Merry Christmas to All!

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!

WHO WILL NOT RESPECT JESUS CHRIST? "Who will not respect Jesus Christ? He sacrificed everything for God, even his life. So who is that rascal that he'll not respect to Jesus Christ. What did he do wrong to the human society? He did everything for the good of the human society. Oh, I have got very, very, great respect for Lord Jesus Christ." Srila Prabhupada's Devotees: Exiled? (Sunanda das)

What If Things Hadn't Changed?

BY: SUNANDA DAS (ACBSP)

Have you ever stopped to deeply ponder what the Hare Krishna Movement would be like if things hadn't changed after the departure of His Divine Grace Srila Prabhupada and had simply gone on as normal? This is a question especially for my Godbrothers and Sisters, within and outside ISKCON, but others will benefit from the points stated below as well.

First, and foundational to my perspective, it's a plain reality that no more than 4-5% of Srila Prabhupada's initiated disciples (around 5,000) still remain active in ISKCON. That's 250 or less! Many are no longer even spiritually active. This is sad but true, and in my estimation is possibly the most serious blow to the growth of Srila Prabhupada's movement. Putting aside for now the all too well-known reasons for such a mass exodus, what if the majority of these trained, experienced, and sincere devotees was still around? Do you think this might have made a difference in what ISKCON would be like now? There's no doubt about it.

Now, use your imagination a little and contemplate the "what if" scenario for a minute:

1. What if there were hundreds of Srila Prabhupada's disciples still managing, living in, and/or guiding the temples in the principles they were taught by him?

2. What if there were hundreds of Srila Prabhupada's disciples training new devotees in all aspects of devotional life: deity worship, cooking, etc.?

3. What if there were hundreds of Srila Prabhupada's disciples still preaching strongly and making new devotees, and training others how to do the same?

4. What if there were hundreds of Srila Prabhupada's disciples still distributing his books by the millions as they once did?

5. What if there were hundreds of Srila Prabhupada's disciples traveling to temples and inspiring all the new devotees with their realizations?

6. What if there were hundreds of Srila Prabhupada's disciples still opening new temples throughout the world?

7. What if there were hundreds of Srila Prabhupada's disciples helping to develop and organize Varnashrama Dharma as he intended?

8. What if there were hundreds of Srila Prabhupada's disciples actively developing farms and self-sustainable alternative communities?

9. What if there were hundreds of Srila Prabhupada's disciples preaching to the scientific community?

10. What if there were hundreds of Srila Prabhupada's disciples influencing world governments with Srila Prabhupada's teachings?

11. What if there were hundreds of Srila Prabhupada's disciples still going out on Harinama every day?

12. What if there were hundreds of Srila Prabhupada's disciples still preaching on College and University campuses, and amongst academicians and scholars?

The list could go on, but you get the picture. The ISKCON world would be a healthy, vibrant society, influencing and re-spiritualizing the world as Srila Prabhupada envisioned. And the mere number of empowered senior devotees would be a heavy influence against the dreaded "change disease" which has affected and infected much of the ISKCON world of today. Deviations of various sorts would not be tolerated, compromises and watering down of the philosophy and its mode of presentation would be shunned, changes to Srila Prabhupada's books would be kept to a minimum, temples would not be empty and standards would be higher, temple management would be in "local" hands as he desired, etc. Srila Prabhupada would still be front and center in the Hare Krishna Movement.

I believe many of the problems facing ISKCON today are the result of a simple lack of leadership, guidance and checks and balances from senior, experienced devotees who should have been here to carry their training down to others for the future generations. However, one thing is certain. Barring another maha-bhagavata devotee appearing to set things straight (again), Srila Prabhupada's books, recorded lectures, conversations, morning walks and letters are still there, and so there is hope that things can get back on track and the Hare Krishna Movement can become the spiritual force predicted to change the world for the next 10,000 years.

Astrological News Promotes GBC gurus?

Dear Patita Pavana Prabhu,

Hare Krishna! Till now, I was happy to receive your ASTROLOGICAL NEWSLETTER. But after reading your last newsletter, I am very doubtful about you and your writings. I am not sure if I should distance my self from you, because of your un-bonafide statements in your last newsletter. In your last letter it says: "....which devotees understand to mean full surrender to the Lord’s pure devotee and his successor acharyas."

This statement is totally bogus and nonsense. Is this your understanding or that of Abhaya Mudra Dasi?
Srila Prabhupada NEVER appointed any "successor acaryas". This is nonsense propaganda by IskCons false gurus, who deviously appointed themselves to such a position for the purpose of exploiting the members and assets of Srila Prabhupadas movement. There are NO SUCH "successor acarya" appointment.

Please stop preaching such nonsense, or show Srila Prabhupadas signed letters, to support your false assumptions. Certainly, WE DEVOTEES understand to mean (such constellations) full surrender to the Lord’s pure devotee Srila Prabhupada only, and NOT TO IskCons BOGUS SOCALLED SUCCESSOR ACARYAS.

Srila Prabhupadas "original" ISKCON movement will certainly be cleaned of all those faggot gurus and murder acaryas, BEFORE it becomes successful. After your reply to me, (explaining the subject) I will decide, what to do, If I should distance my self from you, or not? I hope your understanding on the guru issue is not perverted yet, and I hope that you are not brainwashed yet by IskCons bogus philosophy.

Yours,
in the service of Srila Prabhupada

Santa Claus Brings Joy to Vrndavana Widows (ISKCON Times)

Hare Krishna,

Santa Claus brings joy to Vrindavan widows
Hundreds of these women sang carols and danced around the beautifully decorated Xmas tree as they revelled in Christmas celebrations at the century-old Meera Sahabhagini Ashram at Vrindavan in this holy town of Lord Krishna on Sunday.

