UPDATE ON THE GLOBAL VAISHNAVI DIKSHA GURU COMMITTEE

Hare Krishna Devotees,

Please accept our humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

The Global Vaishnavi Diksha Guru (VDG) Committee held its inaugural meeting on 14 July 2026 under the chairmanship of Govardhana Dasa, First Vice-Chairman of the GBC Executive Committee. The committee has been established by the ISKCON Governing Body Commission (GBC) to facilitate dialogue and consultation on the subject of Vaishnavi Diksha Gurus and to prepare a proposal for consideration by the GBC at its 2026 Midterm Meeting.

The committee includes representatives nominated by the Africa Regional Governing Body, Euro Regional Governing Body, India Bureau, Latin America Regional Governing Body, North American Regional Governing Body, Singapore & Far East, and Middle East. Invitations were also extended to the Chinese Council and Russian Governing Council, both of which chose not to nominate representatives for the committee.

Its mandate is to study the relevant GBC resolutions and supporting submissions, engage in respectful dialogue and consultation, and prepare a proposal for consideration by the GBC.

During its first meeting, the committee:

- approved its Terms of Reference and meeting schedule;

- reviewed the relevant GBC resolutions that forms the basis of its work;

- heard introductory perspectives from regional representatives; and

- agreed on the process and agenda for future meetings.

The committee will continue meeting through October 2026, with structured presentations, discussions, and consultation forming part of its deliberations.
As part of its work, the committee also intends to invite senior Vaishnavas to share their perspectives during future meetings. Regular updates on the committee's work will be shared with the ISKCON community as the deliberations progress.

PADA Heh heh heh. A woman sent me this and she said -- great, after all the ISKCON women are already alienated out, fried out, burnt out, removed, dead, gone, blooped, or they hate ISKCON, or want to sue ISKCON, or they are in the hospital with cancer, now all of a sudden they might be made into gurus. 

No! There is no one left to make into a guru, they are all gone. The GBC are running out the clock. But no sane woman would even want to be a fellow GBC member in their assembly anyway, these men are way too creepy. Even if they make some token women gurus, it is too late, the women a done with them.

JAYAPATAKA SUPPORTED THE ABUSERS

RD: Hooley Dooley, that is one hell of a post. I believe it all unfortunately. During my time in the Mayapur as a gurukula teacher I just couldn't understand Jayapataka's indifference and reluctance to deal with and correct all the disgusting goings on within the institution. I was young and naive and that was the beginning of the end for me. I've tried to not criticize unnecessarily over the years but it's hard to ignore the facts. His support of Anirdesya Vapu and others was terrible.

THE STINKY DIRTY LAUNDRY GURU SAMPRADAYA

Hats off to you sir, for the tremendous amount of energy you are putting into a controversy that's best left alone. Why do you not shudder at the thought of hurting Srila Prabhupada? Why don't you both parties leave each other alone and stop washing this dirty and stinking linen in public?

PADA: Swell. We should allow the GBC's intoxicated womanizer // dirty stinky laundry guru parampara to represent themselves as Krishna's guru successors. Why do some people think we should make dirty stinky laundry // intoxicated womanizers into Krishna's guru successors -- in the first place? Even our mleccha culture knows -- dirty stinky laundry // intoxicated womanizers are not, were not, could have been -- God's guru successors.

But this is amazing, now they are saying Krishna's guru successors parampara is full of dirty stinky laundry. How do God's guru successors become dirty stinky laundry?

Worse, saying God's successors are NOT ONLY dirty stinky laundry, but the stinky acharyas should be allowed and not challenged. We should allow Krishna's successors to be designated as dirty stinky laundry, and not challenge that. Why is anyone promoting dirty stinky laundry as God's successors -- in the first place? Hello! 

Sorry, God is pure and His successors are pure, and the idea that God's successors are oftentimes dirty stinky laundry and fallen is -- false. Krishna and dirty stinky laundry should never be juxtaposed and combined together, that is simple common sense. "All glories to the GBC's dirty stinky laundry guru parampara" is never found in Vedic shastra, or even mleccha shastra. 

Not to be outdone, the HKC Jaipur / Mathura Pati / Prabhupadanugas EU / Prahlad das / Bhakta Peter / Kamsahanta / Bhakta das group says that PADA should not criticize their "smelly stinky stools" guru sampradaya. Why should anyone stop people from worshiping their smelly stinky stools guru program, that also molests kids? Sulochana had them all figured out, he says they promote worshiping "sex with stools." 

So yeah, the defenders of stinky dirty laundry and / or stinky stools sampradayas are never happy when their program is exposed. People ask me this, why do these guys -- like HKC Jaipur -- defend their smelly stinky stools guru program, that molests kids, and they promote the defenders, and they are angry we are stopping people from worshiping their stinky stool sampradaya? 

Right! These folks don't even know that their smelly stinky stools program is not Krishna's guru successors. And thus they defend worshiping stinky stools. WTF! And that is why Srila Prabhupada had to tell us DO NOT MAKE IT A STOOL SOCIETY. He knew what these people could do. And they did. 

