Dear JD, Srila Prabhupada said outright in his books that those who read his books, understand his words, and follow his instructions ARE his initiated followers. That is how I got my initiation from Srila Prabhupada, by UNDERSTANDING his words and message clearly. I am so so so happy to know and realize that Srila Prabhupadas words live on for millenia and forever thru his books. Hare Krishna and may Krishna's Mercy be bestowed upon you. Sdd