“Here, only adjustment is to live in Krishna consciousness.”
A Krishna conscious person knows that here only adjustment is to live in Krishna consciousness.

Compiling the Thiruppavai hymns
Goda had compiled 30 hymns while observing the vow and those hymns are called Thiruppavai, which is the second most translated and commented work after Bhagavad-gita.

Jai Srila Prabhupada!

Krishna Balaram Swami "ISKCON has Spiritual Brain Cancer"

Dear PADA: I visited Krishna Balaram Swamiji today and asked him about him having a half Indian, half Western child, as quoted by the anonymous ISKCON GBC devotee. Swamiji simply laughed and told me to post the following message:

"There are no real devotees in present day ISKCON. They have incurable spiritual brain cancer. Whoever believes that there are true devotees in ISKCON, their head needs to be examined. I can prove quoting all the Vedic Sanskrit scriptures of India that all the Gurus of present ISKCON -- and their disciples -- are going to become ghosts after suffer in hell (after they die), and no one can prove otherwise on the basis of the original Vedic scriptures. It is best to reform before death."

Swamiji waits for his DNA to be taken because he wants that child to come and help him in his mission.

Bhakta das: Prabhupada's Worship "A Great Cancer"

BHAKTA DASA: "Prabhu, the system was outlined in the letter above, and re-outlined, and re-re-reoutlined countless times. The Ritviks have tried to UNDO the great sampradaya spanning back billions of years to the lotus feet of Lord Brahma, and then to the Supreme Lord Govinda. And they have tried to do this by claiming that with one word--henceforward--the current acharya (who likened himself to a postman) completely changed the system. It doesn't take much to understand this system if you can sit back and take a deep breath and just try to understand for a moment that no acharya CHANGES the principles and teachings of the previous acharya. It just is not done. Ritvik philosophy is a concoction that HDG Puri Maharaja said was aimed at DESTROYING the sampradaya. It is a form of atheism and impersonalism and should not be touched by any serious devotee. It is a most regrettable cancer on the sampradaya."

===========================================

PADA: Notice that Bhakta das says that worship of Srila Prabhupada is "apasiddhanta" and "a most regrettable cancer." He is also associated with the Gaudiya Matha's BV Puri mahajra, who was a big promoter of GBC gurus like Gopal Krishna swami. Notice that Bhakta das has also recently promoted GBC gurus (as the "parampara from Krishna") like Shivarama swami, Radhanath swami, Mahanidhi swami and others. Of course, Bhakta das is also associated with many other GBC guru groupies -- like the usual suspects -- Bhumi dasi, Basu Ghosha, Gaura Keshava, Patita Pavana das etc., and he is also a fan of other Gaudiya Matha folks like Jean Prem, Bhagavat Maharaja and so on, whose leaders also supported the GBC's guru process.

Bhakta das agrees with the policy that Sivarama swami is a great devotee / guru, and Sivarama is promoting the changed books, and the whole idea that acharyas are falling into illicit sex etc. Sivarama is one of the biggest supporters of the lawsuit against Bangalore, where the GBC is wasting millions of dollars trying to destroy and rub out the worship of Srila Prabhupada. Sivarama's best pal Jayadvaita says that acharyas often fall into "illicit sex with men, women and children," with the only apparent good news that the Bhakta das program is at least not saying that God's successors are having illicit sex with goats, we have to at least give them that much credit.

In other words, the REAL reason that Srila Prabhupada's worship is being banned, and some of the devotees of Srila Prabhupada are being beaten, and even killed, is that people like Bhakta das are saying we are "a great cancer," so we devotees of Prabhupada can be banned, beaten and even -- shot to death -- for being an unwanted cancerous disease. And the Sivarama / illicit sex with men women and children pooja program is the "good and wholesome" program.

And Bhakta das is now being forwarded as a great speaker and authority not only by the GBC's guru groupies program, but also by the Prahlad / Sanat / Mukunda / Pancali team, so they are now openly promoting the people who say worship of the pure devotee Srila Prabhupada is "a cancer." Why is the Prahlad team promoting the folks whose idea is that worship of the pure devotee is "cancer"? And why do they never answer for why their team is promoting this nonsense?

Anyway, now all of you know what this banning, beating, molesting and assassinating has been going on, the leaders who orchestrated all these policies have been backed by Gaudiya Matha people like Sridhara maharaja, Narayana Maharaja and to a large extent by BV Puri and others, and are now being backed by people like Bhakta das. And Bhakta das is now openly saying that we who worship Srila Prabhupada are a dangerous cancer, that means, he is trying to get more Srila Prabhupada worshipers killed by branding them as a dangerous disease. And then the Sanat / Mukunda / Prahlad / Pancali team promote the people who are saying Srila Prabhupad worship is a great cancer, because they would also like more Prabhupada devotees to be beat and killed? Or what?

The good news is that the Bhakta das, Gaudiya Matha, Sivarama swami sabha and etc. are always dwindling in authority and influence and our Prabhupadanugas idea is gaining from strength to strength. After Bhakta das's designer drugs business was busted, and he was arrested in Puri allegedly for child porn, and he ran off to the Gaudiya Matha with Guru Kripa (after Guru Kripa told us personally that going to the Gaudiya Matha is "stabbing Srila Prabhupada in the back) you'd think he would not be considered as a very high authority and spokesman?

