PADA: We do not have any details yet. Here are some of the last things he was saying.

Colin 'Kula' Jury This was in Hamburg Germany in 1970 when the "Radha Krishna Temple" played a number of venues including the famous 'Star Club' where the Beatles played. Visakha was my wife who left the movement three months after this photo. (See my memoirs when published for more). Most of the devotees here had come over from London to play at the Star Club. We were Rock Stars! It was surreal. One day we tried to distribute our magazines in a snow storm outside the biggest department store in Hamburg. Mostly women shopping and they almost all just pushed past us without stopping. At 3:30 PM we went inside to a Record Store and signed autographs for an hour ~ the women waiting in line for our autographs on the record were the same one's that wouldn't stop outside!
Colin 'Kula' Jury Fame, (fame) puts you there where things are hollow
Katyayani Dasi are you still in contact with Dhananjaya prabhu?
Colin 'Kula' Jury We have never got along much since he participated in the stealing and closing of my temple in 1972...then I recently saw a video of him on YouTube, talking about finding the Manor, and it was all "Him & George", he never once mentions Shyamasundar, Gurudas or Mukunda, NOT ONCE! Then he goes on to insult all Jews, Dutch and Scot's in the worst way. He's an idiot, in my estimation, and I am not impressed into what he has grown into as a human being, forget a devotee, he is a bigot of the first order. As his wife said, "He doesn't have much imagination...he never got past the missionary position!" (Is he a guru now?) I know they put him ahead of me in the Prabhupada Vyasa Puja book...why I have no idea, except I think the 'Official Version" is that he was the first devotee in England...along with a myriad of other lies concerning me.
Colin 'Kula' Jury Here it is, what a dufus...I wrote that he doesn't represent Krishna Consciousness or George Harrison in his comments: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L7L-dh-586w
#1 George Harrison story by Dhanajaya
The Beatle George Harrison donated The Bhaktivedanta Manor and the grounds to the ...
Katyayani Dasi yeee sorry didnt mean to bring up bad memories. I only hear one side of a story and I think he did not say he was the first British devotee. But I am sorry to bring up baad memories. I never saw this video before. But sorry for asking about him.
Katyayani Dasi when i went home last night I looked at RAnchor's book and saw several photos of you and also many past tmes of you. It is obvious by the photos that you were the first British devotee. And Dhananjaya says himself he joined at a ratha yatra which is when he first came in contact with the devotees. Oh well, we all have our twisted realities. A little disappointed that he is a liar but I guess I am not surprised. We are here in this material world due to our envious nature right?
Colin 'Kula' Jury It's not that Katyayani dd, the whole IS_CON debacle has never been handled right in my opinion. Come on ... Srila Prabhupada had 6,000 disciples and only about 300 are still in IS_CON. Some of the stories of their leaving - like mine - are horrific, yet in 32 years no-one has reached-out to me, except to write an offering for the Vyasa Puja book, and then they edit out what they don't like. My medical (chiropractic) bills from the beating have spanned 30 years and still need work. I have not seen Ranchor's book and have no idea what he has written about me.
Katyayani Dasi only nice things. I am not naive I would interested in hearing your stories. When I was interested in the devotees as a kid I thought it was a perfect world, and when I reconnected with some very senior devottes closely I was shocked to hear the conditions they endured.
Katyayani Dasi I am very sorry that bad things happened to you.
Katyayani Dasi I am sorry I brought up bad memories, my sincere apologies. You look very happy in those photos and the parts about you in the book are really nice.

Mathura Das Kula Ji, I can confirm that you are are rightly honored as being the first British devotee in Ranchor's book "Where the Sun Shines"- (commissioned by Iskcon - as the official history of the British Yatra).
Trilokanatha Das I would like to say, Kula, that I remember you with fond memories. I loved your kirtans and there is a photo of us together (me as Talavan) in a kirtan party going over London Bridge. I think the picture was on the wall in Soho Street for a while. I wish I had a copy to post. Anyway, I was proud to be beside you and I still am. I did not know you had been treated badly and I am sorry for that. It is horrible. I know you were the first English devotee and knew George etc. but my admiration for you was nothing to do with either of those things. It was because you were (and still must be) such a nice devotee. .. and you may not even remember me it was so long ago now. Unfortunately, some cheats pose as vaishnavas and ISKCON has had many problems (including murders dare I mention) but all of that sh*t has nothing to do with Vaishnavism, Prabhupada's message and his intentions for ISKCON. May Divine Love flood your heart.
