Bangalore's Vrndavan Temple Challenged in "Green Court Plea"

[PADA: I tend to think there is already a water shortage in the Vrndavan area, and making a big project there will not be very viable -- without making an alternate water source. It is already very dry and desert - like there, and the Yamuna is already choked up with dams way before it gets to Vrndavan. In sum -- water is already a scarce commodity there.

For a big project, some sort of very large alternate water source would be needed. And I am not sure how that could be done in Vrndavan -- where they have not even made a proper sewer system in all this time. Water could be trucked in from other areas -- maybe, but that would be a big operation in itself. The water situation needs to be further evaluated there, and actually evaluated all throughout India, where scarce water supplies are getting to be a big problem in many parts of the country. ys pd]
