ISKCON / Misogyny / Child Abuse / False Renunciation / NM etc. (Summary phone call)

I was talking for a long time on the phone with a lady devotee, that there has been a BIG problem with the manner that women have been treated in and around many sectors of current ISKCON. The fact that so many women's complaints are simply tossed under the rug, whether in ISKCON -- or in the Paramadvaiti program etc. -- shows a lack of respect for the plight of Vaishnava women overall. It seems that many women's complaints are simply run over with the big truck of "you have to surrender to us men" -- even if their complaints are valid. 

That is not really going to make a functioning society. 

Never mind the complaints of many children over their abuse has not made much impact with the leaders either, and there is really no solid outreach or help for these victims to date. Worse, leaders of the victimizer infrastructure program are still promoted as big leaders. Most of the ex-gurukuli students we know of simply avoid having any connection to ISKCON, and so they basically boycott the institution. Thus many women were burnt out, and then in addition many of the "second generation" of children were burnt out too, and the result is mass alienation by both of these groups. 

In ISKCON, especially right after Srila Prabhupada departed, we started having the "women's collecting parties" -- often run by a mean spirited man, who was also lusty to boot. And so there was a problem of the "man leader" having illicit sex with one, or a number of the "samkirtan" women. And worse, some of these women reported they were being beaten by the "samkirtan leader." And how did you guess, the complaints of these women were not given much priority by "the men leaders."

Of course, apparently no one thought it might be a good idea to cancel these programs, or at least make a woman the leader of the party, which was my suggestion at that time. That would have put an end to the sexual exploiting, although it would not have ended exploiting the women as "money collecting cash cows" -- as they were sometimes called by some of these "protecting the women -- men devotees." 

Many of these women collected a lot of money -- and for years together, only to be later booted out for "not being loyal to the GBC's guru." So they had to start off their lives off outside of ISKCON with little or no material asset. A very cruel and clearly anti-women policy. For example Mula Prakriti told me she personally had given ISKCON "several million dollars in collections," only to be discarded later on for her "not following the GBC guru (Ramesvara)." 

Mula Prakriti was very depressed about the whole situation as she confided to me more than once, and later on she succumbed to terminal cancer. She even told me she had once joined "Alcoholics Anonymous," just so she could have some friends and association with other people. Wow, the Alcoholics make better association than a lot of "Krishna devotees"? So this has been the result of many "men leaders" exploiting and then removing these women.

Anyway! Now that the GBC was into their "building collecting business," they needed buildings more than they needed these collectors. So they had to drive out a lot of people so they could hijack the buildings. Even a person who had collected a lot of money had to be driven out on a rail if they challenged the new gurus, because their new object was to seize the buildings. 

So there was an evolving policy to keep the assets -- like the buildings, and jettison the people who had worked so hard for years and collected the money to buy those buildings. And many, many women, probably thousands are victims of this policy. This is also why they kicked out so many hundreds of women who complained about things like the child molesting and other crimes. 

Of course they also kicked me out for complaining about the child molesting and crimes. And then they beat and killed some of us who complained about the child molesting and crimes. No wonder that a lot of these women then "suffered in silence," being terrified of speaking up after they saw how "dissenters" were being banned, beaten if not killed. That is still the case for a number of women. They will write me about different bad things they experienced, but they still don't want their names mentioned because they fear the regime.

*** And we published a letter from a woman who said her husband has been a big authority in ISKCON, and he has bankrupted her and left her nearly penniless and almost homeless, and now he is hiding out and probably ISKCON is helping hide him. No one from ISKCON offers her any assistance.

*** And the wife of ISKCON Guru Prithu writes:

"On numerous occasions, my youngest son, now 4, and I were stalked and attacked by local Brijbasis, while we traveled alone without the protection of a husband. My husband knew this, but he never attempted to protect us from these dangers by staying with us. He remained comfortably living in the temple compound. (...)