So if Bhakta das is the main cheer leader of the molester messiahs project, and Sanat and Prahald are his maid servants, you know that the GBC guru program is on its last legs. They cannot find any credible persons to act as their cheer leading spokesmen, so they have to rely on these fools like Bhakta das to be their cheer leaders. That is excellent news for us! Simply stated, Bhakta das has a track record of being a criminal and a supporter of the molester messiahs program, and that program is now being exposed so badly, they cannot find anyone else except guys like Bhakta das, to defend their program.

No sensible persons are coming forward to defend the illicit sex with men, women and children messiahs project, except, ok -- these bottom feeders. Goody! ys pd]

Srila Prabhupada gives all credit to his Guru Maharaja

"...In Los Angeles many fathers and mothers used to come to see me to express their feelings of gratitude for my leading the Kṛṣṇa consciousness movement throughout the entire world. Some of them said that it is greatly fortunate for the Americans that I have started the Kṛṣṇa consciousness movement in America. But actually the original father of this movement is Lord Kṛṣṇa Himself, since it was started a very long time ago but is coming down to human society by disciplic succession. If I have any credit in this connection, it does not belong to me personally, but it is due to my eternal spiritual master, His Divine Grace Om Viṣṇupāda Paramahaṁsa Parivrājakācārya 108 Śrī Śrīmad Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Gosvāmī Mahārāja Prabhupāda.."

Srila Prabhupada explains his birth in a family of transcendentalists and his meeting His Guru Maharaja

Books : Bhagavad-gita As It Is - Macmillan 1972 Edition : Bg 6: Sankhya-yoga : Bg 6.42 : PURPORT :
Birth in a family of yogīs or transcendentalists-those with great wisdom-is praised herein because the child born in such a family receives spiritual impetus from the very beginning of his life. It is especially the case in the ācārya or gosvāmī families. Such families are very learned and devoted by tradition and training, and thus they become spiritual masters. In India there are many such ācārya families, but they have now degenerated due to insufficient education and training. By the grace of the Lord, there are still families that foster transcendentalists generation after generation. It is certainly very fortunate to take birth in such families. Fortunately, both our spiritual master, Oṁ Viṣṇupāda Śrī Śrīmad Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Gosvāmī Mahārāja, and our humble self, had the opportunity to take birth in such families, by the grace of the Lord, and both of us were trained in the devotional service of the Lord from the very beginning of our lives. Later on we met by the order of the transcendental system

Srimad-Bhagavatam : Canto 1:"Creation" : SB Introduction : SB Introduction :
Many devotees of Lord Caitanya like Śrīla Vṛndāvana dāsa Ṭhākura, Śrī Locana dāsa Ṭhākura, Śrīla Kṛṣṇadāsa Kavirāja Gosvāmī, Śrī Kavikarṇapūra, Śrī Prabodhānanda Sarasvatī, Śrī Rūpa Gosvāmī, Śrī Sanātana Gosvāmī, Śrī Raghunātha Bhaṭṭa Gosvāmī, Śrī Jīva Gosvāmī, Śrī Gopāla Bhaṭṭa Gosvāmī, Śrī Raghunātha dāsa Gosvāmī and in this latter age within two hundred years, Śrī Viśvanātha Cakravartī, Śrī Baladeva Vidyābhūṣana, Śrī Śyāmānanda Gosvāmī, Śrī Narottama dāsa Ṭhākura, Śrī Bhaktivinoda Ṭhākura and at last Śrī Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura (our spiritual master) and many other great and renowned scholars and devotees of the Lord have prepared voluminous books and literatures on the life and precepts of the Lord. Such literatures are all based on the śāstras like the Vedas, Purāṇas, Upaniṣads, Rāmāyaṇa, Mahābhārata and other histories and authentic literatures approved by the recognized ācāryas. They are unique in composition and unrivaled in presentation, and they are full of transcendental knowledge.

Unfortunately the people of the world are still ignorant of them, but when these literatures, which are mostly in Sanskrit and Bengali, come to light the world and when they are presented before thinking people, then India's glory and the message of love will overflood this morbid world, which is vainly searching after peace and prosperity by various illusory methods not approved by the ācāryas in the chain of disciplic succession.

Srila Prabhupada credits His Guru Maharaja for helping him to revive his old habit of deity worship

Books : Srimad-Bhagavatam : Canto 1:"Creation" : SB 1.12: Birth of Emperor Pariksit : SB 1.12.30 : PURPORT :

Śrīla Jīva Gosvāmī remarks in this connection that every child, if given an impression of the Lord from his very childhood, certainly becomes a great devotee of the Lord like Mahārāja Parīkṣit. One may not be as fortunate as Mahārāja Parīkṣit to have the opportunity to see the Lord in the womb of his mother, but even if he is not so fortunate, he can be made so if the parents of the child desire him to be so. There is a practical example in my personal life in this connection. My father was a pure devotee of the Lord, and when I was only four or five years old, my father gave me a couple of forms of Rādhā and Kṛṣṇa. In a playful manner, I used to worship these Deities along with my sister, and I used to imitate the performances of a neighboring temple of Rādhā-Govinda.

By constantly visiting this neighboring temple and copying the ceremonies in connection with my own Deities of play, I developed a natural affinity for the Lord. My father used to observe all the ceremonies befitting my position. Later on, these activities were suspended due to my association in the schools and colleges, and I became completely out of practice. But in my youthful days, when I met my spiritual master, Śrī Śrīmad Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Gosvāmī Mahārāja, again I revived my old habit, and the same playful Deities became my worshipful Deities in proper regulation. This was followed up until I left the family connection, and I am pleased that my generous father gave the first impression which was developed later into regulative devotional service by His Divine Grace. Mahārāja Prahlāda also advised that such impressions of a godly relation must be impregnated from the beginning of childhood, otherwise one may miss the opportunity of the human form of life, which is very valuable although it is temporary like others.

