Are the GBC and other ISKCON leaders in an active war against Srila Prabhupada's clear instructions on this and other matters?

PADA: This seems more of a cult meltdown than we originally calculated. They really are fighting each other more openly now. The finger pointing about "who is to blame for the ISKCON mess" is just getting started with this lot. OK the India GBC / ICC ilk are digging their heels in, we need to keep known deviants and molesters in the post of guru / messiahs, and bury molesters in samadhis etc., and that will fix everything. 

"Nope" says Kalakantha and his pals, we just need to bring in some of the elderly senior Srila Prabhupada female disciples out of retirement -- and make them gurus, and that will fix everything. OK neither solution will fix anything. As more than a few people suggested, the female diksha guru issue is more of a false flag operation meant to be a diversion from the real problems. 

And the first real problem -- or "root" of much of this rot is -- the GBC ilk have orchestrated a system of contrived banning, beating, molesting, lawsuits and sometimes assassinations, in order to make themselves the Kings of the ISKCON hill artificially. Fine. You are on top of the hill, and now you are the worshiped messiahs of the hill, but a hill which is made up of a pile of skulls of your former God brothers and sisters -- who all had to be sacrificed to make you the Kings. 

And now many of the banned, beaten, molested, sued -- and friends of the assassinated -- are comparing notes and realizing they have been exploited and victimized. And they want you guys to go. And they won't be happy until some real clean up process happens.

As for the unity in diversity club of ISKCON. OK really? Anuttama visits other religions and makes pretend they are similar to ISKCON, and we all have shared values and main ideas. Except, they never meet with the Prabhupadanugas (like us) to discuss how we can all cooperate together. They only have time to meet with other religions, priests, clergy, or gurus, sadhus, and what not, but not us. Told ya!
