My father Advaita Chandra was diagnosed with a very aggressive ENT cancer a month ago. He was living alone in Montreal next to the temple and was not able to take care of himself anymore. When I went to see him I asked him what he wanted for his last days on this earth. He told me he wanted to use this time to connect himself spiritually with the Lord and be surrounded by his family and devotees. We made the choice to bring him back to France so he could have that.
He cannot benefit from the French health insurance as he is a Canadian citizen and the Canadian health insurance does not take care of him in France. He is staying in my house and being a nurse, I take care of the nursing care so we have reduced the costs but he needs medicine and a little material for the pain and inconfort. We will also need to have the palliative care unit intervene if he suffocated as the tumor is growing in his throat.
He cannot eat or speak since 10 days and swallowing the medication is getting very difficult. He is very absorbed and many devotees from France are coming to pray with him and for him. My strongest desire is for him to leave this world connected and at peace. Please help us make this happen.
[PADA: He has been living alone by the Montreal temple, and could no longer care for himself. Why are so many devotees living alone these days? Maybe because they do not want to promote the GBC's debauchee messiahs project? Just saying!
Of course the other question is, why are so many devotees getting terminal illness like cancer in the first place? And why is it that various elite GBC gurus seem to get to go to the best hospitals and get the best doctors, while the peons have to hustle a few bucks to get some much needed medication and care?

Anyway, we wish his soul well on his journey along the road to Krishna. There are self-evidently a lot of bumps, potholes, ditches, broken bridges and many other potential problems in this road. Anyone who even makes it a few percent ahead on this road has done a lot more than most of the rest of the citizens. Jayate. ys pd]
