistake had been corrected. One should never chant anything before the mahamantra including “japa”, “bolo”, or “bhaja”.

CHANTING “GAURA NITYANANDA BOL…?” One morning in the winter of 1975, after the temple was opened, Ananda prabhu was leading the kirtan. Ananda prabhu was a Godbrother of Srila Prabhupada who had been living in our temple for many years, humbly engaged in serving the devotees with great love and devotion. He was the personal cook of Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati and was extremely expert in preparing emergency medicinal herbs when the need arose (as when Saurabh das was bitten by a scorpion but was saved by Ananda prabhu’s timely herb application).

He was also an enthusiastic kirtana leader. Srila Prabhupada was in his room as usual during the mangala aratika kirtan and his secretary was in the room next to him waiting for some order or command. The kirtan was loud and the speakers, combined with the reverberation of the hall, projected the sound into Prabhupada’s room with great ease. Prabhupada called his secretary into his room. The secretary already knew what was going to happen since he was trained by him the previous year about standards for kirtana. Ananda Prabhu was chanting “gaur nityananda bol” & etc.

Srila Prabhupada told the secretary to go to the temple room and stop Ananda from singing the kirtana. The secretary was shocked. This was the first time that he ever had to stop one of Srila Prabhupada’s own God brothers from singing a kirtana. But he dutifully marched off to the temple room to fulfill the order. Afraid of making an offense or being crude the secretary did not feel good about the matter yet he managed to mutter out some words to the effect that Prabhupada didn’t want this mantra in the temple and that would he please chant Hare Krsna instead.

Srila Prabhupada was extremely determined that the kirtan standard be maintained and not changed by the introduction of “other” mantras which were commonly heard in temples and maths. ISKCON’s most famous kirtana leader also liked to chant “gaura nityananda bol.” Although very few devotees know this, Srila Prabhupada said that he did not like those kirtanas and that that devotee ruined kirtana.

CHANTING “GAURA GAURA GAURA…?” As far as standards go, Srila Prabhupada’s instructions could not have been more specific. During one of Srila Prabhupada’s stays in Vrndavana he was attending the evening kirtanas and classes led by his disciples due to his being sickly and unable to speak. One night Srila Prabhupada’s disciple, Bharadvaja dasa, chose to sing a song which he said he got from a book by Gopal Bhatta Goswami.

The song was a variation on the mantra “krsna krsna, krsna krsna, krsna krsna, krsna he,” but instead of the name “Krsna”, the name “Gaura” was chanted. The mantra went, “gaura gaura, gaura gaura, gaura gaura, gaura he” & etc. Srila Prabhupada disliked this extremely, so much so that the next morning he called the president of the temple into his room and wanted an explanation of why Bharadvaja was chanting like that.

The devotee could not give a proper explanation at that moment. Srila Prabhupada said that he never wanted to hear that again in the temple and that the temple president should never allow such kinds of “speculation” in kirtana. He then went on to specifically describe how kirtana should be done.

A. For mangala aratika: the samsara-dava prayer, then Sri Krsna Caitanya (panca tattva maha mantra), then Hare Krsna mahamantra, nothing else.

B. For the guru-puja: the “guru-prayer” (that’s what he called it) Sri Krsna Caitanya (panca tattva maha mantra), then Hare Krsna mahamantra, nothing else.

C. For evening aratika: the gaura aratika song, Sri Krsna Caitanya (panca tattva maha mantra), and Hare Krsna mahamantra, nothing else.

D: For all aratikas this basic pattern should be followed. The chanting of Sri Krsna Caitanya (panca tattva maha mantra) should only be for three times, not more.

E. No one should sing a bhajana unless all the devotees know what the song means.

F. No one should sing songs in Vrindavan temple that are in languages which the people do not understand. Yasomati-nandana may be sung since the people understand that. In regards to “D” above, Srila Prabhupada specifically placed this restriction on the chanting after one incident with Isana prabhu in Vrindavan. In July of 1974, when Srila Prabhupada first moved into his new quarters, kirtanas were being conducted in his room in the afternoon and then he would give class.

On one of the first days, Srila Prabhupada’s disciple Isana Prabhu, who at that time was doing what was to be later known as FATE doll exhibition, led a kirtan. He was simply repeating the Sri Krsna Caitanya mantra over and over again, perhaps for 15 times, when Srila Prabhupada demanded that he stop and chant Hare Krsna.

It was after this that Srila Prabhupada became quite strict on the number of times the mantra was sung. “BHAJA” OR “JAYA” SRI KRSNA CAITANYA? In the middle of 1977, ISKCON devotees noticed a sudden change in the way the panca tattva maha mantra was to be chanted. Up to that point, all of the kirtanas Srila Prabhupada had led, both in person and on recordings displayed the song as: bhaja sri-krsna-caitanya prabhu-nityananda sri-advaita gadadhara srivasadi-gaura-bhakta-vrnda.

Every devotee sang this song in this way in every kirtana. However, in May of 1977 Srila Prabhupada became very displeased with the kirtans of the group in the asrama next to Krsna Balarama Mandira in Vrndavana. There kirtans were taking place with the following speculated mantra, “(bhaja) nitai gaura radhe syama (japa) Hare Krsna Hare Ram.” Srila Prabhupada then requested the devotees to stop chanting the word “bhaja” before our Panca-tattva maha mantra since the word actually is not part of the mantra.

There is no word which prefaces the mantra which specifically reads “sri krsna caitanya prabhu nityananda sri advaita gadadhara srivasadi gaura bhakta vrinda.” This mantra can be read in either Bengali or Sanskrit letters on the walls of every temple in Vrindavan or Bengal as it is one of the two essential mantras for Gaudiya Vaisnavas. Then Prabhupada thought about using some mantra from the Caitanya-caritamrta which he considered might go, “jaya sri krsna caitanya prabhu nityananda, jayadvaita gadadhara srivasadi gaura bhakta vrinda.”

His Divine Grace had his servants and sanskritists look it up to see if they could find it. After a thorough search they realized that there was no mantra like that and that the closest mantra was “jaya jaya sri-caitanya jaya nityananda jayadvaita-candra jaya gaura-bhakta-vrnda” which was not what Prabhupada wanted. Nevertheless, in order to definitively distinguish ISKCON from the other chanters across the road, Srila Prabhupada insisted on the change from the using the word “bhaja” to “jaya” preceding the mantra.

