Dear Georgia Devaki, Right, all these issues had to be tackled by someone, sooner or later, better that we addressed this early on: Guru appointment; Zonal gurus; Idea gurus fall into illicit sex and drugs; Guru voting; Guru suspending; Guru censuring; Changing the books; Offering bhogha to conditioned souls; Selling temples; Contrived excommunications; And of course the poison issue; Going to the Gaudiya Matha etc., later on it would have been almost impossible to weed all this out and figure out what happened. It would have taken centuries for people to weed through all this, and the documents would have been lost, hidden, and so on, thus its amazing we were able to document all this early on, otherwise people would have no idea what happened to the Hare Krishna religion. ys pd

Dear ********, Right, this is what many of my brothers said to me over the years, "I need to chant my rounds, I need to be peaceful, this is too much agitation, this upsets my mind," etc. -- and so they basically allowed the pirates to take over the ship, and toss the passengers into the ocean. They did not seem to have a whole lot of concern for the sinking of the ship of ISKCON, nor the passengers who were being tossed overboard and victimized, nor, for much of anything actually. And some of them even criticized that I had a karmi job, because they were being paid salary from the pirates. They wanted me to have no income at all so I would stop everything, so that no one would report about the passengers getting robbed and victimized. In other words, there seems to have been an epidemic of apathy and lack of concern. Unfortunately, this was noted by the karmi media. ys pd

Dear Subodh prabhu: There are whispers that were enhanced on the poison tapes. I distributed parts of the original tape right in front of the LA temple in 1997, as for the whispers, Tamal is one of them, Bhavananda is giggling and laughing, Jayapataka apparently also says "poison isvarya rasa," and someone else says "Jay, God D*** it Jay" (Jay Israel is Jayadvaita), so these seem to be the core people involved. Others knew about it, and that is how I got the tape later, one of the eye witnesses arranged to get me the tapes. Prithu Putra knew about it and that is why he left ISKCON at the time, but he was too scared to say anything in public, but he told his friends who reported to me later. Yes, India is terrible for getting justice. ys pd