Srila Prabhupada explains the power of sadhu-sanga and the powerful favor of His Guru Maharaja

Books : Srimad-Bhagavatam : Canto 1:"Creation" : SB 1.13: Dhrtarastra Quits Home : SB 1.13.29 : PURPORT :

Lord Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu, the great preacher of the principles of Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam, has stressed the importance of association with sādhus, pure devotees of the Lord. He said that even by a moments association with a pure devotee, one can achieve all perfection. We are not ashamed to admit that this fact was experienced in our practical life. Were we not favored by His Divine Grace Śrīmad Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Gosvāmī Mahārāja, by our first meeting for a few minutes only, it would have been impossible for us to accept this mighty task of describing Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam in English. Without seeing him at that opportune moment, we could have become a very great business magnate, but never would we have been able to walk the path of liberation and be engaged in the factual service of the Lord under instructions of His Divine Grace.

Srila Prabhupada explains the about the power of a true representative of the Lord like Srimad Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura

Books : Srimad-Bhagavatam : Canto 2: "The Cosmic Manifestation" : SB 2.8: Questions by King Pariksit : SB 2.8.5 : PURPORT :

In other words, the cleansing of the polluted heart by other methods (like the culture of empiric knowledge or mystic gymnastics) can simply cleanse one's own heart, but devotional service to the Lord is so powerful that it can cleanse the hearts of the people in general, by the devotional service of the pure, empowered devotee. A true representative of the Lord like Nārada, Śukadeva Gosvāmī, Lord Caitanya, the six Gosvāmīs and later Śrīla Bhaktivinoda Ṭhākura and Śrīmad Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura, etc., can deliver all people by their empowered devotional service.

Srila Prabhupada describes His Guru Maharaja as an avowed brahmacari
Books : Srimad-Bhagavatam : Canto 3: "The Status Quo" : SB 3.12: Creation of the Kumaras and Others : SB 3.12.42 : PURPORT :

During student life the brahmacārīs were given full instructions about the importance of the human form of life. Thus the basic education was designed to encourage the student in becoming free from family encumbrances. Only students unable to accept such a vow in life were allowed to go home and marry a suitable wife. Otherwise, the student would remain a permanent brahmacārī, observing complete abstinence from sex life for his whole life. It all depended on the quality of the student’s training. We had the opportunity to meet an avowed brahmacārī in the personality of our spiritual master, Oṁ Viṣṇupāda Śrī Śrīmad Bhaktisiddhānta Gosvāmī Mahārāja. Such a great soul is called a naiṣṭhika-brahmacārī.

Srila Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Gosvāmī Mahārāja, who at the present moment is preaching the philosophy of Lord Caitanya throughout the entire world through his bona fide disciples.

Books : Srimad-Bhagavatam : Canto 3: "The Status Quo" : SB 3.22: The Marriage of Kardama Muni and Devahuti : SB 3.22.19 : PURPORT :

After fulfilling his responsibility to produce a nice child, one should take sannyāsa and engage in the perfectional paramahaṁsa stage. paramahaṁsa refers to the most highly elevated perfectional stage of life. There are four stages within sannyāsa life, and paramahaṁsa is the highest order. The Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam is called the paramahaṁsa-saṁhitā, the treatise for the highest class of human beings. The paramahaṁsa is free from envy. In other stages, even in the householder stage of life, there is competition and envy, but since the activities of the human being in the paramahaṁsa stage are completely engaged in Kṛṣṇa consciousness, or devotional service, there is no scope for envy. In the same order as Kardama Muni, about one hundred years ago, Ṭhākura Bhaktivinoda also wanted to beget a child who could preach the philosophy and teachings of Lord Caitanya to the fullest extent. By his prayers to the Lord he had as his child Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Gosvāmī Mahārāja, who at the present moment is preaching the philosophy of Lord Caitanya throughout the entire world through his bona fide disciples.

Srila Prabhupada explains that Gaura kishora accepted Bhaktisidhanta Sarasvati as His disciple
Books : Srimad-Bhagavatam : Canto 4: "The Creation of the Fourth Order" : SB 4.2: Daksa Curses Lord Siva : SB 4.2.18 : PURPORT :

Because of this curse, Śiva was deprived of his share in the oblations of Vedic sacrifices. It was due to the curse of Dakṣa, Śrī Viśvanātha Cakravartī comments in this connection, that Lord Śiva was saved from the calamity of taking part with other demigods, who were all materialistic. Lord Śiva is the greatest devotee of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, and it is not fitting for him to eat or sit with materialistic persons like the demigods. Thus the curse of Dakṣa was indirectly a blessing, for Śiva would not have to eat or sit with other demigods, who were too materialistic. There is a practical example set for us by Gaurakiśora dāsa Bābājī Mahārāja, who used to sit on the side of a latrine to chant Hare Kṛṣṇa. Many materialistic persons used to come and bother him and disturb his daily routine of chanting, so to avoid their company he used to sit by the side of a latrine, where materialistic persons would not go because of the filth and the obnoxious smell. However, Gaurakiśora dāsa Bābājī Mahārāja was so great that he was accepted as the spiritual master of such a great personality as His Divine Grace Oṁ Viṣṇupāda Śrī Śrīmad Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Gosvāmī Mahārāja. The conclusion is that Lord Śiva behaved in his own way to avoid materialistic persons who might disturb him in his prosecution of devotional service.