Tamal Krsna Goswami also noted the change in his diary. At 3:00 p.m. Srila Prabhupada signed his will and had Upendra, Gopinatha, and myself witness it. During the kirtana, Prabhupada twice instructed Yasodanandana Maharaja not to sing “bhaja” before “Sri Krsna Caitanya.” Was it because of the bogus groups who chant this word first? Prabhupada said to chant “Jaya Sri Krsna Caitanya.” (TKG Diary: May 23, 1977 Vrndavana) “You can say ‘Sri Krsna Caitanya’ or ‘Jaya Sri Krsna Caitanya,’ but never ‘bhaja.’ You just glorify these five personalities and They will take care of everything.” (Srila Prabhupada speaking: TKG Diary: May 29,1977.

Women "More Emotional" Than Men?

http://www.oneiskcon.com/the-hot-issue-female-diksa-guru/

[PADA: OK, but in 1986 a woman from CBS News said she could see that Kirtanananda was a fraud messiah and a deviant, in less than two seconds. Meanwhile "the men" in ISKCON had been saying KS was an acharya, a parampara member, and even -- the he was like Jesus, and so on. Women can figure out things too, and sometimes, decades ahead of "the men."

How did you guess, some of these "more discrimination" "less emotion" men buried Kirtanananda in a samadhi recently. Who would you put your trust in, the CBS news woman who identified Kirtanananda as a fraud instantly, or the bogus men who just buried that deviant in the holy dham?

Sorry, some women have been decades ahead of these "men" of ISKCON. Did anyone forget, we are not this body? Krishna can inspire a man, a woman, or even a dog, He dwells in the heart of all living beings. We have many nice women Prabhupadanugas, and they are way ahead of all these "men bodied" types in ISKCON.

And why is this "a hot issue"? Because some of the women in ISKCON are saying, hey we can to a better job of being the messiah than these men! Maybe in some cases they could, but this begs the question, who authorized the GBC to mass rubber stamp acharyas, either male or female? ys pd]

Woman Devotee Sums Up GBC's Guru program

***** Dasi, Hare Krsna, This quote is quite powerful "One can distinguish between a neophyte Vaisnava and an advanced Vaisnava by their activities." The activities we have witnessed from these "new gurus" are not from advanced devotees. Can not help but think about who is left from the original "gang of 11." And now some of them seem to be on the come back trail (which for their souls sake I hope is true).

At the same time, most devotees suffered so much in so many different ways due to their "mushroom" school of management, and most of these victims will not come back to the institution ever again. I can't help but wonder what is really going (behind the scene) today. For example, every time I see quotes from a certain X sannyasi, I still cant help wondering why does he still likes to sit with 16 year olds? As he was a grown man, why is he still attracted?

Then again ... there is the lack of repairs and lack of people in many temples in the Americas, so their whole program is broken down etc etc. Where are all the donations being spent? I am trying so hard to be positive, but at the same time their history is all there. Is ISKCON management totally corrupt, or is it just a mess due to incompetence? Or are they both corrupt and incompetent? Trying to be supportive of the temples in my realm, but its not easy. Hare Krsna.

How did we fall into the material world?

"Before our material body creation, in spiritual consciousness, it is clear, crystal clear. But when it is agitated by the material desires... In Bengali there is that poetry, kṛṣṇa-bahirmukha hañā bhoga vāñchā kare. What is that? That desire is that 'I can independently enjoy.' The example... There are many such examples. Just like a man is honest, but if he becomes polluted by the desire that 'If I can get that money by fair or unfair means, I will become rich, so let me take this money,' so immediately mind becomes agitated, and it becomes under the spell of criminality. Then gradually, under superior judgment, I am put into the prison house."

Radhanath Swami Implicated in Sulochana Murder? (Paramananda das)

A Letter of Apology By Bhakti Vikasa Swami

By: Bhakti Vikasa Swami ISKCON News on Nov. 16, 2011
Following is a letter to the ISKCON Community from Bhakti Vikasa Swami:
"Dear devotees, Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.
Some recent lectures in which I expressed concern about ISKCON have caused considerable concern within ISKCON. Several devotees have stated that they empathize with many of my points, but not with the manner of presentation and the fact that not all my statements were entirely accurate.
This has caused distress to many devotees, for which I must apologize. I particularly apologize to HH Radhanath Maharaja and his followers. I request them and the whole Vaisnava community to forgive my offenses.
I would also like to make the following points about HH Radhanath Maharaja.
1. He is known for his humble disposition in personal dealings.
2. He lives simply; for instance, he sleeps on a mat on the floor, and eschews luxurious accommodation.
3. He is an excellent story teller of both Krishna and Chaitanya lilas.
4. He has an exemplary history of brahmacharya.
5. He has inspired an unprecedentedly large congregation.
Regarding my concerns: I request the Vaisnavas to not, on account of my crudeness, discount them. Some GBC men have told me that they would like to see certain of my concerns addressed, but in a manner that will not cause unnecessary disturbance. vancha-kalpa-tarubhyas ca krpa-sindhubhya eva ca patitanam pavanebhyo vaisnavebhyo namo namah
Your servant,
Bhakti Vikasa Swami
P.S. If anyone would like to discuss these matters, please contact me at:
============================================

The fact is that Radhanath Swami was part of the murder conspiracy to kill Sulocana :
1. Kuladri, New Vrindaban's chief manager, was certainly aware of the other devotees who assisted and inspired Tirtha in his mission. Kuladri indirectly implicated Radhanath when he said: "I know Tapahpunja, along with other swamis, were saying that the community had to do whatever is necessary to protect the Swami [Kirtanananda]." At this time there were only three swamis at New Vrindaban: Kirtanananda, Tapahpunja and Radhanath.

(Kuladri dasa, cited by Halasz & Halasz, court reporters, "United States of America, Plaintiff, v. CR 90-87 Keith Gordon Ham, Terry Sheldon, Steven Fitzpatrick, New Vrindaban Community, Inc., Govardhan, Inc., Cathedral of Healing, Inc., Defendants, Before: Honorable Robert R. Merhige, Jr., United States District Judge and a Jury," Day III (March 13, 1991), Martinsburg, West Virginia, 475.)