On several occasions my husband expressed his desire for me to fan him with a peacock fan and offer him arotik like a "real" Vedic woman should. When I refused to do this, he would become insulted. (...)

I returned to Vrindavan to discover my son, Nila, living in the so-called care of my husband's disciples who had been instructed to beat and lock him in a room, should he not comply with their instructions. They did this several times. Before Nila ran away from the Gurukula for the last time, Prithu had personally beaten him and sent him back to school, feeling betrayed and unloved by his father. (...)

For years, we have been unsupported by ISKCON while my husband has gotten virtually a free ride. His disciples have paid his air fare to places around the globe. He has slept in the best of facilities; eaten his choice of foodstuffs; spent months and months in some of the best vacation spots around the world recuperating from diseases, spending over $10,000 getting his teeth fixed or hiding out somewhere writing a book that mysteriously since 12 years never gets finished."

*** And Sita was recently harassed when she began to question Mahatma das for stealing her money, and so on and so forth ad infinitum.

*** And there was a woman we know who was being beaten black and blue and it turns out her "devotee boyfriend" had been in other ISKCON temples exploiting women, and he was allowed to travel around without restriction and start another woman exploiting program in different locations. Nothing was ever done by any ISKCON authorities ever to restrict this man.

*** There was also a big problem in places like "New Vrndavana" where there was a group of pretty rowdy and aggressive men, who treated their wives (or other women there) as if they were like the obedient slave servants of these men. Some of these men said to Sulochan they were acting as "kshatriyas" (warriors) and so they could have more than one woman according to kshatriya codes. Umm, ok maybe but real kshatriyas are not protecting a homosexual man with pedophile tendencies as a guru? 

Rather the REAL kshastriyas would be helping folks like PADA expose, and if possible remove, such deviants from the post of guru. Anyway, the police turned out to be the real kshatriyas here, they raided New Vrndavana and put a big crimp on their merriment party time entertainment. Meanwhile a news reporter told me it was evident women were being passed around to different men because "it was evident their kids came from different fathers."

That had to be one of the most bizarre aspects of all this, a bunch of muscle bound big bad tough guys, some of them veterans with actual war fighting experience and so forth, are walking about with all sorts of guns, baseball bats, machetes and so forth; and all of this to merely -- protect a homosexual posing as a messiah, dressed in silk and wearing a crown, sitting on a big seat covered with the hands of many little boys. Even the media people told me that was the weirdest thing they had ever seen, and it was self-evident this man was a pedophile due to all the contact with little boys he was having going on left, right and center.  

The son of one of these NV "kshatriya defenders" committed suicide leaving a note behind, "There is no place for me in my religion." It is our opinion that most of these so-called kshatriyas were confusing even their own family members by supporting the worship of deviants as gurus, never mind how badly the general public was baffled by all this imbroglio. 

*** Meanwhile another woman from New Vrndavana told us she was ordered to marry a new husband, never mind she was already legally married to another man. She would just get "a flower garland exchange" with the new man, no need for legal stuff! And when she rejected the new man, she was told she has to take sannyasa, or get off the property in 24 hours. How could so many "devotees" be going along with all this incredible foolishness and manipulation of these defenseless women? And what has been the fate of the children of the people in these situations? People did not notice there is a problem here? Its baffling! 

Where were the "male protectors" of these women and children? 

And that is merely one tale out of maybe over a hundred very weird tales we heard from women from that place. And some young girls there were being married off to older men. And one of these ladies told me if it was not for me helping expose the crimes going on there, which convinced her parents to get her out of there, she would have had to commit suicide to get out of being married to a older man she hated. And so on and so on and so on!  

So it seems like a lot of the men in ISKCON were simply not behaving like proper men, and this lead to a lot of problems for the ladies of ISKCON. 
It thus seems a lot of these ISKCON leaders are misogynists, and if the rank and file follow them, they become contaminated by these issues. 

