Another suicide at the ISKCON Gita Nagari Farm.
ISKCON News report:
On the Passing of Bhakta Esa Khalief
January 14, 2021
Dear ISKCON Family,
Please accept our humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.
We are shocked and saddened by the sudden demise of our beloved friend and resident member, Esa Khalief, on January 14, 2021, at ISKCON Gita Nagari. Many of us are struggling to make sense of Esa’s passing.
Esa spent 14 months at ISKCON Gita Nagari and during his stay here he was always helpful, enthusiastic, and devoted to the process of Krishna Consciousness. He will be deeply missed by all those who knew him. The absence of his vibrant personality will forever leave a void in the hearts of Gita Nagari residents and community members.
Although we know the soul is eternal, death can still be a bitter experience. We are also reminded that many people in these times, including Vaishnavas, struggle with deeply personal issues that others may not realize. As a community, we must accelerate our shared efforts to provide support and understanding to those who are in need.
Please continue to pray for Esa and his family and friends. I thank you for your prayers, and your concern for the wellbeing of all the residents, community members, and friends of Gita Nagari Farm.
Yours in the service of Srila Prabhupada,
Dhruva Maharaj Das -Community President
ISKCON Gita Nagari
[PADA: Ok in some cases, there are simply too much troubled persons, who just cannot be helped. I understand that argument. At the same time, we have been seeing an epidemic of ex-gurukula students suicides, some poor Russian ladies and others suicides and so on. And if these are troubled people, then the ISKCON leaders and senior elders created these troubled persons.
When the ex-gurukula suicides were going on, I reported that we have to fix this problem -- if for no other reason than -- ISKCON will eventually be caught up in an "New York Times" media story: "ISKCON children's suicide epidemic." And to my utter amazement, many devotees thought that would be great publicity for us! Yep, let our children die -- and that will help the reputation of ISKCON! Really?
Thus! Many GBC folks and their vociferous assistants like Nara Narayan das Visvakarma (Nathan Zakheim) / Sanat (Steve Voith) / Mukunda (Mark Whitely UK) / Prahlad das (Paul Coats UK) / Pancali and her son / Janardan / Dayalu Nitai's HKC Jaipur types of people evidently thought the suicides of children is a great solution, because dead people won't testify to how badly your program is treating them. Actually some of them wrote to the New York Times that they wanted to see the ISKCON children all "die in a bloodbath in Dallas." And they wrote that to the New York Times, thinking this is going to fix things?
Even Kamsahanta and various IRM folks told me that we should NOT sue to stop the suicides. "Let em all die"! Then we are surprised, that people die?
Therefore, all of them started screaming unitedly like stuck pigs, "why should we stop the suicides of ISKCON children, that is a bad idea"! So we have troubled victims who are already standing on the ledge of the building, ready to jump, and we are yelling "go ahead and jump"? Then we wonder why the karmi courts had to come forward to do something about this mess? We have people actively encouraging suicides, then we wonder why there are sometimes suicides?
And one ex-gurukula child saw his ex-child beater swami and guru being worshiped in Los Angeles, so he went home and hung himself. This stuff does not happen by chance or accident. Never mind we know many other victims who have PTSD type symptoms.
So I hate to be the one to have to point this out but, some of these suicides, or many of these suicides, are the result of odious, devious if not demonic manipulating of people psychologically. It is making some people feel hopeless, helpless, useless, and even -- that they are unwanted offenders. Or sometimes the victims start to realize they were cheated and they want back the money that they gave and so forth, and they cannot get it, so they are now in a desperate situation, and so on and so forth.
And while all this is going on, "jolly swami" Sridhar swami, Bhakti Marg swami, Mukunda swami et al. are all running around evidently trying to say this is all some sort of jolly situation. So I do not see this problem going away anytime soon as long as these psychological abusers are around. I don't know what happened in this specific case, but I would be surprised if some over suppressing manipulation was NOT going on. This is another issue that is LONG OVERDUE to be remedied and rectified. ys pd