2. Kuladri claimed that Radhanath was one of the key actors in this sordid drama: "Radhanath, Hayagriva and Tapahpunja were pushing like crazy for this [murder] to happen."
(Kuladri, cited by Dharmatma, from Trial transcript, cited by Halasz & Halasz, court reporters, "United States of America, Plaintiff, v. CR 90-87 Keith Gordon Ham, Terry Sheldon, Steven Fitzpatrick, New Vrindaban Community, Inc., Govardhan, Inc., Cathedral of Healing, Inc., Defendants, Before: Honorable Robert R. Merhige, Jr., United States District Judge and a Jury," Day IV (March 14, 1991), Martinsburg, West Virginia, 832-837, 941.)

3. Dharmatma claimed that Radhanath was involved to some degree: "he [Radhanath] was involved to some degree or had knowledge of Sulochan's murder. I know this for a fact." (Dharmatma dasa, letter to Hansadutta (August 26, 1994).)

4. Janmastami dasa, who traveled with and assisted Tirtha while conducting surveillance on Sulochan in California, explained how he was recruited to assist in the elimination of Sulochan: "In January of 1986, on my return to New Vrindaban [after the Christmas marathon], I was ordered by Radhanath . . . not by Kirtanananda Swami, to terminate Sulochan.

This happened with Tapahpunja Swami and Tirtha in November and December of 1985. I was on traveling sankirtan until Christmas and didn't get back to the farm until New Years. Immediately on our arrival at New Vrindaban, Radhanath sought me out and made arrangements for us to meet in his van, where he went through a prepared speech that he had delivered to Tirtha, Tapahpunja Swami and Kuladri many times before. Later talks with Tirtha confirmed this."
(Janmastami dasa, "New Vrindaban History, for the Record", The Sampradaya Sun (December 22, 2006).

5. Radhanath flattered Janmastami: "You are one of those rare few that Krishna has endowed with the ksatriya spirit and the courage enough to do what has to be done." (Radhanath Swami, cited by Janmastami dasa, "Chapter Seven: Knowledge of the Absolute is not Absolute Knowledge," accessed from http://www.harekrsna.org/pada/ks/nv/7.htm (November 4, 2008).)

6. Janmastami remembered in more detail: Radhanath was saying to those he was giving marching orders to: "Sulochan poses a life threat to both Kuladri and to Kirtanananda Swami. He has written that in his diary, and for that reason alone, this guy must be transmigrated to his next body."

Radhanath was clear in his meaning beyond any shadow of a doubt. "Now that Srila Prabhupada has left us, the entire fate of this movement — OUR movement, Lord Caitanya's movement — rests in Kirtanananda Swami's hands, and according to our nature, it is up to us to do whatever we can to help the movement in that regard." . . .
Radhanath had made his pitch to at least a half a dozen sets of sympathetic ears before someone raised these Gita related questions:
"How have these impurities come upon you? They are not at all befitting a man who knows the progressive values of life." "The words existent and non-existent refer only to spirit and matter. Why worry?" "How can a person who knows that the soul is indestructible, unborn, eternal, and immutable, kill anyone or cause anyone to kill?"
Tough questions, but from a submissive audience. Radhanath was undaunted. He quoted Krishna in his response to a potentially explosive volley of inquiry: "Everything has its proper utility, and a man situated in complete knowledge knows how and where to apply a thing, so there is no possibility of sinful reaction. Also, considering your specific duty as a ksatriya..."
That settled it. The order was there from your bona-fide spiritual authority and it was based on scripture, directly from Krishna. Either you followed those instructions or you were going to hell!
(Janmastami dasa, "Chapter 2: Contents of the Palace, Itemized," accessed from http://liberatedyogi.tripod.com.)

7. Janmastami's story was collaborated by two eyewitnesses. Bhaktipada's chauffeur confirmed: "I was privy to much behind-the-scenes action, and I was there when Radhanath told Janmastami to ‘destroy the demon.'" (Priyavenu dasa, conversation with the author (September 14, 2003).)

8. A teenage gurukula boy who served under Janmastami also claimed he overheard Radhanath order Janmastami to "destroy the demon." (Harivrata dasa, conversation with the author (January 9, 2007).)

9. When Ramachandra dasa, a New Vrindaban sankirtan picker, asked Radhanath Swami: "Do you know who killed Sulochan?" Radhanath replied: "I don't know, but whoever it was, he was doing devotional service to Krishna." (Ramachandra dasa, from a conversation with the author on April 10, 2007.)

10. Dharmatma continued his recollection of the day of the murder and remembered how Kuladri named three instigators who "were pushing like crazy for this to happen." "Later on after the morning functions, I had a discussion with Kuladri. He was quite disturbed. He mentioned . . . how it shouldn't have been done like that. And that how Radhanath, Hayagriva and Tapahpunja were pushing like crazy for this to happen, and how he had told them not to do it." (Dharmatma, from Trial transcript, cited by Halasz & Halasz, court reporters, "United States of America, Plaintiff, v. CR 90-87 Keith Gordon Ham, Terry Sheldon, Steven Fitzpatrick, New Vrindaban Community, Inc., Govardhan, Inc., Cathedral of Healing, Inc., Defendants, Before: Honorable Robert R. Merhige, Jr., United States District Judge and a Jury," Day IV (March 14, 1991), Martinsburg, West Virginia, 832-837, 941.)

11. Janmastami collaborated: "Kuladri was VERY, VERY frightened by the time it was coming to ‘reaction time' because he knew that he and Radhanath were in very deep doo-doo." (Janmastami, e-mail letter to the author (August 1, 2008).)

12. Although Tirtha successfully flew from California to Ohio, he was still in dire straits; New Vrindaban hadn't paid him what they promised, and he needed money to purchase plane tickets to get out of the country — fast. Dharmatma described how Bhaktipada and Radhanath came to him to pick up the escape money at the sankirtan house: "The next day Bhaktipada, along with Radhanath, drove up in my driveway in Bhaktipada's vehicle and tooted the horn for me to come outside.

When I came to the car we engaged in some small talk, I don't remember what. And then Bhaktipada asked me if I had six thousand dollars cash in the house. And I said, "I don't know. I will see if you want." He told me to go in and see if I had six thousand dollars.
I went in the house and went into my safe and . . . I counted out six thousand dollars and brought it out to him, and handed it in through the window. I don't remember if I gave it to Radhanath and he passed it to Bhaktipada, or I gave it directly to Bhaktipada. The mood was a little bit strained, and I said, "What is this? So they [Tirtha and Tapahpunja] can get out of the country?" And Bhaktipada and Radhanath smiled and nodded their heads: "Yes." And then they said, "Hey, we've got to go," and they left.

