[PADA: This is why Srila Prabhupada said we need to make self-sufficient rural communities, these big cities and the devotees therein are going to have more and more big problems. There are various smaller ISKCON temples running on a very tight budget and something like this will hit them very hard economically, never mind there will be evidently future similar events where temples will have to cancel fund raising from their mostly Hindu-ized programs.
Sunnyvale is in much better shape, because they have a core of reliable and resourceful members. Meanwhile, the GBC just announced they will continue funding their $20,000,000 lawsuit against Bangalore, which has been going on since 1997. Yep, just when some of the smaller temples might need some financial support, nope, their lawyers need to get a new Mercedes. Told ya! ys pd]