Sulochana said the leaders are basically exploiters and -- anti-women, anti-children, anti-family and anti-wholesome life. And yes, we need to make a society that actually cares for women, children, family and wholesome life. Women are being suppressed and kicked out, and meanwhile Mahatma's porno watching swami friend Gunagrahi is buried in a samadhi after he kicked out so many people in South America and ruined their lives. They are goondas and not gurus, and that's really summing it up. 

My friend Kamadeva writes in public that he likes a woman with "a large booty." Hee hee! OK he probably does that to upset the many "goody two shoes" types of devotees, whom he considers as largely hypocrites. Many of these "big devotees" are also thinking of women with a large booty, they just won't admit they are still attracted. Give him credit for being honest. Then again, how will he attract a nice devotee woman if he writes like this? Just saying!  

However, as soon as the topic of child molesting comes up, Kamadeva is dead set against it and angry at the perps and their enablers. So here is a person who can relate to the fact that -- sex with consenting adults is one thing, while sex with children is a criminal thing. It always amazes us that so few devotees immediately agree with us on this point and they argue, "well jeepers prabhu, we cannot be offensive and talk about politics." 

That is often their argument. Really! We are flying at 28,000 feet and our right side engine on our 737 is on fire. "Yes, but its no problem prabhu, we don't want to talk about politics here"! OK never mind, you will crash and burn then, unfortunately so will the all the other innocent passengers on board.    

Thus, we were like breaking rocks trying to convince a lot of devotees to protest the women and child abuse program. Kamadeva types need no convincing, he immediately agrees child molesting is a criminal crisis that has to be halted forthwith. So we agreed with the lady on our phone call, there seems to be a connection between the misogyny and the child abuse. And that is also true with most "karmis," they need no elaborate convincing to recognize that child abuse is a crime that needs to be corrected and pronto. Nor do they think curbing child abuse is "politics."

Our caller suggested that there has been a homosexual pedophile problem, simultaneous to the misogyny problem. And she said that seems to be what also happens sometimes under some forms of strict sharia law, or even the Catholic Church where the men are suppressed from contacting women. And this creates a problem of homosexual pedophiles attacking young boys. We both agreed that homosexuals are generally not pedophiles, but clearly some of them are. 

And I was told by a homosexual friend that sometimes women are seen as competition, so there is a sort of mean spirited group of homosexuals or covert ones, who are not really friendly towards women. That might explain some of the mean minded treatment various women have received. Or in other cases various men want to appear as renounced, when they are not, so they treat women viciously to make it appear they are not attracted.  

*** When a woman told me she was going to marry a Christian man because "devotee men are too mean," I had no good comeback.

*** When a woman told me she had become a lesbian because her husband was beating her, I had no good comeback.

*** When various devotee ladies marry "a nice karmi" man because they have given up hope on finding a nice devotee man, I have no good comeback.

*** When I had to stop a "senior devotee" from beating up his wife, and she ran off to marry a "karmi" man, there was no good comeback.  

And so on and so forth. Yes, there is a pattern here. And the lady caller said that perhaps the best of the lot in the GBC guru group is probably Gunagrahi, because at least he has been watching pornography and not really harming another person by having sex with them physically and directly. OK, but he did cause a lot of harm by seriously acting like a mad general and ordering people around in such a contrary and foolish way -- his zone was devastated. And a number of marriages were made topsy turvy by his interference etc.

Of course porn is still degrading and exploiting for women, albeit its not directly harming them physically per se, but its not creating a society of healthy respect for them either. And the fact the GBC folks bury a porno swami in a samadhi is like advertising that they are not interested in respecting women, period. Why would the GBC ilk bury a porno swami in a samadhi, unless they wanted to poke a stick in the eyes of the women class and insult ALL of them? 

OK its more misogyny. There are some studies that suggest porn produces violent sex criminals, its possible there is a connection. Its exploiting women in any case. Meanwhile no one can explain what exactly is "porno swami samadhi"? And why would we bury such a person in Krishna's holy dham right near Srila Prabhupada's samadhi, if not to insult and degrade his position?