(Dharmatma, from Trial transcript, cited by Halasz & Halasz, court reporters, "United States of America, Plaintiff, v. CR 90-87 Keith Gordon Ham, Terry Sheldon, Steven Fitzpatrick, New Vrindaban Community, Inc., Govardhan, Inc., Cathedral of Healing, Inc., Defendants, Before: Honorable Robert R. Merhige, Jr., United States District Judge and a Jury," Day IV (March 14, 1991), Martinsburg, West Virginia, 832-837, 941.)
Sulocana wrote a book Guru business that exposes the kind of activity Radhanath Swami does, Guru business. He has several properties not in ISKCON's name. Is he charasmatic and reached many persons, yes, have he met leaders of state etc, yes...So I give him credit, do I trust him? No. Do I want to listen to his classes, Never ever....

Radhanath Swami also supports his God brother Jayadvaita Swami's book changes that are completely over the top and many times completely changes Prabhupada's words. He and Jayadvaita Swami are completely ambitious, yes and can they be trusted .Certainly not.

Even the Hindus Are Realizing GBC's "Power Hunger"

ISKCON Phoenix: Love of Power

BY: ALPESH MAHANT

Bhaktivedanta Cultural Center in Chandler, Arizona was established by disciples of Srila Prabhupada in 1996. Also known as ISKCON of Phoenix, the institution has created a fear and turmoil among the devotees, especially members of the congregation over the past few years. First, the Temple President went to the court on March 8th to ban a 75-year old man from India on charges of harassment, which were thrown out by the Superior Court of Arizona on October 29th.

Next, the management's reaction resulted in imposing a "ban" on five more Life Members on the pretext of "Private Property", through a letter warning them not to come to the Temple any longer or they would face removal or be arrested on criminal charges of trespassing.

"Love of power" on the part of management has caused senior worshipers and devotees a pain that nobody can imagine -- because their life has been centered around this temple in Chandler, where hundreds of employees from Intel and other major corporations have been devoting time and money as investment in their families' future - to raise Krishna (God) conscious kids who will be the responsible citizens of tomorrow's America, in view of practicing Hare Krishna Regulative Principles such as drug free, non-violent - no meat, away from vices of drinking and gambling together with no illicit sex, and chanting the Holy Names of the Lord.

Building and running a temple with public money and designating it as a "private property" violates the first amendment rights of freedom of worship. The Founder-Acarya of the Hare Krishna movement, Swami Prabhupada came from India to New York with little money, about eight dollars in all - and a trunk full of books, and established ISKCON (International Society for Krishna Consciousness) in 1966. Over the next twelve years he established more than 100 temples around the globe and had a following of more than 5,000 devotees. Purity is the force -- such is the power of love.

Current management's "love of power" reminds us of a proverb: either you are with us or against us.
Sincerely,
Alpesh Mahant

Dulal Chandra's Web Site / Women Guru's Issue

Tamohara das: Dulala Chandra's Website; Gaudiya Vaisnavism, Real and Apparent, upon visiting, appears to me to be elitist, and supportive of deviant asampradayas, such as Tripupari Swami and women gurus. Tripurari tries to say Srila Prabhupada is a deviant from the real tradition and that he, Tripurari Maharaja, will correct him. In this incidence, in the online comments, he says that in Gaudiya Vaisnavism there are many female gurus, and that only in Srila Prabhupada's example is that not so.

He supports the many women who want in on the guru pie; they want to be worshiped as as good as God, along with their hundreds of gooroo God brothers of the itsacon co. CIA sampradaya. I would not recommend them to traditional followers of Srila Prabhupada at all.

[PADA: The first problem is, we ALREADY have a huge mess on our hands with the current lot of MALE bogus gurus falling down left, right and center. Now we are going to make a bunch of equally neophyte FEMALES into gurus as well, and -- expand the problem of neophytes posing as gurus? This is like saying -- the cure for cancer is for people to smoke more cigarettes?

Does anyone have the actual web URL of Dulal chandra's site?

The only good argument we can see is -- that women gurus would probably have not allowed all the child abuse to have taken place, since women tend to have a more natural sense to protect children. The bad news is, once a neophyte becomes a guru, all types of madness seems to ensue. So even of these women become gurus, there is no guarantee they will also not go just as mad as their male counterparts did as well, and we will see similar deviations if not abuses taking place.

Just because a person has a woman's body doe not mean they can or will not become tyrant maniacs like some of these men gurus have done. In sum, no one is allowed to imitate pure devotees, just as the Nectar of Instruction says -- this will produce evil effects, one will become degraded. And as we often see, this degradation happens very quickly. Tripurari swami seems to be avoiding the main issue, we have an epidemic of neophytes posing as acharyas, and its creating havoc. Whether the neophyte is male or female is not the real issue. ys pd]

Bogus guru's -- "Tell a Lie So Big, -- No One Will Doubt It."

[PADA UPDATE NOTE: A devotee who knows Hansadutta says he does not support Mathias and his anti-semite program -- because he thinks it will create another huge publicity disaster for the German devotees. ys pd]

[PADA: Hansadutta's Schloss Rettorshoff Castle was raided in 1974, where the police found German books by Hitler's associates, not sure which books they named in the German media exactly -- but there were those like Joeseph Goebbels, Third Reich books, Mein Kampf book and so on, found in Hansadutta's room. We had personally seen some of these books on his shelf in our previous visits with Hansadutta. This was reported in the German media and magazines like "Der Spiegel." After that, Srila Prabhupada said specifically that he did not want his followers to be reading books about Hitler. And he was talking specifically about Hansadutta.

Therefore,
* Hansadutta has had an attraction to these Third Reich thinkers;
* Jayatirtha had an attraction to Timothy Leary and LSD;
* Kirtanananda had an attraction to Baptists -- and wanted people to dress like Christian Monks;
* Harikesha was attracted to all sorts of weird theories and ideas;
* Tamal went to a Christian college;
* Jayapataka has his people ghost busted by tantrics, etc. etc. etc. -- all these leaders have had various outside influences that they tried to "add" to Krishna, -- and it has not worked.