Srila Prabhupada says that He simply following in the footsteps of His Guru Maharaja jn fullfilling the prediction of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu

Books : Srimad-Bhagavatam : Canto 4: "The Creation of the Fourth Order" : SB 4.22: Prthu Maharaja's Meeting with the Four Kumaras : SB 4.22.42 : PURPORT : When Lord Viṣṇu appeared in the great arena of sacrifice at the time when King Pṛthu was performing a great sacrifice (aśvamedha), He predicted that the Kumāras would very soon come and advise the King. Therefore Pṛthu Mahārāja remembered the causeless mercy of the Lord and thus welcomed the arrival of the Kumāras, who were fulfilling the Lord’s prediction. In other words, when the Lord makes a prediction, He fulfills that prediction through some of His devotees. Similarly, Lord Caitanya Mahāprabhu predicted that both His glorious names and the Hare Kṛṣṇa mahā-mantra would be broadcast in all the towns and villages of the world. Śrīla Bhaktivinoda Ṭhākura and Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Prabhupāda desired to fulfill this great prediction, and we are following in their footsteps.

Srila Prabhupada explains how everyone can follow in the footsteps of Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura
Books : Srimad-Bhagavatam : Canto 4: "The Creation of the Fourth Order" : SB 4.23: Maharaja Prthu's
Going Back Home : SB 4.23.5 : PURPORT :

Śrīla Rūpa Gosvāmī, after retiring from his minister’s seat in the government, went to Vṛndāvana and lived beneath a tree, like Mahārāja Pṛthu. Since then, many people have gone to Vṛndāvana to imitate Rūpa Gosvāmī’s behavior. Instead of advancing in spiritual life, many have fallen into material habits and even in Vṛndāvana have become victims of illicit sex, gambling and intoxication. The Kṛṣṇa consciousness movement has been introduced in the Western countries, but it is not possible for Westerners to go to the forest and practice the severe austerities which were ideally practiced by Pṛthu Mahārāja or Rūpa Gosvāmī. However, Westerners or anyone else can follow in the footsteps of Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura by living in a temple, which is transcendental to residence in a forest, and to vow to accept kṛṣṇa-prasāda and nothing else, follow the regulative principles and chant sixteen rounds daily of the Hare Kṛṣṇa mantra. In this way, one’s spiritual life will never be disturbed.

Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura explains the unwanted creepers of bhakti

Books : Sri Caitanya-caritamrta - 1975 Edition : Cc. Madhya-lila : Madhya 19: Lord Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu Instructs Srila Rupa Gosvami : Madhya 19.160 : PURPORT : 'nisiddhacara', 'kutinati', jiva-himsana' 'labha', 'puja', 'pratisthadi' yata upasakha-gana :

The unwanted creepers have been described by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura. He states that if one hears and chants without trying to give up offenses, one becomes materially attached to sense gratification. One may also desire freedom from material bondage like the Māyāvādīs, or one may become attached to the yoga-siddhis and desire wonderful yogic powers. If one is attached to wonderful material activities, one is called siddhi-lobhī, greedy for material perfection. One may also be victimized by diplomatic or crooked behavior, or one may associate with women for illicit sex. Others may make a show of devotional service like the prākṛta-sahajiyās, or one may try to support his philosophy by joining some caste or identifying himself with a certain dynasty, claiming a monopoly on spiritual advancement. Thus with the support of family tradition, one may become a pseudo guru or so-called spiritual master.

One may become attached to the four sinful activities-illicit sex, intoxication, gambling and meat eating, or one may consider a Vaiṣṇava to belong to a mundane caste or creed. One may think, "This is a Hindu Vaiṣṇava, and this is a European Vaiṣṇava. A European Vaiṣṇava is not allowed to enter the temples." In other words, one may consider Vaiṣṇavas in terms of birth, thinking one a brāhmaṇa Vaiṣṇava, a śūdra Vaiṣṇava, a mleccha Vaiṣṇava and so on. One may also try to carry out a professional business while chanting the Hare Kṛṣṇa mantra or reading Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam, or one may try to increase his monetary strength by illegal means. One may also try to be a cheap Vaiṣṇava by chanting in a secluded place for material adoration, or one may desire mundane reputation by making compromises with nondevotees, compromising one's philosophy or spiritual life, or one may become a supporter of a hereditary caste system. All these are pitfalls of personal sense gratification. Just to cheat some innocent people, one makes a show of advanced spiritual life and becomes known as a sādhu, mahātmā or religious person. All this means that the so-called devotee has become victimized by all these unwanted creepers and that the real creeper of bhakti-latā-bīja has been stunted.

Kirtanananda swami Is Still A Saint?

Prabhu, yes Radhanath swami, Gopal Krishna swami and other GBC leaders just now buried Kirtanananda in a samadhi the holy dham. Only pure devotees -- aka residents of Krishna loka -- are supposed to be allowed to be buried in the dham. So Kirtanananda has not been kicked out at all, rather he is still with us in the holy dham under the supervision of the GBC.

Kirtanananda is now their newly appointed resident of Krishna loka, and ISKCON people are going there to worship him. And other GBC helped get the U.P. district burial permits, and did other legal work to obtain the legal use of the property to assist in this burial of Kirtanananda. My friends were there and ISKCON was making a parikrama for people to go from the Kirtanananda site around Vrndavana, and back to the samadhi site -- singing the glories of Kirtanananda. Sorry, the worship of pedophiles has never stopped, its still going on in Vrndavana. ys pd

[PADA NOTE: And this is why Bhakta das is promoting Radhanath swami, he is still in league with the people who promote the worship of pedophiles as messiahs process. And Sanat / Mukunda / Prahlad / Pancali / Nicklaus Evans are promoting Bhakta das (Prahlad's best pal Sanat has made a video to promote Bhakta das), because they are all still in the camp of Bhakta dasa, which promotes Radhanatha, and which worships pedophiles in the holy dham. We do not worship pedophiles, hence all these above people are currently infuriated with PADA.