And worse, even after all this, they still defend their stinky smelly guru process. The good news is, more people are agreeing with PADA, these people are dangerous deviants. But hey this is Kali Yuga, and worshiping deviants will become prominent, and opposing will be dangerous, it is a given.

SHEESH PILGRIMS -- THE DIRTY STINKY LAUNDRY GURU SUCCESSION!

MMD: Never thought I would end up agreeing with GBC and HKC Jaipur. Yes in dee dee, they have a stinky poops guru sampradaya. 

Only disagreement? We should not criticize their stinky poops guru sampradaya. That makes us enablers. We have to criticize ... or be counted as one of their sheeples. 

Amazing ... Gaudiya Matha Keshava Maharaja also says "we have stuck our hands into poop and everyone can smell it." Now ISKCON has the same poops smell. That is what happens ... when history repeats. We made the same mistake ... only difference? 

We were told AND repeatedly ... not to make this same mistake. That means it is not mistake ... conscious deviation. Where was Rupanuga when they went to the Gaudiya Math for advice? Prabhupada told him to steer us away from them, he drove us to their doorstep.

JAGGANATH PURI AND RACISM

Let's kick the wasps nest. Sanātana Dharma or "Hinduism" is full of racism and body consciousness. With the shrinking representation of Westerners joining ISKCON and the larger Hindu diaspora taking over temples, we now see this in ISKCON as well. We are taught that we are not these bodies. 

But that is apparently not the case. If you are born as a Westerner or not in the "correct" family you are completely and absolutely discriminated against. If you are a "brahmana" that eats non-veg you are given the red carpet. If you are a Westerner that is completely sattvic in nature and a sadhaka, you get kicked out the back door into the alley.

Enough is enough already. Srila Prabhupada gave us this beautiful Krishna Consciousness movement to transcend social economic barriers and serve Sri Sri Radha-Krishna together. I applaud all those that have really taken to heart that we are truly Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam. We will not progress as a society until we come to that realization. Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

THE RECIPE FOR "WORLD WAR THREE" IS COOKED UP BY KRISHNA AND SERVED INDIRECTLY BY HIS VARIOUS AGENTS:

(Excerpt from Purport to Srimad Bhagavatam 1.11.34)

Puffed up by such a false sense of becoming God, the deluded living being increases his material strength by so many activities and thus becomes the burden of the earth, so much so that the earth becomes completely uninhabitable by the sane. This state of affairs is called dharmasya glāṇi, or misuse of the energy of the human being. When such misuse of human energy is prominent, the saner living beings become perturbed by the awkward situation created by the vicious administrators, who are simply burdens of the earth, and the Lord appears by His internal potency just to save the saner section of humanity and to alleviate the burden due to the earthly administrators in different parts of the world. 

He does not favor either of the unwanted administrators, but by His potential power He creates hostility between such unwanted administrators, as the air creates fire in the forest by the friction of the bamboos. The fire in the forest takes place automatically by the force of the air, and similarly the hostility between different groups of politicians takes place by the unseen design of the Lord. The unwanted administrators, puffed up by false power and military strength, thus become engaged in fighting amongst themselves over ideological conflicts and so exhaust themselves of all powers. The history of the world reflects this factual will of the Lord, and it will continue to be enacted until the living beings are attached to the service of the Lord.

PADA: Someone was complaining I am not giving credit to Krishna and the demigods for making all these troubles in the world. I am blaming Russia, MAGA, politicians, bogus ISKCON leaders and so on and so forth. Well yes and no. 

Sure! Krishna is in charge of everything that happens, down to the smallest atomic particle, and that is a fact. The demigods are second in command. At the same time, when Krishna is advising Arjuna to fight the Kauravas, He is not saying -- what is the use -- the material energy, Maya, the demigods, forces of nature etc. are causing all this. 

Nope, Krishna says these are evil people doing evil things and they need to be held to account. That does not mean that Krishna and the demigods are not involved. They are, but they are simply facilitating the fighting, they are not the Russian, Ukraine, USA, Iran etc. soldiers and warriors, they are the facilitating agents. 

Krishna owns the boxing match hall, but He is not one of the boxers, nor are the demigods. We are! At the same time, Maya makes people do things they would rather not do. "I murdered my wife -- but I don't know what happened or why etc." OK also true. 

So in some ways we are also controlled by Maya, but we originally surrendered to the control of Maya in the first place, so we are still the main efficient cause. After we surrendered to Maya, we lost our freedom powers and can then be controlled by the modes, other citizens of Maya, the modes of passion and ignorance and etc. Also true. But we originated the cause of being controlled by the modes.

It is however -- also a fact -- that Krishna arranges the belligerent parties to fight each other, to cancel one another out. So He is sort of helping that mutual destruction along. But the parties who are belligerent -- again -- created their own destruction, Krishna just facilitated it. 

They wanted a fight, they got one. But later on, they may not have been happy with the outcome, because they did not understand there is a limit to their material powers. We murdered someone, thinking this is a good idea, then -- we got arrested. OK not a good idea after all. 