Neither will your idea of adding the anti-semite's ideas work, nor will Sanat / Mukunda / Prahlad's program of adding Illuminati's ideas work (some of the authorities listed on their site post anti-semite materials as well) and so on and so forth. These are all additions that were never authorized by Srila Prabhupada. We cannot have both Krishna, -- plus maya, its just not going to fly properly. We have already had your writings viewed by German media watch, and they wrote back to say -- you are an anti-semite.]

Mathias Sabji: So therefore they were no such (Third Reich books found at Schloss Rettershoff in the 1974 police raid)  and they had no such books about mass mind control and lie techniques. This is only the British Zionist propaganda work and you repeat such lies always because you hate Germans (and I am in a Polish - German body).

[PADA: What? No, this was reported in Germany, by the Germans, in the German media. This has nothing to do with the British, the Zionists, or their media. The German police raided the German Castle, and this was reported in the German media, not by the British or their police. And in 1979, the USA police raided Hansadutta's temple and farm here in the USA. They found all kinds of stolen property, stolen credit cards, and lots of guns, unlicensed C-4 explosives and so forth. The police did not plant this, they found this.

We also see Berkeley police around here all the time personally, they are not so much British or Zionist, most of them look like their grand parents are from places like Latin America. Our main contact was Officer Joe Sanchez, nothing to do with the British of the Zionists. The police did not plant all this to make Hansadutta look bad, they found it there at his temples. Hansadutta was running a criminal organization out of his temple, plain and simple. Sorry, the British, the Zionist, they did not make all this up, he was really orchestrating all these crimes.

Anyway, Hansadutta had a machine gun in the trunk of his own personal car, and a devotee named Vipra told us he "took the blame for the machine gun" to "save the guru from being arrested." So Vipra was charged with Federal Firearms Felony just to protect Hansadutta. Again, none of this is British propaganda, it was all recorded by the local Berkeley police and many devotees testified that these crimes were going on here.]

Mathias Sabji: Therefore Hansadutta Prabhu was not using such so called expert techniques of mass control because the Germans don't have such writings.

[PADA: Hansadutta was quoting Joespeph Goebbels here at the Berkeley temple many different times: "Tell a lie so big -- no one will doubt that you are making it up." We personally heard him saying that right here in Berkeley. And what was his big lie? That he and ten other GBC had been appointed as gurus. He knew it was a big lie all along. And Joeseph Goebbels was one of the people he was quoting. So yes, this is the type of mind control techniques that were used in the 1930s to make a huge personality cult based on Hitler, and the GBC's gurus (and Hansadutta was one of them) simply borrowed these same techniques to make personality cults based on themselves.

Thus, Hansaduuta was ready for the day he could declare he was the next messiah, because he had for many years studied all these cult mind control techniques from the writings of his other guru, Joeseph Goebbels. Tamal was meanwhile reading his other guru, Machiavelli, so they were reading outside materials for inspiration and direction how to take over the Krishna movement and make it their own personality cult movement. And it worked, they did that.]

Mathias Sabji: And therefore I don't believe you that apparently Hansaduta Prabhu still thinks this is a good program.

[PADA: OK we did not say he still thinks that his actions in the 1970s and 80s were good. We said he has not come completely clean and he has denied the poison issue -- we think, because he still has sympathy for the disciples of Machiavelli. He is still holding back on details he could give us to help expose these guys. And you are not helping him by saying or implying he supports your revival of the Third Reich program. That means you are saying that Hansadutta is still with the Third Reich writings. That is what you are implying, that he has not changed. You are implying that, not us.

We said Hansadutta's original 1978 idea was, "Tell a lie so big no one will doubt it." So Hansadutta's 1978 argument was, lets make up a huge lie to completely derail ISKCON, and mis-represent Srila Prabhupada. And his "big lie" technique was used to help him jump-start his program of 11 GBC's acting as gurus, by their combinedly making up their big lie that they had been appointed as gurus. Sulochana called this "the big lie." And it was and still is a big lie, there was no guru appointment.

Hansadutta admits he was spreading this big lie. Their big lie has caused considerable irreversible damage to the lives of thousands of people, and to ISKCON. Almost all the devotees were banned, some were beaten, and some were killed. People committed suicide. People got depressed and drank alcohol and died. People got depressed and died a long slow death from cancer, ad infinitum. We know some of these people personally.

They suffered terribly, they got back into maya, they got sick for decades, they died, they sometimes went against Krishna out of frustration, they were in sum -- victimized by Hansadutta's big lie program. Yes, Hansadutta knows that is a mistake now and he admits and repents, and that is all well and good, agreed, but that does not reverse the damage he has done already to these thousands and thousands of people; Or the damage he has done to millions of people by making them think Krishna carries a machine gun.

And now the entire Berkeley temple is a basket case, because he burnt the place to ashes. We have seen all this take place personally, its not British and Zionist propaganda, its what happened here. We are eye witnesses. The people who have been damaged by this big lie will not come back to life by any means now, the damage has been done.

It will take maybe a hundred years from now to recover from this mess here in Berkeley. So, making up lies like this has serious damaging consequences. Hansadutta already knew that? Joeseph Goebbels also taught people to lie, and he knew he was making up lies, and the result of his lies was -- many people suffered; Many lives were made topsy turvy; Many people were shot, bombed, and tortured in so many ways; And hundreds of thousands died. So all of the GBC knew that they had not been appointed as gurus, it was a lie. So they accepted Joeseph Goebbels as their guru and they made their big lie -- "A lie so big that no one would doubt it was true." It was all simply a Nazi style propaganda program; Jackboots on the heads of dissenters; Death to those who resisted. Hansadutta was an integral part and active participant of that party. All I am saying is, history cannot be re-written now, what happened has happened.]

Mathais Sabji: This is a very evil offense and lie against your god brother. Hansadutta Prabhu was telling us personally that his maya was so strong -- all the time he was in his guru cheating -- that he was thinking that he was a real Diksa guru, and all the other Guru cheaters convinced him and not opposite.

[PADA: Yes, Hansadutta claims that the other Guru cheaters convinced him to do all these wrong things. He was always trying to rectify, but the other ten gurus would not allow him to do that. He is a victim of their program. This is just like what the comedian Flip Wilson said all the time on his TV comedy show. He would get into all kinds of trouble on the show (often by lies) and then his punchline was -- "The Devil Made Me Do It." This is a comedy act argument, its not a serious argument for adult human beings. Hansadutta could also have declared Berkeley a Srila Prabhupada temple and kicked out the bogus GBC gurus, because he had all of his own loyal people legally signing on the temple's legal documents. He chose not to do that, and to work with the bogus gurus, and that was his choice. He was not forced to do that. Neither were we forced to do that, we chose to oppose and he could have joined with us done that right out of the box in 1978.