Then we have Stockholm syndrome hijacked Jadurani dasi. The GBC's gurus like Tamal, Sivarama, Indradyumna, Satsvarupa etc. all run off to Narayan Maharaja. Then Jadurani acts like their most faithful disciple, and she too runs off to Narayan Maharaja, chief cheer leader of Tamal's illicit sex with men, women and children guru process. Tamal wants people to worship Narayan Maharaja, and Jadurani says she wants the same thing. So the Prabhupada devotees are being banned, beaten, sued, molested and murdered, and NM is giving "gopi rasika classes" to the leaders of that process. So we reject the GBC, by worshiping their topmost bucket boy and cheer leader, and their self-advertised rasika acharya no less?

And NM and Tamal says we ritviks are poison, so they can demonize us to get us killed, and keep their molester empire afloat. Never mind NM says many negative things about Srila Prabhupada. Then a top guru in the Narayan Maharaja camp named "Prem Prayojana prabhu," goes to meet with Paramadvaiti swami, despite we described a photo where we saw what appears to be Paramadvaiti with a naked little girl on his lap and what also appears to be an erection. 

And this is the person the NM / Jaduarani / Prem Prayojana group wants us to have as one of our spiritual leaders? Where is the respect for women, or children, or Krishna, or even respect for common moral sense? We know this guy has been hugging women for years together, already, there are tons of photos already circulating. And some women have made web sites to complain, all to the deaf ears of these "advanced devotees." Devotees of -- what?

The good ole boys club

Its the same thing, anyone can be the guru as long as its not Srila Prabhupada. And its also the same thing, NM clan could not discriminate that Tamal has been a bad actor, they thought he is a guru. And now they cannot discriminate that Paramadvaiti is also another bad actor, they still think he is a guru too and etc. And the NM clan also thought the three deviants of the Gaudiya Matha are acharyas. 

And all of this is connected to the misogyny, child abuse, banning, beating and killing vaishnavas agenda. We need to give "rasika classes" to a program that is banning, beating, molesting, suing and killing vaishnavas? And Jadurani does not realize, this never was a rasika program in the first place? It was aiding and abetting criminals, and rubber stamping them as authorized when they were clearly not. Tamal used to say his two most favorite people are Bhavananda and Narayan Maharaja, and no one noticed this was a problem?

Narayan Maharaja wanted the GBC to vote in more gurus, which is why he helped Satsvarupa write "The Guru Reform Notebook." OK and what kind of gurus were being voted in under their scheme? "I have been going through a period of massive depressions and my experience has been, and at times still is, a nightmare of intense unhappiness, utter hopelessness, coupled with feeling of abandonment and helplessness. (...) For me to get to a better place it is clear that I need first of all to be honest with myself and with all of you. Further, I need to resign from my service of initiating guru and discontinue guiding my disciples in that capacity." (Resignation Letter, Prithu Das, October 21st, 2004)

So we needed to vote in these kinds of people as -- Krishna's successor gurus? And Jadurani does not even understand that Narayan Maharaja was making a huge mistake by cheer leading this process -- of making these types of fools into acharyas? She still thinks all this was some sort of pure spiritual activity?

Then again Jadurani was promoting the lecture of another mayavada sannyasa who says we did not originate with Krishna. Srila Prabhupada says this is mayavada. And Narayan Maharaja also says we did not originate with Krishna. Why are we dismantling Srila Prabhupada's teachings in order to promote mayavadas, and worse, to promote people who are orchestrating women and child abuse if not murders, as Krishna's gurus? Where is the basic respect for Krishna? And Narayan Maharaja says Sridhara Maharaja is a bona fide acharya, oops, big supporter of the bi-sexual acharya of 1936. And! Another guy who says we did not originate with Krishna, we started in brahmajyoti. This is bona fide?  

