Vishal Das (ACBS) Departs In Vrindavan

PADA: Vishal das' body was reported to have been found in his apartment. 

He was a big fan of distributing books, and we give him a lot of credit for having that sentiment. He was sort of friendly with me, but sometimes very critical of me. I think he sort of knew I was right, but he did not want to make waves.

At one time, he severely chastised me when I was handing my "PADA newsletter" at a festival. "Why are you always creating a disturbance"? Hee hee.

Yep, hard to believe, but at one time there was no internet -- and so we photocopied our publications and either mailed them out -- or handed them out. Umm, somewhat to our peril, because we sometimes got threats and very vicious opposition. And of course, we had our other assorted and various critics -- like Vishal das.

Vishal told me "Krishna is going to fix everything, so it is not your job to try to help change the situation." I said, "Fine, but how can we say, one of the ways Krishna fixes things is -- to have people like me handing out papers? Are you trying to say I am not part and parcel of Krishna"? Sort of stumped him with that one. "Krishna wants to fix this, and He generally uses His parts and parcels to do that job for Him, but PADA is -- not -- part of Krishna"? Hee hee! 

I further replied, "So when your toilet is stopped up -- and it is flooding all over your house -- you will not pick up a toilet plunger to fix it yourself, or even bother to call a plumber -- because you will wait for Krishna to come over to your house and un-stop your toilet? How is that going to work in real, actual, practical life"? 

Another hee hee. 

So, of course he and many of my other God brothers never have had any good reply when we asked this question. My understanding of the Bhagavad Gita is: Krishna expects us to serve Him, and not to sit around and wait for Him to serve us. 

And then -- Krishna factually does "fix the situation" (in His own way) -- by having ISKCON raided by various FBI / Federal Marshals / SWAT teams and / or the local police. Krishna is also having New Vrindavan's minor aged drug mules arrested; having Laguna Beach temple raided by the FBI and police; having ISKCON sued for fraud in Federal court; having Berkeley temple raided by the police; having Hansadutta arrested with a machine gun; and in sum - Krishna is using His many various and diverse ways of making ISKCON's bogus leaders exposed in so many scandals and crimes in the media; including having ISKCON sued for $400M for child abuse and bankrupted, and having ISKCON basically turned into an empty ghost town and so on. 

And now Krishna is clamping down their economy with the virus problem. And Krishna is overall clobbering their living gurus with all sorts of scandals, sickness, madness, fall downs, strokes, virus, mystery ailments, drug addictions, sex porn addictions, and lest we forget -- a number of premature deaths. 

Wait! Then these same type devotees are sometimes cursing that "the demons are attacking ISKCON." Nope. You just said you wanted Krishna to clean up your house and its mess? And that is one of the ways He cleans up your mess, He uses His parts and parcels to do that job for Him. And these "parts and parcels of God" have been doing that clean up job all along since 1978 -- for Him? 

You folks said you wanted that Krishna should clean this up, and He is doing just as you requested? Now you are upset that Krishna is doing, what you said He should be doing? Hee hee!

Yep! The "regular mundane people" are ALSO parts of Krishna, and they are simply getting a big bucket, mop and plunger and cleaning out your over-flowing toilet mess, because you are refusing to fix it yourself. That is why Srila Prabhupada said, the people who distribute the books also have to read the books themselves. 

Allowing a stinky toilet mess to keep flowing all over the house, then all over the neighborhood etc. is NOT -- what Krishna expects or wants His devotees to be doing. So if you want Krishna to clean it up for you, it is going to be way worse than if you would do it yourself, because then He has to employ His big army to invade your house and do your cleaning job for you. 

That job should have done by a few of the people inside the house in the first place. It is amazing that these people wanted Krishna to clean up their mess, then they sort of begrudge Krishna when He does their cleaning job for them. We should applaud that He is doing that job for us?

Then again, when one of the problems we are complaining about is mass child molesting, opposing us is simply unconscionable in our opinion. It does not matter if PADA editor is a sahajiya, a trouble maker, or the village drunk. When we try to contain child molesting it is EVERYONE's duty to aid and assist PADA. Same problem we have had with the Nara narayan Visvakarma (NNV) / Pancali / Sanat / Mukunda / Prahlad / HKC Jaipur folks. Sanat knows there is molesting going on "travelling from zone to zone," but he and his pals do not report it to the police. Krishna will fix it.

So then their sex with children guru cult is taken to court, and they are crying that Krishna has had to fix their toilet overflowing mess.   

In any case, with all that being said, Vishal das is now on his way to some other situation. Eventually, he is going to figure out that we serve Krishna and not vice versa. We wish him well on his new journey, and God speed spirit soul! ys pd]