And that is the reason the Flip Wilson TV show is such a funny program, everyone knows that Flip Wilson was just doing the wrong thing all the time, he was over - stepping his position and trying to cook things up, and the Devil had nothing to do with his mistakes. The other gurus did not force Hansadutta to cooperate, he wanted to be a member of their cabal by his own choice. Hansadutta told us he was in the original meetings where they cooked up the whole bogus guru idea in 1978. He was there, he knew ALL ALONG from DAY ONE this was all a big fat lie, and he participated in that lie. That lie has caused us and so many God brothers and sisters to suffer like dogs. Personally, we can forgive and forget, and we have done that. We now feel really sorry for these guru people right now, there is no way they can compensate their thousands and thousands of victims now, the victims are for the most part vanished, lost, gone with the wind, and many are dead. Its really a question of whether Krishna will forgive all these problems being made for HIS devotees, and shastra says, that is not so easily done.]

Mathias sabji: You are a great Vaisnava offender !! Hansadutta Prabhu is now a nice Vaisnava and he is sorry for his great mistake.

[PADA: OK, well you said that this whole problem in ISKCON was created by the Jews. Nope, Hansadutta is not a Jew? He is a German. And he has been caught by one of our very reliable friends a few years ago reading Aryan Brotherhood materials about the Jewish bankers and so on. You are the person saying Hansadutta has not repented and he is working with you on your anti-semite program. You are the person insulting Hansadutta by saying he has not changed. We are not saying he is still a diciple of Joeseph Goebbels, you are the ones saying he agrees with this propaganda.nbsp;

Bhajahari (UK) has posted a similar thing about the Jewish bankers and so forth. Bhajahari is simply getting into the same propaganda that Hansadutta had been getting into in the past. The Illuminati people have many anti-semite writing on various of their sites. Sorry, the problems in ISKCON are being created by all races and backgrounds, the Baptists, the Christians, the Germans, and these days, most of the followers of these gurus are in India. And a number of their gurus are from India. To say this is a simple race issue is an over-simplification and gives people a false idea of what the problem is. Bhakti Caru for example is not a Zionist operator of the British media, he is an Indian who is in the illusion that the 1936 Gaudiya Matha had the right idea of rubber stamping gurus. The Gaudiya Matha had no Western Leaders, period. They just made false gurus, that is the problem, its not that we need to start a race war. And even if you wanted a race war, many of these gurus are in the wrong race from the race which you are attacking. We want to address the entire party, not just those of one race, we want to identify the whole bogus guru program as an illusion, not just some of their members.

The Gaudiya Matha had many false gurus, and none of them are Jewish. And these bogus guru Gaudiya Matha people were the main assistants to our bogus gurus. The problem is false gurus, their race is not the important issue.

To sum, when I was in Berkeley in 1984 Hansadutta told us "tell a lie so big no one would believe it was a lie," so he used the writings of Goebbels to make his guru position work. He lied that he had been appointed. So he used these mind control of the masses techniques. The problem with Hansadutta is that he helped the other gurus by giving them the arguments from his German writers, and this is how he made things way worse, he used expert techniques of mass control that he got from these writings. Srila Prabhupada wrote in his Bhagavatam not to read books about Hitler, it was his way of saying people like Hansadutta are going off the rails. Now you are saying, we need not listen to Srila Prabhupada, ok, that means you are making the same mistake the bogus GBC gurus have made. ys pd]

Ex-Kulis Will Launch "Jayadvaita Book Changes" Web Site

[PADA: Some ISKCON ex-gurukulis are joining with PADA (and many others) to prove that these unauthorized book changes by Jayadvaita swami are bogus. These ex-kulis are starting a web site to discuss this topic exclusively, and they are going to use some of the quotes, proofs and examples that we used a long time ago in the 1980s to show how these changes are altering the actual siddhanta.

They also wanted some information from the 1990s lawsuit that PADA helped launch by our hammering on this issue in our newsletters for years together, and eventually getting enough people to take notice of this crisis. We were meeting with the steering committee on this lawsuit all along in Los Angeles when this was all being put together, and many of the quotes and proofs we used in our newsletters -- were later used in that lawsuit. Anyway, the lawsuit really started to create a big focus on the issue and it has spread like wildfire from there.

This is really good news, some of these second generation devotees are starting to realize that these bogus gurus have totally mis-represented Srila Prabhupada's teachings and they are now altering his books to make even further alterations. Notice below that the book changes issue is a big topic on the current Bangalore news. Yep, our idea of stopping these book changes is taking off, big time! We will keep you posted on this program when it gets off the ground. ys pd]

Hare Krishna!

The three ultimate verses of instruction in Bhagavad-gita
Krishna does not say to everyone that sarva-dharman parityajya, only to a selected devotee. Because unless one is a very highly elevated devotee, he cannot accept this proposition. He is puffed up with his material, contaminated life. That's all. "I am this. I am that. I am this. I am that. Why shall I surrender?" Actually they forgot.

Quotes from Srila Prabhupada and Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati on – not to change anything
"Don't try to invent anything "Road Show" or "Yoga Village"...If preaching is pure, automatically leaders, managers, funds, everything will be given profusely by Krishna, without any doubt." (Srila Prabhupada's Letter, December 23, 1972)

Norway's Army Goes Vegetarian

Radhanatha / GBC Gurus / Monitoring Their Disciples?

[PADA: A disciple of Radhanath has discussed the GBC's use of Tantric Black Magic to our associates, and has many details of these alleged goings on. We are trying to get this person's permission to publish these details. It does seem that Radhanath is not monitoring the goings on in ISKCON, especially if these statements of his follower are factual. Of course, we have heard various claims about this black magic stuff way back in the 1980s.

In addition, it seems Radhanath and the entire GBC are not even monitoring the public statements of their followers and disciples regarding their making offenses to the publications of Srila Prabhupada. The whole claim to the GBC guru program is based on the idea that they are able to give "personal direction" but -- it seems not much "monitoring and direction" are being done?