Anyway, our job is to expose the worship of child molesters -- and the promoters and boot lickers of molester pooja -- like the above group. We do not care what anyone says, we are not going to worship pedophiles, or support those in that process.

We do not care how much these Bhakta das / Radhanath / Kirtanananda groupies like Prahlad attack us, insult us, call us names, or even if they kill us, we will never surrender to their deviated agenda, EVER, plain and simple. We want to worship pure devotees in the holy dham, and they want to support the people promoting pedophile worship in the holy dham. Yes as a matter of fact its only these few sick people who want that agenda. 9999999.999999 percent of the rest of the world agrees with PADA that is is a serious deviation. Prahlad now says we are making this up, nope, we have all seen their video of their working with that Bhakta das / Radhanatha agenda. ys pd]

Akshaya Patra to Receive 55 Crore Rupees (ISKCON news)

Hare Krishna,

Akshaya Patra receives Rs 55 cr from Tata Trust
The mission of Akshaya Patra is to reach 5 million children by 2020. This initiative will empower us to take a few steps towards our goal. We are grateful to the Jamsetji Tata Trust for having seen value in associating with our programme," said Madhu Pandit Dasa, Chairman, Akshaya Patra Foundation.

“You are blind, but I can see.”
At one point he came to the corner of the building and stopped so suddenly that devotees almost ran into him. He turned around and said in a grave voice, “You are blind, but I can see.” We didn’t know what to say. Nobody said anything. We went around again. When we got back to the same spot and without saying anything Prabhupada pointed to a light that was on.

Vallabha Deva becomes a disciple of Vishnu-Chitta
Vallabha Deva rose from his seat and fell at Vishnu-Chitta’s feet and requested Vishnu-Chitta to accept him as a disciple. Thus Vallabha Deva became a disciple of Vishnu-Chitta.

Jai Srila Prabhupada!

Dusyanta Muddle Continues (reply by Mahesh Raja)

This is a reply to Duysanta das whose articlehttp://www.harekrsna.com/sun/editorials/12-13/editorials11136.htm
Duysanta :“What they did not do was to publish the quotes from Srila Prabhupada’s Cc Adi 1.58 and then prove that the Ritvik theory was still applicable, with substantial quotes from Srila Prabhupada”
Mahesh: Duysanta das you are Soooooo IGNORANT that you just don’t get it. THEN you accuse us Prabhupadanugas of calling names. The FACT is you are in TAMO GUNA. Just ACCEPT the TRUTH!!!
10.4-5 P The Opulence of the Absolute
SATYAM, TRUTHFULNESS, MEANS THAT FACTS SHOULD BE PRESENTED AS THEY ARE FOR THE BENEFIT OF OTHERS. FACTS SHOULD NOT BE MISREPRESENTED. According to social conventions, it is said that one can speak the truth only when it is palatable to others. But that is not truthfulness. The truth should be spoken in a straight and forward way, so that others will understand actually what the facts are. If a man is a thief and if people are warned that he is a thief, that is truth. ALTHOUGH SOMETIMES THE TRUTH IS UNPALATABLE, ONE SHOULD NOT REFRAIN FROM SPEAKING IT. TRUTHFULNESS DEMANDS THAT THE FACTS BE PRESENTED AS THEY ARE FOR THE BENEFIT OF OTHERS. THAT IS THE DEFINITION OF TRUTH.
Anyway, here is an answer QUOTING Adi 1.58 this is done in SPOON-FEED way just like feeding a small baby HOPING Duysanta will get it this time.
Adi 1.35 The Spiritual Masters: THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE SPIRITUAL MASTER’S INSTRUCTIONS AND THE SPIRITUAL MASTER HIMSELF. IN HIS ABSENCE, THEREFORE, HIS WORDS OF DIRECTION SHOULD BE THE PRIDE OF THE DISCIPLE.
Note: Srila Prabhupada is THE SPIRITUAL MASTER from WHOSE BOOKS and CDs WE ALL take OUR DISCIPLINE

Adi 1.35 The Spiritual Masters: GENERALLY A SPIRITUAL MASTER WHO CONSTANTLY INSTRUCTS A DISCIPLE IN SPIRITUAL SCIENCE BECOMES HIS INITIATING SPIRITUAL MASTER LATER ON.
Note: Srila Prabhupada is THAT LIBERTED DEVOTEE WHO APPEARS BEFORE US AS HIS BOOKS, Cds, TAPES means “The preceptor appears before the EXTERNAL SENSES of the fortunate conditioned soul” Books are PHYSICAL so YOU can VISUALISE Srila Prabhuapada as his BOOKS before the external senses THE EYES, and the EARS when you HEAR his Cds, Tapes, mp3′s are ALL about application of EXTERNAL SENSES.