Of course various women have written to PADA to complain there are no good men for them in the ISKCON camp, ritvik camp, or Narayan Maharaja program. So they tell me they married new age guys, Christian guys, and one married a Sikh. Again, we cannot argue that they made the better deal for themselves, and most likely -- also for their children.   

Then we have the Sanat/ Mukunda / Prahlad / HKC Jaipur clan. Mukunda (UK) has been their chief authority and shiksha guru whom they cited often and still do. Wait? According Mahesh and others, Mukunda has been a women beater whose wife had to run to the police in fear of her physical safety. We heard reports that she was trying to get various people to help her with her violent mate, but it turns out the "karmis" were the best people to help her. 

Why are we worshiping as our shiksha gurus women beaters who object to our helping repair a child beating process? We need to promote women beaters who are against stopping child beating as a means of saving ISKCON? Wait a minute, that is the whole problem in ISKCON, so we should re-introduce that agenda?  

Mukunda vociferously told me its wrong for me to help children who have been being beaten black and blue, and even some of them having their bones broken with huge bamboo sticks. So the women can be beaten, the children can be beaten, and all of this is being done by "protective men." So in the name of rejecting the GBC's women and children beating process, we start to advocate women and children beating agendas in the name of a reform? This is not solving the crisis. Of course this begs the question, what kind of people are the Sanat / Prahlad / Dayalu Nitai's HKC Jaipur folks, when they all fall off their chairs to lick the jack boots of the leader of a women and children beating advocacy program?

Hah hah! So the woman on the phone says, these Mukunda types just need to find a nice homosexual man and just "get it on" and kiss that guy. He hates women because he cannot get it on with any woman, and very likely he is another covert homosexual who hates women, because he has no attraction for them. Instead of all this false renunciates program, why don't all these people just get on with being homosexuals, and live a life of care and concern for another person, even if its another man? 

There are many homosexuals around here and at least they know how to behave respectfully with others. I understand personally that a lot of them were formerly women in their past lives, and they simply have not gotten free of that former identification. That is also why some of them dress like women etc. 

At least then they can learn to love and care for someone, even if its a man, and that will be way better than spending one's entire life hating women competitors and their by-product children and wishing ill on them? Simply wasting one's life hating women and children, if not exploiting them, is not the path forward. So if we can renounce our anarthas, good, but if we are not advanced enough to do so, artificial renounced people seem to be capable of doing horrible things to others.

To SUM! This artificial renunciate process is harming the Krishna's, the Christians, the Muslims and so on. And she thinks a lot of the GBC and Mukunda are the same ilk, they are trying to hide the fact they cannot love a woman and so they create hell for women (and children) to show they are "big renounced men," but they just end up being giant jerks who harm women and children. We agree! And after all the trouble from New Vrndavana with women and children being exploited, making the second in command there Radhanath swami the new leader of ISKCON is really a big poke in the eye to exploited women and children everywhere.

So all of this needs to be addressed and fixed if we are to move on to form a nice wholesome spiritual society. Sorry we have to even point any of this out, it should be self-evident.

These Gaudiya Matha people had offended Prabhupada by saying he cannot use the title of Prabhupada, and not returning Prabhupada's dandavats and tossing the prasadam on the ground and so on. And Narayan Maharaja was with that group in 1971. That is accurate because I was there. 

That does not explain why Brahmananda then became the sergeant at arms for the GBC in 1980 after they had declared Sridhara Maharaja to be the "seniormost advisor to the GBC," and why they also never said anything constructive when the GBC went to Narayan Maharaja. 

Why didn't they object then? And Brahmananda told me he went along with a lot of this nonsense because he was economically dependent on the GBC. So when we have to bend the truth to support our economy, then what? It would be nice if these people gave us all the facts unadulterated at this point. Meanwhile a severe victim of all this says it looks like this is all the MAFIA policy of "omerta," people know about all kinds of things and there is a code of silence. And this person says Gargamuni speaking out at this point is too little to late to help most of us now. ys pd