Worse, when the Mahanidhi situation was reported ten years ago, nothing was done. They are monitoring, what exactly? Meanwhile some GBC have said Radhanath is bogus for burying Kirtanananda in a samadhi in Vrndavana, but nothing was done about that either? It seems like there is no actual correcting, monitoring, direction, containment of problems etc. -- the actual job of the GBC? And now Harivilas' Vancouver temple has sent out a flyer with Krishna dressed as SANTA CLAUS, and is there anything being done? Nope! ys pd]

Will Radhanath Swami Comment on His Disciple's Statement?

BY: B. RADHA-GOVINDA

In regards to Lalitanatha prabhu's (offensive) statement (opinion) regarding Srila Prabhupada's Bhagavad-gita As It Is, in consideration of the fact that Srila Prabhupada lectured from His own (unchanged)] Bhagavad-gita As It Is -- throughout His years of preaching on the planet, the fact that through Srila Prabhupada's Bhagavad-gita As It Is so many people became devotees - the ISKCON temples filled during these years with devotees living in the temples, as well as so many congregational members who would come - as well as Srila Prabhupada's Bhagavad-gita As It Is being accepted by so many scholars throughout the world (and praised by them) at that time, it seems that Lalitanatha prabhu in making his "editor's" comments, never took into consideration the words from the Srimad Bhagavatam 1.5.11 verse:

"That literature which is full of descriptions of the transcendental glories of the name, fame, forms, pastimes, etc., of the unlimited Supreme Lord is a different creation, full of transcendental words directed toward bringing about a revolution in the impious lives of this world's misdirected civilization. Such transcendental literatures, even though imperfectly composed, are heard, sung and accepted by purified men who are thoroughly honest."

His email being listed as lalitanatha.rns@pamho.net, Lalitanatha prabhu is a disciple of Radhanath Swami. Thus, the following question: Before saying or writing this statement in criticism about his Param Guru Maharaja's, Srila Prabhupada's, Bhagavad-gita As It Is, wouldn't Lalitanatha prabhu (as a disciple of Radhanath), have followed the etiquette of first approaching his own guru, either taking permission or getting a denial from Radhanath Swami, before making such a statement? And if he got Radhanath Swami's approval, then what does that say about Radhanath Swami?

So I'm wondering now, when this picture with Lalitanatha prabhu's words gets around, will Radhanath Swami make some public statement in regards to his disciple's having written/spoken this statement?

My own question to Radhanath Swami is: "What do you have to say in relation to what your disciple has stated in regards to Srila Prabhupada's Bhagavad-gita As It Is?

Mahanidhi Swami Program alleges GBC "A Pack Of Liars"

[Related to earlier post:
http://krishna1008.blogspot.com/2013/08/mahanidhi-swami-fall-down-report-8113.html]

http://iskcon.us/ashenkar/overwhelming-support-mahanidhi-swami-iskcon-devotees-around-world/

[PADA: This is interesting! Mahanidhi swami is a GBC guru, -- because he is "2/3 show of hands voted in as a guru" by the rest of the GBC's gurus. Now (Mahanidhi swami and?) his merry band of followers are saying the other GBC gurus are -- a pack of liars? Umm, the same people who rubber stamped Mahanidhi as a guru are liars and fools? And yet -- the other GBC are maybe 50 more messiahs and acharyas. Ok allegedly.

How can one acharya's group say -- that the other acharya's and their followers are -- a pack of rascals and liars? These folks always say they "follow the tradition," -- and the tradition is, one acharya establishes that all the other acharyas are "a pack of liars"? That is the tradition? Really! Meanwhile, one of Mahanidhi's ex-followers and personal secretary tells PADA he personally caught Mahanidhi swami embracing a woman and he was forced to leave their group for protesting (he has joined the ritviks in the meantime).

Anyway! This is amazing! One acharya says all the other acharyas are liars, and this is "the tradition" of Vaishnava culture? Really! The acharyas are publicly engaged in name calling warfare, making up vicious lies about one another, and behaving like a pack of angry dogs attacking one another? These are the rasika pastimes of the assistants to the gopis and this is rasika "guru lila"? When are these people going to wake up and realize that they are making a mockery of the post of acharya by saying acharyas are deviants, debauchees, and now we can add to that,  they say the acharyas are -- a pack of liars. What!

Then Bhakti Vikas Swami wonders why their temples are "empty shells"? Maybe because you guys keep saying that you are acharyas, then you fight like cats and dogs with one another? The mass of public will never join a religion where the messiah level acharyas are fighting like cats and dogs calling each other liars.

Bhakta das has also come out in favor of the Mahanidhi team, he is saying the other GBC gurus are liars. Fine except, at the same time, he says PADA is bogus for saying the GBC lies about anything? Bhakta das can say the GBC gurus are liars, but no one else is allowed to make the same claim? Can these people even get their story straight? What is going on here?

And now Prahlad is saying Bhakta das is right on, except Bhakta das is promoting a person who is associated with the sahajiyas of Radha Kunda, and he is voted in as guru by the same people Bhakta claims are, liars? So Prahlad thinks, liars vote in the acharyas? Sorry but -- nope! Krishna votes in (empowers) the acharyas, this is the whole problem, these idiots never read any shastra at all. ys pd ]

Important Points About Book Changes (by Mahesh Raja prabhu)

