Gour Govinda Swami: We are not speaking anything pseudo-sampradayist. We should not hear the words of pseudo-sampradayists. When Mahaprabhu ordered, “You become guru and deliver this world,” that instruction has come unto my guru, Srila Prabhupada, and my guru gave me this same order. So I will never develop any duplicity or crookedness in executing this order. That means I will never come in murkha-sampradaya or kapatya-sampradaya or phalgu-sampradaya, the schools of fools, hypocrites and pretenders.
[PADA: So why is GGM associated with this Fakir Mohan fellow, his bogus sampradaya, and his teachings? Srila Prabhupada considered these siddha pranali folks to be pseudo-sampradaya.]
Jagat says: The point is, what is true? Is siddha-pranali a true Gaudiya Vaishnava tradition, taught by Bhaktivinoda Thakur on the basis of Dhyana Chandra’s Paddhati, or not? Is it discussed in Harinama-chintamani, Jaiva Dharma and Chaitanya Shikshamrita or not? If it is, then why has the Gaudiya Math deviated? Who is the deviant?
Give me one Gaur Govinda Maharaj, one Fakir Mohan Das, one of the nicest sweetest, humblest and learned Vaishnavas I have ever met, likely one of the most advanced Gaudiya Vaishnavas in the whole of Orissa, done tremendous service to Mahaprabhu by discovering and publishing many rare Orissan books written by associates of Mahaprabhu.
Madhavananda Dasji has been greatly inspired by Fakir Mohan and his magazine, which is a source of delight and joy for devotees around the world, is to a great extent informed by the learning that he has received from Fakir Mohan Dasji. There are few devotees in ISKCON who have the openmindedness and generosity of spirit that I see in Madhavananda. I see evidence of this over and over again. He does not have the narrowmindedness of the ISKCON cultists, whose professions of faith in Srila Prabhupada only mask their own lack of true spiritual acumen.
As for Kanupriya Goswami, I never met him personally, but I was close to his nephews when in Nabadwip. These men are not sahajiyas. Kanupriya Goswami was devoted exclusively to the Holy Name and his siddhanta was actually closer to the Gaudiya Math than the Radh Kund babajis.
PD, ever since he was himself accused of being a Sahajiya by no one less that Srila Prabhupad himself, has loved to bandy about the name and accuse this one and that one of being a sahajiya. For him, Bhaktivinoda Thakur himself would have been a sahajiya. His indiscriminate offensiveness… and that of all his acolytes and fellow travelers… means that for all the jumping around and shouting “Prabhupada Prabhupada!” will result in a scarred spirituality that will keep prema an ever receding dream.
Rupa and Raghunath are our acharyas. Follow them and those who follow them. Sifting through ISKCON’s sordid history to find the latest dirt on its fallible sannyasis and gurus is NOT the path to prem, no matter how you dress it up. Rupa Goswami says find someone who is expert in bhajan, who is free from the tendency to find fault, and associate with him. LEARN about bhajan. GET SERIOUS. This is not serious spirituality. This is wasting your time in stupid sectarian politics. As Jesus said, “Before you try to remove the splinter from someone else’s eye, take the log out of your own.”
Prema is not attained this way. Stop wasting your time. The Bhagavata and Charitamrta tell you what to look for, whar are the symptoms of a saintly devotee. Stop fencing yourselves in with external orders that prevent you from finding advanced association. Look for it. And if you don’t like what you see in ISKCON, don’t you think you might be better off looking somewhere else?

On one side he is publishing articles on guru tattva, how they have to be pure devotee only, and the whole elucidations on guru / putanas, yet on the other hand he is regularly attending retreats at Goverdhana and Varsana sitting on Vyasasans together with devious Burijana, chid abusing GBC gurus like Dhanudara, and mayavada/ sahajiya Satcinandana, millionaire Giriraja, (who totally fit the description of his putana /gurus,) approving and rubber stamping them as qualified gurus. Because he personally gains form the whole thing. If he was a genuine sadhaka he will not be intimately associating (and promoting) with these cheaters…
