The Emporer's New Clothes

PADA: Whoever brings out an issue generally gets the credit for doing that, however good or bad of a messenger they are. I have been criticized for many years for bringing forward all kinds of issues including: The bogus appointment issue; The GBC's violently enforced policy of offering bhogha to sex and drug addicts; The book changes issue; The child molesting issue; The poison issue -- and so on and so forth. Many devotees have hated me for doing that, including probably Govinda dasi.

Well ok, but if no one else is bringing these things up in public, whoever does gets the credit, and gets the spotlight -- by default. That is called -- the realty of life. I never wanted to be in the spotlight, nor to be chased with baseball bats etc., but hardly no one else was doing these expose things the way I was, so I just became the focus by default.

Sulochana became a focus when he went public, and of course many people hated him for the same reason. And now Govinda dasi is being the focus by default, because she is the person bringing an issue forward. And Jvalamukhi dasi is also in the spotlight because she is bringing the molesting issue up, and so on and so forth. So that is how life works, whoever goes forward with an issue -- gets credit for doing that, and gets into the spotlight. And if we do not know that, that is called, not accepting reality.

If a group of the ex-kulis wanted to make waves for say the past 10 years, simply if four of them would have gone to ISKCON festivals with signs, "Jayadvaita says acharyas have illicit sex with men, women and children, his policy has caused mass molesting of our group, so we want him banned from ISKCON." That would have had a huge impact. But they are not doing that.

Instead, the only public group of ex-kulis that I see at festivals, is a group of them that are following Radhanatha around, and he was one of the enforcers of the child molester regime, who helped get dissenters to his molester empire killed.

So this is why we have the age old story of -- "the emperor's new clothes." OK, he really had no clothes, but the only person who pointed that out was -- a child. So the child got the credit and got the spotlight, because he was the only public protester. All the rest of the people, especially all the adults, acquiesced, they went along to get along, and promoted the illusion that the king had nice clothes, but the king was naked. So that means, the child got credit for bringing that up, because, no one else would.

So right now Govinda dasi will get credit for bringing the book changes issue up because, no one else is. Its very simple really. So the person who points things out in public gets credit for that, as was well known thousands of years ago when the parable of the emporer's clothes was made. If the kulis, or anyone else, wants credit for public protest of issues, they have to make public protest of issues, that's all there is to it. ys pd

======================

PADA: Thanks prabhu, Yes, a small team of ex-kulis could bring down the entire GBC guru program in a week, if they got organized and serious about the issue. Frankly I am amazed they have not done that already. I see a group of a maybe a dozen ex-kids victims from the Catholic Church making public protests in front of big Catholic Churches from time to time, and we see this on a regular basis all over the place. But! We never see our victims doing that? And our victims were also starved and so forth, and thus they have a much more powerful complaint. So if they do not complain, they will simply not be noticed and the leaders who put them into all that abuse will continue on acting as big messiahs and gurus and so forth. ys pd