Letter to: Rupanuga,
17 February, 1970
My dear Rupanuga,
Our editing is to correct grammatical and spelling errors only, without interpolation of style or philosophy.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
What they have done is to CUNNINGLY DEVICE A WAY HOW TO GET RID OF SRILA PRABHUPADA AS CURRENT DIKSA GURU. If you study they WAY of INTERPOLATION done by Jayadvaita and company they wanted to make it sound as if there were MANY DIKSA gurus so they DEVIOUSLY inserted “they”
And another TRICK was to put in an ADDED sentence:
” Nor by independent study of books of knowledge can one progress in spiritual life.”
BG 4.34
TRANSLATION
Just try to learn the truth by approaching a spiritual master. Inquire from him submissively and render service unto him. The self-realized soulS can impart knowledge unto you because THEY have seen the truth.
PURPORT
The path of spiritual realization is undoubtedly difficult. The Lord therefore advises us to approach a bona fide spiritual master in the line of disciplic succession from the Lord Himself. No one can be a bona fide spiritual master without following this principle of disciplic succession. The Lord is the original spiritual master, and a person in the disciplic succession can convey the message of the Lord as it is to his disciple. No one can be spiritually realized by manufacturing his own process, as is the fashion of the foolish pretenders. The Bhägavatam (6.3.19) says, dharmaà tu säkñäd bhagavat-praëétam: the path of religion is directly enunciated by the Lord. Therefore, mental speculation or dry arguments cannot help lead one to the right path. Nor by independent study of books of knowledge can one progress in spiritual life. One has to approach a bona fide spiritual master to receive the knowledge. Such a spiritual master should be accepted in full surrender, and one should serve the spiritual master like a menial servant, without false prestige. Satisfaction of the self-realized spiritual master is the secret of advancement in spiritual life. Inquiries and submission constitute the proper combination for spiritual understanding. Unless there is submission and service, inquiries from the learned spiritual master will not be effective. One must be able to pass the test of the spiritual master, and when he sees the genuine desire of the disciple, he automatically blesses the disciple with genuine spiritual understanding. In this verse, both blind following and absurd inquiries are condemned. Not only should one hear submissively from the spiritual master, but one must also get a clear understanding from him, in submission and service and inquiries. A bona fide spiritual master is by nature very kind toward the disciple. Therefore when the student is submissive and is always ready to render service, the reciprocation of knowledge and inquiries becomes perfect.
Note: EVEN if they come out with an excuse that it was in the Manuscript. That is NOT a fact. Hiyagriva the first editor was working from FIRST DRAFT. And that was the only thing there. Not only that Srila Prabhuapada in a number of Bhagavad Gita classes OVER THE YEARS so IF Srila Prabhupada wanted anything changing he would have commented as he did about “Cattle raising”.
Lets look at Jayadvaita’s interpolation TRICKERY: ” Nor by independent study of books of knowledge can one progress in spiritual life.”
Srila Prabhupada’s books are NOT JUST ANY ORDINARY books of knowledge Srila Prabhupada’s books are NOT different from HIM:
Adi 1.35 The Spiritual Masters
There is NO DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE SPIRITUAL MASTER’S INSTRUCTIONS AND THE SPIRITUAL MASTER HIMSELF. In his absence, therefore, his words of direction should be the pride of the disciple.
SB 2.9.8 P Answers by Citing the Lord’ s Version
The potency of transcendental sound is NEVER minimized because the vibrator is apparently absent.
690113LE.LA Lectures
Arcye sila-dhir gurusu nara-matir. Just like the statue of Krsna, to consider that “This is a stone…” Similarly, arcye sila-dhir gurusu na… Gurusu means those who are acaryas, to accept their body as ordinary man’s body, this is denied in the sastras. So although a physical body is not present, the vibration should be accepted as the presence of the spiritual master, vibration. What we have heard from the spiritual master, THAT IS LIVING.
74-11-22. Letter: Bahurupa
In my books the philosophy of Krishna Consciousness is explained fully so if there is anything which you do not understand, then you simply have to read again and again. By reading daily the knowledge will be revealed to you and by this process your spiritual life will develop.

Paramahamsa: Srila Prabhupada, when you are not present with us, how is it possible to receive instructions, for example, on questions that may arise?
Prabhupada: Well, the questions… Answers are there in my books.
Paramahamsa: Other than that, for example, that we would ask you in…
Prabhupada: Yes.
Paramahamsa: Do you direct us also through the heart? Besides the Paramatma?
Prabhupada: If your heart is pure. Everything depends on purity.

You may refer in this connection to Bhagavad gita, (10:10), “To those who are constantly devoted and worship Me with love, I give the understanding by which they can come to Me.” and (10:11), “Out of compassion for them, I, dwelling in their hearts, destroy with the shining lamp of knowledge the darkness born of ignorance.” This process of understanding by devotional service is essential for developing Krsna Consciousness and you all must follow this program assiduously.

(8) In other words, if you are sincere to serve continuously and always chanting, all such questions become answered automatically. I never asked my Spiritual Master one question except one: “How shall I serve you?” So in this way, kindly inform the others that I may be relieved to give you so many more nice books--that is my real desire.

Thank you very much for serving Krishna in this way, and if you go on sincerely serving like this, chanting, and following the regulative principles strictly, all your questions will be answered by Krishna automatically.

Next you ask if I am present in my picture and form? Yes. In form as well as in teachings. To carry out the teachings of guru is more important than to worship the form, but none of them should be neglected. Form is called vapu and teachings is called vani. Both should be worshiped. Vani is MORE important than vapu.

Whatever is to be learned of the teachings of Srila Bhaktivinode Thakura can be learned from our books. There is no need whatsoever for any outside instruction.

Bhakti Viksa ALSO played the DEVIOUS TRICK in Caitanya Caritamrta -- the man has lust for accepting disciples BUT Srila Prabhupada says in the ORIGINAL purport it is BEST NOT TO ACCEPT ANY DISCIPLES.
So by CUNNINGNESS AND TRICKERY they want it made ACCEPTABLE hence they are CHANGING THE VEDABASE ALSO TO THAT EFFECT. VERY VERY Cunning manipulation:
Madhya 7.130 The Lord’ s Tour of South India
The cult of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu is explained here very nicely. One who surrenders to Him and is ready to follow Him with heart and soul does not need to change his location. Nor is it necessary for one to change status. One may remain a householder, a medical practitioner, an engineer or whatever. It doesn’t matter. One only has to follow the instruction of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, chant the Hare Krsna maha-mantra and instruct relatives and friends in the teachings of the Bhagavad-gita and Srimad-Bhagavatam. One has to learn humility and meekness at home, following the instructions of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, and in that way one’s life will be spiritually successful. One should not try to be an artificially advanced devotee, thinking, “I am a first-class devotee.” Such thinking should be avoided. IT IS BEST NOT TO ACCEPT ANY DISCIPLES. One has to become purified at home by chanting the Hare Krsna maha-mantra and preaching the principles enunciated by Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu. Thus one can become a spiritual master and be freed from the contamination of material life.

Note: LOOKS AS IF THEY ARE going to resort CHANGING Srila Prabhupada’s words in the CURRENT VEDABASE. You can check this. IN THAT CASE, BEST STICK TO THE OLDER VERSION:
1)This is EASY to use.
2) Easy to do compilations: for saving give FILE NAME > OPEN SP FOLDER (IN “C” DRIVE).
