PADA: Yep I agree SD. There are some good ideas, and some very backward ideas, going on in India. And it may explain why India is the main place the GBC went with all their big leaders to set up camp in the late 1980s, because there are many gullible and superstitious folks over there. And things like this deva dasi program are going on, everyone knows, and nothing is done about it. Then these deva dasis have children -- who have no protection -- and their children get set up as the next wave of exploited people. 

Good place for ISKCON leaders to go and make a pedophile samadhi, they are exploiting these poor indigenous folks, agreed. In other words, it is easier to get away with false religion there, and that is why they congregated there. Makes sense. Agreed -- no actually religious man would have sex with an actual deva dasi, out of respect for the deva she is a dasi of. And no one would have sex with a Prabhupada gurukula child, unless there is no respect, it is just an exploiting business arrangement. 

A follower of Bhakti Tirtha swami told me that his followers lived in fear and anxiety because he was preaching that his illness was coming from him taking their karma. And it took him years to take that burden off his back and realize, Bhakti Tirtha is blaming his karma on others. Same thing, exploiting people's sentiments, often to their peril and exploiting.