Adi 1.58 The Spiritual Masters: Since one cannot visually experience the presence of the Supersoul, He appears before us as A LIBERATED DEVOTEE. Such a spiritual master is none other than Krsna Himself.
PURPORT: It is not possible for a conditioned soul to directly meet Krsna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, but if one becomes a sincere devotee and seriously engages in devotional service, Lord Krsna sends an instructing spiritual master to show him favor and invoke his dormant propensity for serving the Supreme. The preceptor appears before the EXTERNAL SENSES of the fortunate conditioned soul, and at the same time the devotee is guided from within by the caittya-guru, Krsna, who is seated as the spiritual master within the heart of the living entity.
Note: Srila Prabhupada is THAT POWERFUL MAHA-BHAGAVATA WHO ALWAYS CARRIES THE SUPREME PERSONALITY IF GODHEAD IN HIS HEART:
SB 10.2.18 P Prayers by the Demigods for Lord Krsna in the Womb
As indicated here by the word manastah, the Supreme Personality of Godhead was transferred from the core of Vasudeva’s mind or heart to the core of the heart of Devaki. WE SHOULD NOTE CAREFULLY THAT THE LORD WAS ***TRANSFERRED*** TO DEVAKI NOT BY THE ORDINARY WAY FOR A HUMAN BEING, BUT BY DIKSA, INITIATION. THUS THE IMPORTANCE OF INITIATION IS MENTIONED HERE. UNLESS ONE IS INITIATED BY THE RIGHT PERSON, WHO ALWAYS CARRIES WITHIN HIS HEART THE SUPREME PERSONALITY OF GODHEAD, ONE CANNOT ACQUIRE THE POWER TO CARRY THE SUPREME GODHEAD WITHIN THE CORE OF ONE’S OWN HEART.
Note: in the Madhyama adhikari stage there is INITIATION ALSO:
Antya 4.192 T Sanatana Gosvami Visits the Lord at Jagannatha Puri / DIKSA-KALE bhakta kare atma-samarpana / sei-kale krsna tare kare atma-sama
Antya 4.192 Sanatana Gosvami Visits the Lord at Jagannatha Puri “AT THE TIME OF INITIATION, when a devotee fully surrenders unto the service of the Lord, Krsna accepts him to be as good as Himself.
Antya 4.193 Sanatana Gosvami Visits the Lord at Jagannatha Puri “When the devotee’s body is thus transformed into spiritual existence, the devotee, in that transcendental body, renders service to the lotus feet of the Lord.
Antya 4.194 Sanatana Gosvami Visits the Lord at Jagannatha Puri: ” ‘The living entity who is subjected to birth and death, when he gives up all material activities dedicating his life to Me for executing My order, and thus acts according to My direction, AT THAT TIME HE REACHES THE PLATFORM OF IMMORTALITY, and becomes fit to enjoy the spiritual bliss of exchange of loving mellows with Me.’
Antya 4.194 Sanatana Gosvami Visits the Lord at Jagannatha Puri PURPORT
This is a quotation from Srimad-Bhagavatam (11.29.34). At the time of INITIATION, a devotee gives up all his material conceptions. Therefore, being in touch with the Supreme Personality of Godhead, he is situated on the transcendental platform. THUS HAVING ATTAINED KNOWLEDGE AND THE SPIRITUAL PLATFORM, HE ALWAYS ENGAGES IN THE SERVICE OF THE SPIRITUAL BODY OF KRSNA. WHEN ONE IS FREED FROM MATERIAL CONNECTIONS IN THIS WAY, HIS BODY IMMEDIATELY BECOMES SPIRITUAL, AND KRSNA ACCEPTS HIS SERVICE.
However, Krsna does not accept anything from a person with a material conception of life.
NoI 5: A MADHYAMA-ADHIKARI HAS RECEIVED SPIRITUAL INITIATION FROM THE SPIRITUAL MASTER AND HAS BEEN FULLY ENGAGED BY HIM IN THE TRANSCENDENTAL LOVING SERVICE OF THE LORD.
Note: Srila Prabhupada is THAT Maha-bhagavata WHO STILL gives INITIATION at MADHYAMA-ADHIKARI STAGE so there is ONLY ONE INITIATOR THROUGHOUT THE PROCESS and Ritvik Representative gives the HOLY NAME ON BEHALF of Srila Prabhupada the ACTUAL INITIATOR.
NoD 8 Offenses to Be Avoided: The offenses against the chanting of the holy name are as follows: (3) To disobey the orders of the spiritual master.
Madhya 24.330 The Sixty-One Explanations of the Atmarama Verse: MAHA-BHAGAVATA-srestho /brahmano vai gurur nrnam / sarvesam eva lokanam / asau pujyo yatha harih
maha-kula-prasuto ‘pi / sarva-yajnesu DIKSITAH / sahasra-sakhadhyayi ca / na guruh syad avaisnavah
((The guru MUST be situated on the topmost platform of devotional service. There are three classes of devotees, and the guru MUST be accepted from the topmost class. The first-class devotee is the spiritual master for all kinds of people. ….When one has attained the topmost position of MAHA-BHAGAVATA, he is to be accepted as a guru and worshiped exactly like Hari, the Personality of Godhead. Only such a person is eligible to occupy the post of a guru.))
Note The word DIKSITAH refers to Diksa and ONLY Maha Bhagavata is the one mentioned WHO give this BY DEFINITION.
Note: the Initiation refered to HERE below is DIFFERENT from the Initiation given at the STAGE of MADHYAMA-ADHIKARI. The formality of 1st and 2nd initiation is given HERE by RITVIK REPRESENTATIVES on BEHALF OF Srila Prabhupada. Everyone KNEW they were CONDITIONED souls. CONDITIONED SOULS CAN NOT TRASFER KRSNA INTO YOUR HEART HENCE THE FORMALITY OF ONLY 1ST AND 2ND INITATIONS.
761016iv.cha Conversations: Interviewer: What is the procedure of the movement? Do you initiate yourself all the disciples or do your other disciples also do that?
Prabhupada: Well, initiation or no initiation, first thing is knowledge. (break) …knowledge. INITIATION IS FORMALITY. JUST LIKE YOU GO TO A SCHOOL FOR KNOWLEDGE, AND ADMISSION IS FORMALITY. THAT IS NOT VERY IMPORTANT THING.
Srila Prabhupada is the ONE initiator Spiritual Master: KB 80 The Meeting of Lord Krsna with Sudama Brahmana