The modes made this and that happen, or maybe not happen, but we still go to jail and take a suffering next birth. We are still considered as the main creators of our own situation, and blaming Satan for making us sin, won't work. If we signed up to serve Maya, we are the original root cause of the ensuing reactions. ys pd

The GBC: Obscuring the Sampradaya Sun

Sattvic Dāsa – Calcutta: When we speak of the Sampradaya Sun we speak of he who is enlightening human society with transcendental knowledge or he who is the pride of the Sampradaya and I am sure the GBC accepts His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada as the person who enlightens all the devotees. Others, (Gaudiya Math) may refer to Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Goswami and still others may refer to their own Guru.

I am concerned With Srila Prabhupada.

What I cannot accept is why the GBC are so adamant in maintaining that the ritviks are wrong to the point that they don’t even want to discuss this solution in their proposals for change?

I am making an attempt to analyze this discrepancy.

The Sampradaya is the chain of disciplic succession. There are four Vaisnava Sampradays. Ours is the Brahma Madhva Gaudiya Sampradaya coming down from Lord Brahma to the present day. Srila Prabhupada is the “current link”. Has he ceased to be the link after his physical departure? Not to my knowledge.
There are many gaps between one Acharya and the next sometime thousands of years or more. We have Srila Vyasadeva and then immediately the next one is Madhvacharya. How many years in between the two great souls? So what exactly is the link? It is the transcendental knowledge. Such Knowledge remains intact in its principle but may differ in some detail according to time, place and circumstance. As such Acharyas may differ somewhat in the application of the principles by adopting means that are suitable for preaching Krishna consciousness to the people of that particular time.

As long as the teachings of the current link remain valid we can conclude that he remains the Acharya. One of the objections to the ritvik system is how will the disciplic succession go on? How can it stop with Srila Prabhupada? We need a living guru to connect us to the sampradaya etc.etc. This argument is by nature a faulty one.

First of all, no one can alter, add or subtract from Srila Prabhupada’s teachings. No GBC no sannyasi, no one for as long as Sri Krishna decides. Why – Because the continuation of the Sampradaya is in His hands. Not in the hands of conditioned souls in the way of continuing a business or family or a dynasty of kings. These are all mundane considerations that have no place in Vaisnava culture.
How is the GBC obscuring the Sun of the Sampradaya – Srila Prabhupada?

It’s plain and simple. They are, by denying Srila Prabhupada’s position as the initiator spiritual master for his society, leaving the door open for ambitious people that somehow there is some chance to become a guru. Otherwise why is there such an animosity to a direct order of the Acharya? After all if Srila Prabhupada cannot initiate (posthumously as they insultingly call it) then someone has to take up that very important service.

Furthermore, so many godbrothers attempted to play the role of Guru with the mandate of the GBC and fell short in delivering the goods. So who is left? Others are still there hanging by the skin of their teeth.

Speculation is very dangerous. Replacing a conditioned souls with another conditioned soul thinking that maybe (keep your finger crossed) he will not fall down is an utterly foolish proposition. And I don’t leave it at that. Fall down does not only mean having sex. Disobeying the order of the spiritual master is also a fall down. By definition the all gamut of hypocrites who are now occupying (by force) positions within Srila Prabhupada’s Institution are fallen.

I don’t want to make this article a long one. My concern is that devotees who are still believing the gross lies of the GBC are taken for a ride. Different degrees of ignorance is still ignorance.

The GBC is, has and will continue to obscure Srila Prabhupada by imposing speculations. There is a need for proper, honest distribution of information to safeguard the spiritual interest of countless souls who want shelter of Krishna. The mercy of Krishna cannot be obtained unless we take refuge at the lotus feet of a Bona-fide spiritual master. That Spiritual master is Srila Prabhupada not any self-deluded conditioned soul.

The Sampradaya will continue with Srila Prabhupada as long as the Lord allows it. He will then make arrangements as He has done since time immemorial. We have to stop committing the sin of presumption thinking that we are more intelligent than our spiritual master.

I had only one morning walk with Srila Prabhupada. It was in 1976 in Mayapur, a pleasant January morning. We were only three of us and His Divine grace. It was Bhavananda, Tamal Krishna and me. Srila Prabhupada stopped in front of the main gate and stuck his cane on the ground. He looked in the sky and said with a very grave voice. “You cannot step over the head of the Spiritual Master”. He kept walking and said no more for the duration of the walk.

How many more times do we have to witness devotees stepping over the head of Srila Prabhupada? Tamal and Bhavananda went on doing just that and met with disaster both spiritual and material. The GBC have to stop committing this mistake and come to their senses otherwise their fate is sealed. Arrogance and over intelligence are not qualities of those who claim to be followers of Srila Prabhupada.

Let the GBC shine with the true teachings of Srila Prabhupada. He is the light of Iskcon and the eternal guide of any sincere seeker of transcendence. Give up this animosity to his order and bow down to his will.