“If a man is sufficiently educated in student life under the guidance of a proper teacher, then his life becomes successful in the future. He can very easily cross over the ocean of nescience, and he is not subjected to the influence of illusory energy. My dear friend, everyone should consider his father to be his first teacher because by the mercy of one’s father one gets this body. The father is therefore the natural spiritual master. Our next spiritual master is he who initiates us into transcendental knowledge, and he is to be worshiped as much as I am. The spiritual master may be more than one. The spiritual master who instructs the disciples about spiritual matters is called siksa-guru, and the spiritual master who initiates the disciple is called diksa-guru. Both of them are My representatives. There may be many spiritual masters who instruct, BUT THE INITIATOR SPIRITUAL MASTER IS ONE.
Note: WHY these Duysanta type of people can NOT grasp this VERY simple thing is because he is in TAMO GUNA:
740615rc.par Conversations: Yogesvara: “Is there some, any qualities, in the sense that some people have more receptivity towards the divine than other people?”
Prabhupada: Yes. That I explained, sattva-guna, rajo-guna, tamo-guna. Those who are in sattva-guna, they can understand easily. Those who are in rajo-guna, they have got difficulty. AND THOSE WHO ARE IN TAMO-GUNA, THEY CANNOT. (French)
You can ONLY be a Disciple of ONE who gives YOU the discipline and ALL the DISCIPLINE is coming FROM Srila Prabhupada
In ISKCON we are ALL being DISCIPLINED by Srila Prabhupada (we receive instructions (DISCIPLINE) FROM Srila Prabhupada’s books. Even the most basic discipline, 16 rounds of Hare Krishna Mantra and four Regulative Principles are coming FROM Srila Prabhupada. Common sense — if you ARE being disciplined BY Srila Prabhupada then it follows you ARE Srila Prabhupada’s disciple. How can it be otherwise?
The MEANING of the word “disciple”
Srila Prabhupada’s Morning Walk, March 8, 1976 in Mayapur:
Prabhupada: “Discipline… Disciple means discipline. The word discipline comes from disciple, or disciple comes from discipline. So unless there is discipline, there is no question of disciple. This discipline must… That should be uniform. Otherwise, sisya… sisya, the word sisya, it comes from the root, verb, sas-dhatu. sas. sas means ruling. From this word, sasana. Sasana means government. sastra. sashtra means weapon, and sastra, scripture, and sisya… These things have come from the one root sas-dhatu. So sas-dhatu means ruling under discipline. There is another English word, that “Obedience is the first law of discipline,” or something. They say, “Obedience is the first law of discipline”? So I am right? “Obedience is…”? That is the…
Tamala Krsna: Yes, that’s more or less what it is.
Prabhupada: No, what is the word, exact. There is an English word. “Obedience is the first law of discipline.” So unless there is obedience, there cannot be any discipline. And unless there is discipline, there is no question of disciple. DISCIPLE MEANS ONE WHO FOLLOWS DISCIPLINE.”
Discipline comes from Srila Prabhupada. We are actually being disciplined by Srila Prabhupada. It is Srila Prabhupada who has given us the regulative principles of no meat, fish or eggs; no intoxication (including tea and coffee), no illicit sex, and no gambling. It is Srila Prabhupada who has made it a regulative principle for us to chant sixteen rounds on the beads HARE KRSNA HARE KRSNA KRSNA KRSNA HARE HARE /HARE RAMA HARE RAMA RAMA RAMA HARE HARE.
Srila Prabhupada’s books contain all the instructions, the guidance required for us to get ourselves out of the clutches of the modes of material nature. In fact, Srila Prabhupada is personally present as his books.
The Guru HOAX: they were CONDITIONED souls NOT acarya hence NO ORDER:
Srila Prabhupada Room Conversation, Bombay, April 22, 1977:
Prabhupada: What is the use of producing some rascal guru?
Tamala Krsna: Well, I have studied myself and all of your disciples, and it’s clear fact that we are all conditioned souls, so we cannot be guru. Maybe one day it may be possible…
Prabhupada: Hm.
Tamala Krsna: …but not now.
Prabhupada: Yes. I shall choose some guru. I shall SAY, “Now you become ACARYA. You become authorized.” I am waiting for that. You become all acarya. I retire completely. But the training must be complete.
Note: Guru MUST be on Uttama Adhikari stage. But aside from that he needs an ORDER from his Guru to be ACARYA.
Srila Prabhupada Conversation, May 28, 1977, Vrindavan:
Prabhupada: “WHEN I order, “You become guru,” he becomes regular guru. That’s all. He becomes disciple of my disciple. That’s it.”
“When I order” -- NO ORDER WAS GIVEN on the contrary the ONLY instruction that followed TWO months AFTER was as per 9th July 1977, that they were to act in the capacity of Ritvik Representative of Acarya and the disciples initiated would be Srila Prabhupada’s, NOT theirs.
Srila Prabhupada Lecture on Bhagavad-gita, October 28, 1975, Nairobi:
Prabhupada: ”Try to understand. Don’t go very speedily. A guru can become guru when he’s ORDERED by his guru. That’s all. Otherwise nobody can become guru.”
Srila Prabhupada Lecture on Nectar of Devotion, October 31. 1972
“Self-made guru cannot be guru. HE MUST BE AUTHORIZED BY THE BONA FIDE GURU.
Note: As we can clearly see from Tamal Krishna’s earlier comment in April 1977, “Well, I have studied myself and all of your disciples, and it’s clear fact that we are ALL CONDITIONED souls, so we CANNOT be guru. ”
BUT just AFTER 7 months in NOVEMBER, the departure of Srila Prabhupada, he was deceitful, he CHEATED, thus began the Guru HOAX in ISKCON.
